You want to show him some examples that he can learn from, I think he's going through that now. I think he'll continue to grow from those things. At the end of the day, he is a competitor. That's why we love this guy. He'll continue to learn and grow, but you don't want to put a player like that in a box. "I would be in extreme favor of Kyle winning the vote. I think that he's a guy that certainly poured a lot of his life into this sport. It was controversial at the time, but Mark is asked what he thinks Elon did well during it. Mark responds: “You can agree or disagree with the exact tactics and how he did that. Every leader has their own style… But a lot of the specific principles that he pushed on: making the organization more technical, decreasing distance between engineers at the company and him, fewer layers of management. I think that those were generally good changes.” Mark also believes this was good for the technology industry as a whole: “My sense is that there were a lot of other people who thought that those were good changes, but who may have been a little shy about doing them. Just in my conversations with other founders and how people have reacted to the things we’ve done… When people see what Elon is doing, I think that gives people the ability to think through how to shape their organizations in a way that can be good for the industry and make all these companies more productive over time.” He continues: “So I think that was one thing where he was quite ahead of a bunch of the other companies on… And from the outside, it’s very hard to know. leader hyeongjun 🥺🥺 💬 when do you realize that your friend has become a grown-up? dongpyo: hyeongjun sometimes reaches out to me when he has a lot on his mind or having a hard time. so when we talk about those things at that time, or when we talk while eating meat together, seeing how deeply he thinks about his group and how much he worries about how he can move forward in a better direction makes me think “wow he has really grown up”. it makes me realize again that we’re no longer 18 year old kids anymore. hyeongjun: when i think about being a grown-up, it’s not about becoming an adult. i think it means being able to take responsibility. responsibility for the position you’re in. like now that i’ve become a leader, i think about what kind of responsibility i can take on as a leader? and for the members to follow/listen to me when i say something, i also have to do ‘that well’ myself (to be an example). that’s the reason i think about things like this a lot.
