I keep seeing posts like this, about a giant time gap between Binance and Polymarket. I have run the numbers. All price gaps on Polymarket are closed in under 750ms. Most are closed in under 250ms (0.25 seconds). There is no "30 second price gap" between Binance and Polymarket. 250ms is actually not hard to compete on, but it puts humans, and most bots that you'd find floating around on GitHub, out of the picture. Also, these bots (this one is particular) buys positions even when the markets are stable and no significant price swings are occurring. They may be price aware, but they are mostly just market making - placing passive bids on either side. The 15 minute crypto markets are a game mostly being won by very fast, highly sophisticated market making algorithms, being run on servers that are physically located near Polymarket's servers (though ironically, they are located in London, and they block connections from London - the closest you can get is Ireland). Competing on these markets is out of reach of 99.9% of those trying this.
