It will be a nightmare because the trains will be every 15 mins and not 7 mins at Aintree. The space around that station is well more than Sandhills, and if you live in Southport or heading that way, then you’ve got no chance of getting home till at least 7 or 8 if you use the train. Piss take and that’s on this council and merseytravel.

All the it’ll be fine what’s wrong with queues. On a nice day, when Everton have won 👍, on a shitty rainy day with no cover queuing for ages (Sandhills platform isn’t as big or wide as aintree!) Everton just been beaten, ha it will be chaos, espcially if ppl aren’t used to it.

I was there on Thursday, those lines were very well marshalled and they moved very very quickly. I've never been to Sandhills station so cannot comment but Aintree was spot on on Thursday 👍
