Created as a Pièce Unique, the Astronomia “Gates of Olympus” transforms an entire mythological universe into mechanical form. For the first time ever, Jacob & Co. created a timepiece where the dial is positioned entirely above the movement, transforming the watch into a fully dimensional scene instead of a traditional display. Olympus does not sit on top of the mechanics. It exists within them. Beneath Zeus and his kingdom lives the exclusive Jacob & Co. JCAM63 caliber, composed of 503 components and powered by one of the most spectacular complications in high watchmaking: the triple-axis tourbillon. The entire regulating organ rotates continuously across three separate axes, creating a level of motion almost never seen in watchmaking. One axis rotates every 60 seconds. Another every 18 seconds. Another every 15 seconds. The result is hypnotic, alive, and constantly changing from every angle. Astronomia “Gates of Olympus” pushes beyond storytelling.
