Too much Spark? There’s no such thing. ⚡🍋 A funky, high-energy Mountain Dew Spark world where every sip brings the doodle chaos to life. 💥✨ Created with Seedance 2.0 on Fish Creative PROMPT: MOUNTAIN DEW SPARK — “TOO MUCH SPARK” Duration: 15 seconds Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Style: Premium live-action commercial + playful 2D hand-drawn doodle animation, funky, energetic, youthful, colorful, fast-paced. Visual Quality: Ultra-realistic cinematic 4K, crisp product photography, natural skin texture, vibrant commercial lighting, smooth motion, dynamic camera work. CHARACTER: A cool young male in his early 20s, confident and playful, short dark slightly messy hair, expressive face, trendy oversized graphic T-shirt, relaxed baggy cargo pants and clean sneakers. Maintain STRICT face, hairstyle, clothing and identity consistency throughout. 0–4s — THE SPARK Open with a stylish low-angle tracking shot of the boy casually walking through a colorful modern city street while holding a chilled Mountain Dew Spark can. Tiny cute hand-drawn doodles subtly appear around him: stars, lightning bolts, hearts and lemons. He stops. Cut to a macro close-up of the cold can covered in condensation. He cracks it open. PSHHHH! A tiny hand-drawn lightning bolt appears above the can and vibrates with the sound. 4–8s — TOO MUCH SPARK He takes a big sip. Instantly, colorful 2D doodles explode from behind him. Lightning bolts race across the screen, cute lemons bounce past camera, stars pop around his head and cartoon speed lines surround his body. He looks surprised, then grins. Use a quick punch-in camera movement. 8–15s — THE BOOST Suddenly, he launches forward at ridiculous speed. Use rapid whip pans, low-angle tracking shots, dynamic handheld movement and energetic speed ramps as he runs through the city. Every movement triggers a doodle: Footstep → star burst Arm swing → lightning bolt Jump → comic explosion Turn → curved hand-drawn speed lines Smile → tiny floating hearts The doodles physically interact with the live-action environment, wrapping around poles, bouncing off walls and following his movement. At 15 seconds, he races toward a city staircase, preparing to jump onto it. End with a fast forward-moving camera transition that naturally continues into Part 2. CAMERA & EDITING: Fast commercial editing with smooth continuous motion. Use whip pans, crash zooms, low-angle tracking, speed ramps and match cuts. Keep movement flowing naturally so the video feels like one continuous sequence, not separate clips. DOODLE ANIMATION: Cute hand-drawn 2D doodles with imperfect sketch lines, playful expressions and bouncy animation. Playful and cute, never childish. Doodles must interact naturally with the live-action environment. PART 2: MOUNTAIN DEW SPARK — “TOO MUCH SPARK” Duration: 15 seconds Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Style: Premium live-action commercial + playful 2D hand-drawn doodle animation, funky, energetic, youthful, colorful, fast-paced. Visual Quality: Ultra-realistic cinematic 4K, crisp product photography, natural skin texture, vibrant commercial lighting, smooth motion, dynamic camera work. CHARACTER: Continue with EXACTLY the same young male from Part 1. Same face, hairstyle, oversized graphic T-shirt, baggy cargo pants, sneakers and overall identity. STRICT IDENTITY AND OUTFIT LOCK. 0–6s — DOODLE CHAOS Continue directly from Part 1 as the boy jumps onto a city staircase and races upward. Hundreds of cute hand-drawn doodles chase after him. Animated lemons bounce down the stairs. Lightning bolts zigzag beside him. Tiny stars spin through the air. Cartoon flames briefly appear behind his sneakers. Rapidly alternate between: Low-angle running shot Side tracking shot Close-up of sneakers Close-up of his excited expression Overhead shot as doodles spiral around him Use energetic whip transitions synchronized with the music. 6–11s — PRODUCT HERO The boy suddenly stops. Everything freezes. The doodles freeze mid-air around him. He casually spins the Mountain Dew Spark can toward the camera. Transition into a premium macro product close-up: cold condensation, sharp label detail, vibrant commercial lighting and fizzy energy. Hand-drawn lemons and lightning bolts begin orbiting around the can. The camera slowly pushes toward the product while the background remains softly blurred. 11–15s — FINAL EXPLOSION He takes one final sip and smirks directly at camera. On the beat, every doodle in the scene rushes toward him: ⭐ ⚡ 🍋 ❤️ 💥 They explode outward into a giant colorful hand-drawn burst behind him. He stands confidently in the center, holding the Mountain Dew Spark can toward camera. End on a clean premium hero shot of the Mountain Dew Spark can surrounded by playful doodle lightning, stars and fruit. Final feeling: refreshing, energetic, mischievous, funky and irresistibly fun. CAMERA & EDITING: Fast commercial editing with smooth continuous motion. Use whip pans, speed ramps, macro product photography, orbiting camera movement, crash zooms and match cuts. Transitions should be motivated by the character's movement and preserve visual continuity from Part 1. DOODLE ANIMATION: Cute hand-drawn 2D doodles with imperfect sketch lines, playful expressions and bouncy animation. Doodles should physically interact with the live-action world rather than appearing as static overlays. Keep them playful and stylish, never childish. NEGATIVE PROMPT: No character identity changes, no outfit changes, no inconsistent face, no extra fingers, no distorted hands, no warped product, no incorrect can shape, no unreadable logo, no duplicate cans, no floating character, no stiff movement, no random scene changes, no disconnected clips, no excessive motion blur, no dull lighting, no childish cartoon environment, no photorealistic doodles, no messy compositing, no deformed facial features, no text artifacts.

Review: Ace Combat 8 is a breathtaking, high action fighter pilot game with a surprisingly poignant story and the most complete package in the series. Piloting the jets feels incredible and the campaign delivers a thrilling 20+ hour story, visually stunning graphics, and gameplay that delivers on pure hype, bolstered by an excellent soundtrack. Visuals: Ace Combat 8 looks, feels, and sounds incredible. It has some of the most lifelike graphics I've ever seen. A massive amount of detail has gone into the jets of course, but the character models and realtime global illumination are equally impressive. The star of the show though is the new volumetric cloud system that makes flying through dynamic weather patterns more realistic than ever. The overall presentation is absolutely stunning from start to finish - I can't overstate this enough. I enjoyed watching Mission Replays just to appreciate the visuals and sound design with the cinematic camera angles. Gameplay: The core gameplay loop is extremely satisfying: complete missions, earn credits, and upgrade your aircraft. There's a new Skill Tree system for progression, allowing you to unlock new planes, special weapons, and upgrade parts. The final unlocks (the F-22 and F-35) are both absolute beasts that handle like a dream. Aircraft are split into different categories that require you to change and adapt your playstyle based on the mission. Fighters are the fastest and most nimble, best for pure dogfighting. Attack Jets are the heavy bombers, trading maneuverability for devastating ground target damage. Multi-Role jets are the balanced hybrid that still offer good handling. Finally, the new Electronic Warfare (EW) aircraft are a great support jet equipped with tools like EMPs and radar jammers. The game can be surprisingly challenging, particularly early on. Escort missions can be fairly punishing, with the mission failing if your allies take too much damage. I do think the campaign relies a bit too heavily on them in the opening hours. Once you start unlocking better aircraft and upgrade parts though, the difficulty curve starts to balance out. Customization: Equipping different upgrade parts also makes a HUGE difference in how your plane handles. Before each mission, you can fully customize your aircraft and weaponry, as well as those of your squadmates. Your plane can now be equipped with two special weapons in addition to standard missles (a first for the mainline games), in addition to Upgrade Parts that drastically ater alter your handling and capabilities. This allows for an incredible degree of customization based on the mission. Fighting a giant landship with tanks and naval vehicles? Throw on Air-to-Ground missiles and Unguided Bombs to take out massive groups in one go. Taking on an elite squad of enemy fighters? Hop into a nimble fighter jet with as much Anti-Air weaponry as possible. Joker Squad consists of four members, so bringing a balanced team is important. Alternatively, you can just hit Auto-Select to instantly set up your squadmates and jump straight into the mission. Story: The campaign spans 30 highly replayable missions with varied objectives across air, ground, and sea. It even features massive boss fights with some truly hype moments. The team put noticeably more effort into the campaign this time around. Set in 2030, the narrative drops you and Joker Squad into an escalating global conflict against the Republic of Sotoa. You play as a pilot that has been brought onboard the Endurance ship after your mentor Cope is killed in action. Cope was the legendary Ace Pilot known as "Wings." But the FCU decides to cover up his death in order to keep up morale, forcing you to take on his identity. Cope acts as a narrator for the rest of the game, as you try to keep his legend alive. The story has its ups and downs, but the near-future military drama is grounded by a strong cast of characters (led by your squad members) and an overarching narrative spanning multiple chapters and continents. Some of the best story moments were actually in between missions, where you get to interact with your squadmates and learn more about their backstory. Cinematics are also excellent and it's a very solid campaign overall! Summary: I genuinely enjoyed my time with Ace Combat 8 and was legitimately sad when it was over. Between the lengthy 20-25 hour campaign and Ace Combat Online, you're getting a ton of value with this game. Ace Combat Online is the series most extensive multiplayer offering yet, featuring PVP, PVE, and online co-op modes. And with the Aircraft Tree and cosmetics to unlock, there's plenty to grind for long after the credits roll. + Breathtaking, lifelike visuals with beautiful lighting and incredibly detailed aircraft and weather system + Deep customization with a rewarding progression tree + 20+ hour campaign featuring 30 missions and massive boss fights + Extensive multiplayer featuring PvP, PvE, and online co-op + Incredible soundtrack that elevates the high-action gameplay + Deeper storytelling with a strong cast of characters, cinematic cutscenes, and military/political drama - Narrative has some ups and downs, although it does come together in the end with some strong character moments - Heavy on performance at 4K - Early escort missions can be frustrating, but it makes the progression feel more rewarding in the end Final Score: 9/10 Playtime: 25 hours Platform: Steam Thanks to Bandai Namco for providing a review copy. Crumbling stone towers are covered in glowing blue vines, and broken celestial statues line a deserted avenue. The camera begins with a slow aerial drone shot descending through swirling clouds before pushing toward the six Starkeepers standing together on the edge of a towering cliff overlooking the city. Their capes and jackets ripple dramatically in the wind as stardust drifts around them. A low-angle hero shot introduces the team. Nova stands confidently in the center with his radiant starlight sword resting on his shoulder. Lyra stands calmly behind him, her cloak floating unnaturally as pebbles levitate around her. Kai bounces impatiently, his comet gauntlets crackling with orange energy. Elio kneels briefly, touching the ground as glowing vines spread beneath his fingers. Skye twirls one crystal blade with effortless confidence while icy mist curls around her boots. Noctis remains slightly apart, half-hidden in darkness, his crimson eyes glowing. Suddenly the ground trembles. A colossal Celestial Beast—an enormous wolf-like creature made of obsidian rock with glowing blue cosmic cracks—bursts through the ruined streets. The camera rapidly dollies toward its face as it unleashes a deafening roar that sends shockwaves across the city. The final shot is a close-up of Nova's determined eyes as he whispers, "Together." PART 2 (15–30s) — "The Combination Begins" The camera whips forward as Nova sprints first, leaving brilliant golden trails of light behind him. A dynamic tracking shot follows his sword as he clashes with the beast, showering sparks across the ruins. The monster counters with a massive swipe, forcing Nova backward. Before it can strike again, Lyra calmly raises one hand. The camera rotates 360 degrees around her as gravity bends visibly through shimmering purple distortions. Entire stone pillars tear free from the ground and float into the air, trapping one of the beast's legs. Kai laughs loudly and launches himself like a blazing comet. The camera switches to an over-the-shoulder aerial perspective as fiery orange energy erupts from his gauntlets. He slams into the beast's shoulder with explosive force, sending fragments of glowing stone flying in every direction. Quick cinematic cuts show Skye charging across frozen pathways she creates beneath her feet while Elio's glowing vines race through the cracked streets, wrapping around fallen pillars to stop collapsing structures from crushing nearby civilians. Noctis silently disappears into a pool of shadows without anyone noticing. PART 3 (30–45s) — "Perfect Synchronization" The beast breaks free and unleashes a devastating energy blast toward the team. Time seems to slow. The camera circles them in a dramatic orbit. Elio thrusts both hands forward, causing an enormous wall of luminous emerald vines to erupt from the earth. The shield absorbs the blast while green healing particles wash over his teammates, restoring their strength. The camera instantly cuts upward as Lyra snaps her fingers. Gravity reverses around the monster. Massive chunks of ancient buildings float into the sky, carrying the beast with them. Dust, rubble, and glowing debris spiral in slow motion. Skye smiles confidently before launching herself upward, gracefully skating through the air on shimmering ice crystals. She performs a series of lightning-fast spinning slashes, freezing the beast's limbs with brilliant blue crystal formations. The music suddenly quiets. Behind the frozen monster... A dark shadow slowly rises. Noctis emerges silently from complete darkness, his crimson eyes glowing brighter than ever. In one fluid motion, he crosses both shadow blades and slices through the air, leaving enormous black-and-purple crescent trails that shatter the beast's defenses. Nova looks upward. He smiles. "This is it." PART 4 (45–60s) — "The First Team Attack" A sweeping crane shot reveals all six heroes surrounding the suspended beast in perfect formation. Lyra compresses gravity, pulling the monster into the exact center. Elio's glowing vines anchor everyone together, symbolizing their unity. Kai rockets high into the sky, becoming a blazing comet that crashes downward. Skye launches dozens of crystalline blades that spiral around the beast like frozen stars. Noctis creates an enormous eclipse behind the creature, locking every escape route in darkness. Finally, Nova rises above everyone, his sword absorbing streams of light from all five teammates. Their different energies—gold, violet, orange, emerald, blue, and black-purple—flow into one brilliant celestial blade. The camera rotates rapidly around Nova before slowing into dramatic slow motion. He dives through the sky, delivering one breathtaking slash. A gigantic six-pointed star of pure energy erupts across the battlefield, consuming the Celestial Beast in a dazzling explosion of light, ice, vines, gravity distortions, comet fire, and shadow. Silence. The dust settles. The six Starkeepers stand side by side as dawn's first light breaks over the horizon. High above them, one distant star flickers... then mysteriously goes dark. Cut to black. This single moment hints that defeating one monster has awakened a far greater threat, inviting viewers into the next chapter.

TOPIC #118: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO GCV AMBASSADORS AND SPECIAL ENVOYS Conclusion of the Pioneer’s Handbook ( updater version) 2025 marks an extraordinary and historic moment in our shared journey for Pi Network and Global GCV Movement. They finally "married " together. From this moment forward, we officially enter a new chapter that I proudly name: The GCV Economy Era With this milestone, the Pioneer’s Handbook reaches its conclusion. This is my 118th article. In Chinese culture, 118 symbolizes prosperity and good fortune—a perfect symbol for closing one historic chapter and opening another. These final words are dedicated to all pioneers, merchants, ambassadors, envoys, and warriors whose unity, discipline, and perseverance made the GCV dream a reality. --- 1. The Origin of GCV — A Seed Planted in China The GCV Movement began in China, nurtured by pioneers with vision, courage, and deep study. In February 2022, Mr. Rong Zhang Bao launched the Pi Network International Seminar, calling pioneers to study Pi deeply, understand its mission, and define its economic value. After months of collective research and surveys, Chinese pioneers established the foundational consensus value: $314,159. In May 2022, Mr. Bao Rong Zhang and I, together with Nigerian pioneer Mr. Woody, launched three international Twitter Space conferences. Mr. Woody's influence helped introduce GCV to tens of thousands of pioneers worldwide, marking the true beginning of GCV's international journey. I would like to acknowledge Mr. Rong Zhang Bao, former community leader in China, as the founder of GCV, Mr. Woody Lightyear, former community leader in Nigeria, as a key supporter of GCV at early stage Their contributions during the early stages of GCV in 2022 were essential. The early path, however, was not easy. GCV faced misunderstandings, attacks, misinformation, and division. My speeches were removed from groups. Leaders became confused or misled. Some pioneers, lacking education, turned toward black markets. At that point, I made a deliberate decision: I stepped back from global expansion and devoted one full year exclusively to the China community. During that year, Chinese merchants contributed nearly USD 10 million worth of products through GCV barter. However, because pioneers had no Pi available in their wallets, many transactions relied on contracts without Pi or fiat settlement. This created no usable GCV data, and eventually many merchants—unable to sustain operations—left the movement. From this experience, one truth became clear: > Sustainability is essential. Passion alone is not enough. We must be rational, prepared, and educated. To succeed, we must: Use partial Pi + partial fiat Build education before expansion Protect merchants as carefully as pioneers If pioneers only demand from merchants, the economy cannot survive. If merchants collapse, GCV collapses. This realization is why I began writing the Pioneer’s Handbook—to align pioneers and merchants under one sustainable economic vision. --- 2. Expanding Beyond Borders — The Global Rise of GCV By 2023, it became clear that China alone could not generate sufficient global GCV data. GCV had to rise worldwide. One by one, visionary leaders emerged: Ms. Lumari Ms. Nonny Mr. JoJo Mr. M. Rad Mr. Olivier Mr. Iyanda Mr. Patrick Mr. Jason …and many others. Strong movements followed across the Philippines, Indonesia, Africa, the Arab Region, Malaysia, Taiwan (China), Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, India, Bangladesh, South Korea, and throughout Africa and the Middle East. Many pioneers who doubted GCV did so not out of malice—but from lack of study or misunderstanding of economic authority. Let it be clear: PCT manages technology Pioneers manage the economy GCV is our responsibility and our consensus authority Those who studied deeply developed 100% trust and confidence. --- 3. Deep Gratitude to the International GCV Leadership Although it is impossible to name everyone, the following leaders played defining roles in shaping global GCV success. International GCV Leadership • Ms. Lumari Industry Alliance Chair (Global), Global GCV CT Executive Director, Committee Chair, Global GCV Ambassador, Head of Philippines GCV Ambassadors The heart and engine of global operations. His strategic insights strengthened both the GCV system and the Industry Alliance framework. • Mr. Rad Vice Executive Director, GCV Symbol Designer, Global GCV Ambassador Working under extremely difficult conditions in Iran, he never stopped designing certificates, logos, and charter contributions that define GCV’s global identity. • Ms. Nonny Padja Eagle Woman Vice Chair of Global GCV CT Committee, Training Director, Head of Indonesia GCV Ambassadors My steadfast partner for over two years, leading education, data creation, and ecosystem growth across Indonesia. • Mr. Jason Wong Global GCV CT Education Director, Global GCV Ambassador A voice of wisdom whose articles on morality, mindset, and stability helped pioneers deeply understand GCV education. Additional Global GCV CT Contributors Inspector Mr. Soni Vaji (France) Mr. Samer Sioury (Arab Region Industry Alliance Chair) Mr. Yohanes Helebak (Group Administrator Director) Mr. Ramesh Shetty (Vice Education Director) Mr. Iyanda Cherif Abiola (Publicity Director) --- 4. I played 4 hours of The Blood of Dawnwalker - and it's damn good. My full thoughts below 👇 The version we played was in beta and running on some powerful PCs. It was from the beginning of the game so I wasn't able to explore the entire map. It felt pretty polished overall and I didn't experience any bugs or performance issues during my time. The game takes place in Vale Sangora - it's a beautiful valley near the Carpathian Mountains full of lush trees, bogs, mines, and all kinds of wildlife and villages and communities roughly comparable in size to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine but packed with detail. There's a lot of neat history everywhere you look and explore, with references to Genghis Khan's hordes, the Tatars, and more. There are also little details that help make the setting a bit more real. Because Vale Sangora is run by the vampire leaders, silver is forbidden to have in your possession, and not every merchant will buy or sell them. It looks great visually, but I wouldn't say in a way that blew my socks off. Environments look good, trees, bushes etc all swaying in the wind, good lighting, character models are nicely detailed. It's not pushing things on a technical level but I found that perfectly ok. From the beginning of the game, a series of events introduces you to Coen's family - his parents and siblings. His father Pieter is a strong and stern caretaker who knows his way around a sword but deeply cares for his family. Coen's mother Esme is stricken by an illness that the whole family is trying to wrangle with, and his siblings are playful and endearing. As the vampires don't tolerate 'weakness', you start the feel the weight of the family's plight that gives off an aura of despair. At least in these initial hours, I found myself surprisingly growing attached pretty quickly. While there's an ominous metaphorical 'cloud' that hangs over the valley, there are bits of lightheartedness thrown in too. One charming quest saw me play tag with my siblings and go fishing in the old family hangout spot. Character performances and voice acting are excellent. There weren't really any characters that felt out place or miscast. I especially enjoyed the gravelly voices of Pieter and Brencis - the leader of the vampires. Brencis comes off formidable, and events in the game gave me a motivational drive for revenge, which I always like in games. The story is set up in a way that each of the vampire leaders needs to be taken down, with Brencis as the head honcho. You can attack them in any order, even going directly to Brencis from the outset, but you'll probably find you'll have a bit of trouble with that approach. While I've always been a little hesitant about plots that have open-ended structures, the team at Rebel Wolves told me that each vampire 'captain' is unique with many quests tailored to their specific stories, and there was a lot of effort and care put into each. They urge players to play through each storyline to get the most out of the game. There were lots of endearing characters in just the first few hours. Anca - a local herbalist and a witch, reminded me a lot of The Witcher 3's Keira. And she's a romance option. There are other sentient races as well, like the Uriash which I would say resemble something like the Qunari from Dragon Age. They're big, tough and brooding and are seen as monsters and somewhat shunned. There's a nice variety of monsters too, like kobolds who are basically ghouls that talk smack, and I came across the "Great Bog Wurm" in a swampy area which was it's own mini-boss fight. When I compare to something like The Witcher 3 (because many people understandably do with Dawnwalker given how the game looks and the makeup of the Rebel Wolves team), movement and navigation in the game felt fairly fluid overall. Walking, sprinting, vaulting ledges, etc were smooth. There's a bit of clunkiness when it comes to jumping, where I'd sometimes starting sliding jumping down a hill or onto rocks. There's also an ability that Coen automatically gets after he becomes a half-vampire called "Planeshift". It lets him teleport dash around the world so he can reach higher areas or across gaps. It felt a little clunky and imprecise when scaling things like towers and trying to land back on solid ground. There's a glossary/beastiary that's structured just like The Witcher 3, and the soundtrack is basically, you guessed it, The Witcher 3 in all the best ways. And like one of my favorite parts of The Witcher 3, there are plenty of points of interest that lead to unique little narrative beats or quests. One saw me come across a villager searching for his brother. Following that little quest line led me to a buried tomb which led to a boss fight with an ancient warrior and cool loot at the end. One abrupt encounter in the world saw me chase the village asshole talking shit about my family. When his drunkard father catches us arguing, he scolds him more and tells me I should teach him a lesson myself and beat him with a stick. I can choose to partake in it, stand by and watch, or stop the father in a physical altercation. There's been a lot of questions about combat and from what I played, I liked it, moreso than The Witcher 3's. There are two ways to play: directional and traditional. With directional combat, you hold down a shoulder button to block while aiming in whatever direction you see an enemy attacking from. That's either up, down, left or right. It's simpler than something like Kingdom Come and I got used to it real quick. It sometimes got a liiiittle overwhelming when multiple enemies are attacking at the same time - and they do that a lot. Enemies don't wait around for their turn, instead opting to gang up on you to take you down. There's also the traditional or 'standard' combat, which is basically pressing a button that blocks enemies no matter what direction (your standard action game). You can also expectedly parry enemies that open them up for more damage. There is a stamina meter that depletes with blocks, and it depletes faster if you're playing standard, though you can upgrade your stamina as you play too. There are active abilities you can put into quick slots for faster use during combat. As there's a day/night cycle and Coen is a 'dawnwalker' - meaning he's human during the day and a vampire at night, you can switch between your swords in daytime and bring out your claws at night, which are more powerful. There are many abilities, though because I was playing the first hours of the game, I didn't get to see them all. One that I got to use was a powerful charge attack, and another was a flurry of deadly slashes with my claws. You can drain enemies to regain health with 'voracious bite', though enemies won't wait around while you're doing it so you have to be mindful. There are shrines dotted around the map that you can use to fast travel and upgrade your skills. There are tons of resources and items in the world just like The Witcher that you can use to craft potions and the like. Some can only be done during the day or at night. In terms of time progression, there are 8 time 'segments' per day and certain quests and activities can push the time forward a set amount of segments. I thought I would hate it at first, but it actually makes for some compelling choices in how you choose to progress the game. You're always shown when an action will progress time by the way, so nothing will take you by surprise. Running around and exploring the world doesn't push time forward. When your vampiric health drops really low, you become hungry and start to really crave blood. You can even lose control during dialogue and drain the person you're talking to - including friends. I didn't encounter that myself but the devs said those can have lasting effects throughout the game. This has definitely jumped up my most anticipated list for the rest of the year. It's practically The Witcher 3: Medieval Vampire Edition with its own flavor and unique mechanics and honestly...that is something I'm quite happy about. #BloodofDawnwalker

Recently did an interview with the lead developer of Knight's Path on the title's future release and the state of the industry. The Western AAA gaming industry has shifted its focus away from its core audience, favoring products for smaller, less engaged demographics. This shift has led to a noticeable disconnect between large publishers and their traditional fan base. This has, however, created an environment for indies to thrive. They can prioritize authenticity and community, crafting games that resonate with their players and that is exactly the case with Knight's Path. In December of 2023, Knights Path: The Tournament was released to Very Positive reviews on Steam. It is a short medieval RPG featuring challenging combat, an immersive progression system, and a nice little story. It served as an announcement, a combat concept demo, and a teaser for the forthcoming open-world RPG Knight's Path, which is currently in active development. I asked what their plans were regarding the scope of the full release. While you might get the impression that Knight's Path is an arena fighting game, that’s not the case with the full release. "Knight's Path will be a proper open-world, story-driven RPG. Of course, as a small indie team, we’re keeping the scope modest. The open world will be compact but dense, featuring one town, one village, castle ruins, forests, valleys, and other areas to explore." Many gamers would agree it is better to have a limited number of fully fleshed-out areas than to present a gigantic, empty world. This has been a major criticism levied towards recent releases like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and even modern Assassins Creed, which tends to rely on repetitive gameplay loops scattered across an overly large map, which can feel more like busywork than meaningful exploration. I have always believed that quality over quantity is the best way to go. The team has also made this a priority with things such as the story and weapon types. "We plan to include three main weapon types: longsword, sword and shield, and bows. These will feature the full progression system seen in the demo, with skill levels such as Novice, Adept, Expert, and Master. Players will need to learn individual skills from different trainers to progress. In addition, we’re introducing secondary weapons like spears, halberds, and other polearms. These won’t have RPG-style progression but will still offer variety in combat." Regarding the story, they plan to be bold and strive to create a 16-28 hour-long main campaign. "The story will be divided into four chapters, with each chapter offering around 4–7 hours of gameplay. As in the demo, the player character begins as a nobody, slowly learning how to wield a sword and eventually becoming a knight. However, the progression will be much more realistic than in the demo, where the peasant hilariously transformed into a champion in just four days." This is a far cry from many games that are released nowadays. In just 2024 alone at a glance, the AA release Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn provided an average of 8 hours of content, Princess Peach: Showtime at 10 hours, Silent Hill 2 Remake at 15, and even the GOTY winner Astrobot holds an average playtime of 10 hours. A major issue within the industry is the way we are treated by the people who only have jobs because of our favorite hobby. In 2024 the gaming industry is forecasted to generate $208.7 BILLION dollars, up from 5.4% in 2023. Compare that to Hollywood, which is a measly $12.3 billion. The gaming industry employs 727,000 individuals in the United States alone. So, you'd think these people would have a little bit of respect for gamers, though so many who are vocal on social media show nothing but contempt for us. Perhaps this is because of fear if they do not show loyalty to a cause or "fit in" that they may not secure funding or genuinely believe in what they preach, but the team behind Knight's Path isn't worried about that. "We are independent developers, and we plan to stay independent so we can stay true to our vision. Knight's Path is a game made by gamers for gamers. We’re prioritizing fun gameplay above all, and we firmly believe this is exactly what gamers want." I also raised some questions about their big plans moving forward. In the demo, one of the major criticisms I had was with the voice acting. I had guessed it was done via AI, which was confirmed. "You guessed correctly– the voice acting in the demo was done by AI, and it was probably the loudest critique we received, and we totally understand why! Back then, we didn’t have much of a choice, but for the full game, we don’t plan to use any AI voices. Luckily, after the demo release, many voice actors reached out to us, volunteering to lend their voices to the full game. We absolutely plan to answer their call and give them that opportunity." AI can be a useful tool, especially for developers starting out who can't commit a lot of money to voice acting or just want to see a version of the product that's closer to what they envision the full release to be, but going from that to real voice actors will bump the experience to the next level. I myself played the demo in its entirety and really enjoyed my time with it! I thought the game was reminiscent of Gothic 2 and even The Witcher. I was happily surprised when I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches and while some areas have not been fleshed out like the voice acting, I would recommend putting the game on your wishlist to see what this team does in the future when they finally deliver their updated demo and the eventual full release of the game.

“We Raped Your Daughter and Wife in Front of You. You Are Not a Man”: Samer Osman Recounts How a Sudanese Officer Died of Anguish Inside a UAE-Backed Rapid Support Militia Detention Centre In a harrowing video testimony, Samer Osman recounts one of the most painful incidents he witnessed inside a detention centre operated by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Militia in Khartoum. His account centres on a captured Sudanese officer lying on the floor with his hands tightly bound behind his back. According to Osman, a militia member named Abdullah stood before the prisoner and told him: “We raped your daughter and your wife in front of you. Where is your manhood now?” The man laughed and boasted about what he said they had done before telling the bound officer: “You are not a man.” When the officer heard those words, he tried to reach Abdullah despite the restraints holding his hands behind his back. He threw his body forward with whatever strength he had left, falling from side to side as he struggled to stand, defend himself or reach the man boasting about the rape of his family. Abdullah then kicked him in the stomach and face as he lay bound on the ground, and walked away. The words were more painful than the kicks. Osman said the other detainees became enraged when they heard the taunt. They were watching a helpless man being psychologically destroyed while his tormentor laughed and used the reported rape of his wife and daughter to humiliate him. Militia guards opened the detention-cell door and fired at the prisoners, killing eleven of them, according to Osman’s testimony. Eleven men died. Yet Osman said that, at that moment, even the pain of their deaths felt less devastating than the words Abdullah had spoken. Every prisoner understood what the militia was doing. It was attacking the officer’s body, dignity, memory and family at the same time, turning his wife and daughter into instruments of torture and leaving him trapped with the image of them in the hands of men who boasted about abusing them. The officer remained bound in the same position. For three days, he kept his head lowered to the ground and refused food and water. The detainees gave him portions of their meagre food and scarce water, brought the plate close to his face, surrendered their own rations and tried to feed him with their hands. He turned his head away and spat out the food, even when they placed it in his mouth. They remained thirsty so that he could have their water. The other prisoners gathered around a man overwhelmed by trauma and pleaded with him to eat, drink and speak. A religious elder named Sheikh Ali repeatedly came to him, reminding him of God and speaking about faith, goodness and the Quran, trying to hold on to his spirit before it slipped away. After three days, the officer finally said: “I just want to breathe.” Some detainees removed their torn shirts and used them to fan him. They offered him water, and he took one sip before saying that he wanted no more. Osman urged him to speak: “My brother, please talk. Let out what is inside you. Try.” The officer raised his head, looked at him with bloodshot eyes and said: “Leave me alone, everyone. Please, leave me alone.” Then he gave the detainees his final instruction: “Whoever among you gets out alive, I entrust him with seeking justice for my wife and daughter.” When the time came for Fajr, the Muslim dawn prayer, they tried to lift him into a position in which he could pray. The militia had refused to remove his restraints from the moment he was brought into the detention centre. They lifted him upright, and he collapsed onto his right side. They tried to support him again, but he could no longer hold himself up. One prisoner held him while another religious elder, Sheikh Khalid, came to help. “He has become heavy,” Sheikh Khalid said. He touched the officer and then told the others: “May God have mercy on him.” The man died bound at dawn. According to Osman, the officer died from overwhelming anguish and oppression, left alone with the image of his wife and daughter and what the militia member claimed had been done to them. At the time the testimony was recorded, Osman said the detainees still did not know whether the two women were alive, whether the militia had killed them or what had happened to them. The reported rape and their fate remain part of Osman’s testimony, with no independent information available to confirm the details. Osman’s account illuminates the wider system of torture established by the Rapid Support Militia across Khartoum. The militia converted civilian buildings, schools and military facilities into detention centres where prisoners described beatings, starvation, humiliation, psychological torture and executions. It left behind emaciated survivors, burial sites and thousands of families still searching for missing relatives. In March 2025, the Guardian published an investigation from a former militia base near the village of Garri, approximately 70 kilometres north of Khartoum, after the Sudanese military recaptured the site. Journalists found a previously unknown detention centre with shackles hanging from doors, apparent punishment chambers and bloodstains on the floor. Nearby, they discovered an extensive burial ground containing at least 550 unmarked graves, some of which appeared to contain more than one body. The newspaper reported that more than 500 people may have been tortured or starved to death before being buried there. Doctors examined 135 civilians rescued from the detention centre and found widespread signs of torture and chronic malnutrition. Some survivors were unable to walk and had to be carried outside, while many were too traumatised to speak. Satellite imagery showed that the graves appeared after the militia seized the base, and a Human Rights Watch expert said the site could constitute one of the largest atrocity crime scenes discovered in Sudan since the war began. Read the Guardian investigation The Guardian later reported the story of Alwaleed Abdeen, a 35-year-old Sudanese entrepreneur held for six months inside a school that the militia had converted into a prison in Jebel Aulia, south of Khartoum. In the last video recorded after his rescue, Abdeen was so emaciated that his friends struggled to recognise him even after he spoke his name. His bones were visible beneath his skin after months of starvation and torture, and he later died in hospital. Read the Guardian report on Alwaleed Abdeen The individual incident described by Osman still requires an independent investigation, yet its details fit a documented pattern that emerged as the militia was driven from extensive areas of Khartoum, Omdurman and Bahri: secret detention centres, starvation, restraints, beatings, humiliation, deaths in custody and burial grounds beside the places where prisoners were tortured. Those responsible for such acts have stripped themselves of every trace of humanity. Armed thugs were transformed into a military and political project through the continued flow of weapons, money and foreign logistical support. Over the course of Sudan’s war, hundreds of reports, investigations, documented materials, UN findings and official assessments have built an extensive, cumulative record of multifaceted Emirati support for the Rapid Support Militia. This evidence has drawn on flight data, satellite imagery, weapons and ammunition analysis, export documentation, commercial records and witness testimony. Together, these sources have revealed a support system involving weapons, ammunition, drones, military vehicles, financing, logistics, training networks and foreign mercenaries, alongside political, diplomatic and media support that helped the militia sustain its war and crimes against the Sudanese people. The UAE has repeatedly denied providing military support to the militia. This testimony also provides a clear answer to those who try to manufacture a divide between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Sudanese people. Army officers are part of the Sudanese people, drawn from the same homes, neighbourhoods, towns and villages. They and their families have endured the same killings, detention, torture, displacement and abuses inflicted on civilians, and in many cases have faced additional targeting because of their military service. That officer was a Sudanese man, a husband and a father before every other title, and his tragedy formed part of the tragedy of an entire nation. Osman’s testimony also answers a question often asked by those who struggle to understand why Sudanese people continue to fight and mobilise in defence of their cities and homeland. The answer lies inside that detention centre. People fight because they have seen what the Janjaweed, the militias from which the Rapid Support Militia emerged, did when they seized neighbourhoods, homes and the bodies of civilians. They fight so that another bound man will never have to face someone boasting about raping his wife and daughter. They mobilise so that schools do not become prisons, football fields do not become graveyards, homes do not become military barracks, and women are never again used as instruments for torturing their husbands and fathers. After all this, some advocates of political settlements continue asking Sudanese people to negotiate with the militia’s commanders and grant them a new position in government. The meaning of such a proposal is clear: reward armed men for what they have done and return the tormentor to power over his victims through a political agreement. Negotiations can serve specific purposes, including ending the fighting, securing the militia’s disarmament, releasing detainees, determining the fate of the disappeared, opening burial sites to investigation and holding those responsible accountable. A settlement that preserves the militia’s army, influence and share of political power would amount to political surrender before a project built through killing, rape, torture and humiliation. The Sudanese people reject any military or political role for this militia in the country’s future government. That rejection will endure however long the road becomes, even if the war continues for years, because allowing the militia to remain within the state would leave every Sudanese family living under the threat of the detention cell, the torturer and the mass grave. Osman addressed the officer who had died in restraints: “By God, as you lie in your grave, your daughter and wife have been avenged many times over.” Those words carry the pain of a survivor and the anger of an entire people. The justice Sudan needs begins with defeating the militia’s project, disarming it, holding its commanders and perpetrators accountable, confronting those who armed it, and ensuring that it never returns to rule Sudanese people under any name or political settlement. #Sudan #RSFisTerroristOrganization #UAEKillsSudanesePeople #UAESponsorsTerrorism

77 Reasons Why I’ve Invested Over $8,000,000+ in MultiversX (EGLD) and Why EGLD Will Crush It in 2025 (My Investment Thesis). I publicly shared my portfolio on X. EGLD is A) Better than BTC B) Everything that ETH wants to be C) The GameStop of Crypto 1. EGLD is verifiably the most scalable (theoretically unlimited) L1 chain in the world, theoretically capable of over 10 million TPS (thanks to adaptive state sharding). 2. e-Gold is digital gold. It has the best tokenomics among all L1s, similarly scarce to BTC, with a maximum supply of 31.4 million coins. Currently, 27.68 million coins are in circulation. 3. EGLD will be the most decentralized cryptocurrency in the world thanks to sharding and minimal hardware requirements for running nodes. It’s already second only to Ethereum with 3,618 validator nodes. 4. EGLD has extremely low fees, around ~$0.002 per transaction. 5. EGLD is extremely secure. No wallet drains like on ETH/SOL; assets are owned natively (not via a smart contract). There is no MEV risk (front-running bots). 6. EGLD is the only chain in the world with an on-chain Guardian (two-phase verification), making it impossible for a hacker to steal your funds—even if they have your private keys (seed phrase). 7. EGLD is carbon-neutral and eco-friendly, not wasting energy like BTC and other PoW chains. It’s exceptionally efficient, scalable, global, and sustainable. 8. EGLD has the best UX in crypto. Download the xPortal wallet—it’s like discovering Apple in Web3. The interface is simple, flawless, and you barely realize you’re using crypto. Instead of addresses, you use HeroTags. The app features all dApps, everything runs smoothly, and the visuals are beautifully designed. The explorer, web wallet, etc. follow the same high-quality user experience. 9. EGLD supports native assets, unlike Ethereum, for example. 10. EGLD is the first chain to fully implement horizontal (theoretically unlimited) sharding without compromising on decentralization—unlike Solana and others that attempt vertical scaling, leading to multiple network downtimes (11+ times) and huge hardware demands for validators, ultimately harming decentralization. 11. EGLD makes setting up a validator agency extremely easy. Even complete IT beginners can do it. The UX and documentation are superb. I personally set up the “EGLDSqueeze” agency in about 30 minutes. Managing it is straightforward via the web wallet, which feels like managing a Facebook page. This simplifies decentralization enormously. 12. EGLD allows literally anyone (even your grandma) to participate in decentralization, since nodes can run on a Raspberry Pi or a relatively affordable phone. Imagine millions of people worldwide securing the network, validating transactions without even knowing it. This can’t be done with BTC, where setting up profitable mining operations is prohibitively expensive. 13. WASM-Based Virtual Machine: You can write smart contracts in your favorite language, compile them, and run them via the fastest VM in the world. 14. EGLD has been tested at an incredible 263,000 TPS using its sharding mechanism and low hardware requirements. Allegedly, by mid-next year (April), they’ll demonstrate 1,000,000 TPS. (For context: Mastercard handles around 5,000 TPS; BTC handles 5–7 TPS.) 15. EGLD is currently the most advanced L1 in terms of scalability, security, decentralization, UX, eco-friendliness, and tokenomics. It’s the only chain that has genuinely solved the Blockchain Trilemma and is ready to onboard 1 billion people into crypto—users who won’t even realize they’re interacting with crypto. 16. EGLD is perfectly positioned for AI projects—AI agents, AI tools, or a so-called “Truth Machine” that monitors other AIs on-chain, documenting what’s true and comparing different AI outputs (some of which may be censored or biased), ensuring people don’t get confused or scammed in an AI-driven world. 17. The EGLD team is the hardest-working team I’ve ever encountered. I had the honor of meeting many of them personally, and can attest that their pace—even during a bear market—is extraordinary. 18. EGLD’s development team is exceptionally active on GitHub, continually improving their network and actively committing code. 19. EGLD plans to introduce an update reducing block time to 600ms (down from ~6 seconds), which would make the chain essentially unrivaled. 20. EGLD is effectively the only usable L1 in Europe, and the team has direct connections within the EU government—extremely bullish for the project. 21. EGLD provides top-tier on-chain governance not only for the MultiversX (EGLD) protocol but also for DeFi projects (e.g., xExchange, MEX). 22. EGLD plans to expand to the US, likely opening offices in Austin, Texas. This could put them in direct contact with Elon Musk (if it hasn’t happened already), as he’s involved with If he’s done his research, he’d discover there’s simply no better L1 worldwide. 23. EGLD solved fully implemented sharding, perfect tokenomics, and top-tier architecture with just $5M, whereas other chains failed to do so even with $100M+. The second-best sharding network, NEAR, needed $100M, has worse tokenomics, and its sharding isn’t fully implemented yet. Its UX also doesn’t compare. Owning NEAR was like comparing a VW Golf R to a Porsche GT3—EGLD is the Porsche GT3. 24. According to Similarweb, EGLD has significantly high traffic relative to other chains with market caps 100x larger. The market cap vs. web traffic discrepancy is huge, which is a strong indicator of EGLD’s potential. 25. EGLD has the most active and dedicated community relative to its user base, with users who believe in the technology, have full faith in the team, and remain loyal despite price volatility—because they use the chain and know there’s nothing better. 26. Check other chains’ active user counts on X (Twitter) and compare it with the followers of EGLD’s founders and main network accounts, versus those with 30x, 50x, or 100x larger market caps. 27. Visit the MultiversX website to observe the futuristic design and presentation, then compare it to other chains that appear nearly a decade behind in design and branding. 28. EGLD hosts the xDay Global event, showcasing updates, new builders, projects in the ecosystem, and major announcements—similar to Apple’s Keynotes—delivered in a highly professional, goosebump-inducing atmosphere. The next event is in Korea, the second-biggest crypto market after the US. Check out their previous xDay after-movie to see why this is extremely bullish. 29. EGLD is moving forward with plans for the first regulated, audited EU stablecoin under MiCa regulation, made possible by acquiring xMoney, which I view as a “Stripe” for crypto/fiat, offering everything from user solutions to merchant services—potentially the future of payments. 30. Greg Siourouni recently joined EGLD, having been an executive director at SUI Foundation. He’s now co-founder of xMoney Global. xMoney (formerly UTrust, with token UTK) is owned and founded by the MultiversX Labs team. A stablecoin might be introduced soon, which would be massively bullish given xMoney’s roadmap. They recently announced integrations with Binance Pay—both ways. 31. EGLD prioritizes user safety, believing it’s the only feasible approach once the network scales to serve a billion people—many of whom are retail users with little to no security awareness. 32. EGLD offers “Sovereign Chains,” letting you effectively clone their chain without heavy development, set up your own validators, and leverage their unlimited scalability. Any blockchain (ETH, BTC, SOL) struggling with scalability, decentralization, or security could run an ultra-fast, scalable, and secure L2 on EGLD’s Sovereign Chain, meeting top enterprise requirements. No one else has really done this. The Sovereign Chain demo achieved astonishing TPS and has an SDK. 33. No downtime since inception. 34. No shard takeover attacks have occurred. 35. Extremely fast—soon 600ms block time will be in place. 36. ESDTs – The best token standard available: fungible, non-fungible, semi-fungible, DeFi assets—everything is native and highly customizable. 37. Top-tier composability of assets and smart contracts. 38. Integrated DNS at protocol level with HeroTags (nicknames) instead of long addresses. 39. Asynchronous calls are supported. 40. Cross-shard transfers, execution, reverts, and calls are seamlessly integrated. 41. The best staking system in the space. Secure Proof of Stake (SPoS) is far more efficient than Proof of Work (PoW). 42. Built-in Delegation and Staking Provider system, with over 125K delegators. 43. Complete support for liquid staked assets, fostering decentralization rather than centralization. 44. TransferRoles for ESDT and other advanced operations. 45. Integrated crypto opcodes in the VM, enhancing security and performance. 51. Support for BigFloats, BigInts, and BigDecimals, enabling advanced financial calculations on-chain. 52. No sandwich attacks, plus front-running and MEV protection. 53. Relayed Transactions, simplifying user interactions and fees. 54. Smart Accounts featuring data tries and multiple built-in functions. 55. Generalized Paymaster solutions, enabling flexible fee models. 56. Subscriptions for recurring or automated on-chain payments. 57. Web2-like usability with Web3 functionality, bridging mainstream adoption. 58. StakingV4 for improved decentralization. 59. Linear storage on the VM is forthcoming. 68. A dynamic language interpreter at the VM is also planned. 69. Rumors suggest that MultiversX (EGLD) is building a “Truth Machine” on their L1—an essential, game-changing tool for AI verification and societal impact. 70. The entire team features individuals with PhDs in mathematics and physics, and many are former engineers at Google, IBM, and similar companies. 71. Over 56% of the network’s supply is staked, showcasing strong community involvement. 72. More than 6,772,347 accounts have been created on the network. 73. A total of 476,627,710 transactions have been processed on-chain without any outages or hacks. 74. EGLD has built a massive ecosystem over time. While not as numerous in project count as Solana, its market cap is ~100x smaller, yet it has far superior tokenomics and technology. The projects that do exist, like Hatom Protocol, are top-tier in UX, security, and advanced features. Hatom will soon introduce USH, a truly high-quality, decentralized stablecoin. 75. On competing chains, automated transactions aren’t easily or cheaply executed, whereas on MultiversX, tools like let you do this for free (with near-zero fees). 76. No other chain combines such a strong team and long-term vision where every product meets extreme security and UX standards like MultiversX does. This is why I see it as the “next Apple” in Web3. 77. MultiversX has a new CMO – Adam Bates, a former CMO at the Cardano Foundation. He was behind the success of Cardano’s huge marketing campaign and has a very good relationship with Charles Hoskinson. Thanks to him, Beniamin Mincu (the founder of MultiversX) was likely introduced, and now they will probably discuss how both blockchains can help each other, as well as any other potential collaborations we don’t yet know about. This is also extremely bullish. #EGLD is undeniably the most Scalable, Advanced, Secure, and User-friendly L1 supercomputer ever created. It’s built to SHAPE THE FUTURE. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 27/6/2024 - EGLDSqueeze - SUMMARY: HERE IS NO 2ND BEST. EGLD IS ONLY ONE BLOCKCHAIN THAT CAN RULE THEM ALL. ✅ UNLIMITED SCALING ✅ SCARCE AS BTC ✅ PROGRAMMABLE AS ETH ✅ NO DOWNTIME AS SOL ✅ UI/UX OF Apple ✅ SHARDING DONE BEFORE NEAR & TON ✅ BEST WALLET xPortal WITH GUARDIAN Price prediction (NFA|DYOR): My reasoning is that the real market cap as of December 23, 2024...if we take into account the value of other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, SOL, ETH, AVAX, NEAR, TON, Cardano, BNB, XRP, and so forth, plus the existence of meme coins with valuations above 20 billion USD, or even games nobody plays anymore that still have valuations above 800 million shows that EGLD’s current market cap of approximately 942 million USD is incredibly low. From a technological standpoint, user experience, and other relevant aspects, compared to SOL, NEAR, TON, AVAX, and other L1 protocols, EGLD’s market cap should realistically be around 100 billion USD. Therefore, my prediction and investment thesis is a minimum of a 100x increase from its current price (+-SOL marketcap). MultiversX is ready to onboard 1 billion people to the blockchain. From a long-term perspective, it could even reach a market cap of 1 trillion USD, which is roughly half of where BTC is right now. That would be approximately a 1060x gain from the current market cap. 1 EGLD (MultiversX) is for $34 (only 31.4M max supply) think about this. Not financial advice. Again. There is no 2nd best L1. Position yourself where the puck is going, then wait at the goal until the goal gets there Apes together, strong. Ape alone, weak. We Don't Worry. We Just Win. Shape The Future

//The Wire//1500Z November 27, 2025// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: DC SHOOTER IDENTIFIED AS FORMER AFGHAN SOLDIER BROUGHT TO USA AFTER THE FALL OF KABUL. HONG KONG FIRE RESULTS IN DOZENS OF FATALITIES.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- Africa: A military coup was reported yesterday in Guinea-Bissau, with President Umaro Sissoco Embaló being arrested at his residence in Bissau. This follows a few weeks of election issues after the President disqualified his political opponent from the election. Analyst Comment: The fall of Guinea-Bissau is the latest addition to what has been colloquially referred to as the "coup belt", a line of nations stretching east-west across Africa, which have been host to overthrowing their governments over the past five years. Hong Kong: Yesterday a multiple-alarm fire broke out at a series of high-rise apartment buildings that were undergoing renovation in Tai Po. Around one thousand firefighters, medical, and police officers worked to extinguished the fires, which involved 7 of the 8 skyscrapers that comprise the Wang Fuk Court housing project. Concerning casualties, 65x fatalities are confirmed so far, however potentially hundreds of people remain missing as this complex provided housing for roughly 4,000 people. A few hours after the fire broke out, three people who worked for the construction company conducting repairs on the buildings were arrested on suspicion of arson. Analyst Comment: Although several people were arrested, it's not clear as to if this was a deliberate attack or a preventable accident. Right now, locals suspect criminal negligence: the contractor is said to have cut corners during the renovation project, by using highly flammable netting and foam insulation during construction. If this is really what happened, this would explain the rapid spread of the fire to seven different structures. An investigation will be needed to confirm the origin and explain the rapid spread of the fire, but right now this incident bears striking resemblance to the Grenfell Tower fire, which rapidly consumed the London apartment building in a similar manner back in 2017. That incident occurred in nearly the same manner, with highly flammable foam insulation being used to insulate the structure, which caught fire and allowed the flames to spread rapidly. -HomeFront- Washington D.C. - The suspect in yesterday's shooting has been identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a former Afghan soldier who worked with the United States as part of the Afghan intelligence services during the Global War on Terrorism. Ramanullah was granted entry to the United States in 2021 under Operation ALLIES WELCOME, the program to evacuate Afghans who worked with the US government during the occupation. Regarding the attack itself, more details have come to light which help explain how the attack was carried out. Rahmanullah approached the two soldiers with a revolver, shooting one in the head immediately and severely wounding the other. This took both soldiers out of the fight immediately, as neither had time to react. By happenstance, one of their officers (a Major) was walking on foot in their vicinity, conducting an informal spot check of the various security posts set up in the area. This Major was not armed with a service weapon, but was the primary responder at the time of the attack. After the two soldiers were engaged, the Major took up a position of cover and concealment near the shooter. When the shooter stopped firing and began reloading, the Major attacked the shooter with a personally owned pocket knife, stabbing the attacker in the head and torso. As this hand-to-hand engagement was occurring, another armed soldier arrived and engaged the attacker with his firearm, striking the suspect several times in the extremities. From there, a dogpile situation occurred and the attacker was detained. Analyst Comment: Though details will certainly be clarified in due time, at present this appears to be a classic case of everyone doing everything right, and tragedy still being the result. Both soldiers were armed and wearing body armor at the time, however the speed and extremely close range of the attack rendered these tools ineffective. The Major who helped end the attack was not armed as he was not occupying a security post himself, so this is not out of the ordinary. The soldier who was armed and shot the suspect, arrived almost immediately after hearing the shots. Concerning the wounded, yesterday afternoon confusion emerged regarding the status of the soldiers. Governor Morrisey retracted his statement on their condition, as both soldiers have not succumbed to their wounds and still remain in critical condition at local hospitals. Prayers are strongly encouraged all around for their recovery. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: The shooting in Washington also highlights the importance of having fast *and* accurate information during a crisis. Immediately after the shooting, one photo of the suspect being loaded into an ambulance began circulating online. However, some people took this photo and ran it through AI models to clean up the image, as a shaky photo taken with a smartphone from a long distance doesn't usually offer the best image quality. The problem is that the AI models significantly altered the face of the suspect. In short, someone tried to clean up the image with AI, but in doing so, the face of the suspect was slightly altered and no longer looked like him. The effect was subtle, but enough to actually change what the man looked like. This photo spread like wildfire, with everyone craving the higher-resolution photo of the suspect, despite this AI-manipulated photo not actually being accurate. At the height of a terror attack, the primary photo of the suspect that circulated social media...was an AI photoshop job. In most cases, the fact that this image was AI "enhanced" was NOT disclosed...people had no idea they were looking at (and sharing) a manipulated photo. As if this wasn't serious enough, a second wave of AI-manipulated photos hit the timeline shortly after the suspect was identified. The actual photo of the suspect as leaked on social media was a cellphone photo of a computer screen, and not the best quality. So, some journalists took it upon themselves to manipulate yet another photo of the suspect, which once again changed details of the suspect's face. In this case, the AI-model was a little more accurate, and did a better job of cleaning up a poor-quality image, but the concerns still stand...no one disclosed that this image was generated by AI, and based on a different photo. Sometimes, we have to be content with the information that we have at the time of a crisis. Not everything can be in 4k ultra-high resolution, and right now all AI models have shown weaknesses in producing false information at times. This would be very wise to consider as this situation is very likely to happen again; some fugitive wanted by police might only have one or two blurry photos to share with the media. And if the media decide to alter the photos themselves, changing the physical features of the suspect, the public will be on the lookout for the wrong man. During the heat of the moment, the fast-paced nature of an emergency might result in the internet not realizing that AI-models are being used by people who are not disclosing it. During a crisis, photos of suspects are often released very quickly, especially if there are continued threats. These photos are usually never high resolution or perfect quality, but due to the speed at which the public must be aware of something, authorities share what information they have at the time. If journalists are going to start taking the photos given to them by the police, and running those photos through AI models before publishing them to the public...this is a major problem. This has been a concern for some time, however now the proof is in the pudding. In effect, this was a test that most people on the internet failed. It is not just theoretically possible for inaccurate and manipulative AI-generated content to slip in during a real-time disaster...this case proves that it already happened, and very few people noticed. If we recall, this exact same situation has already happened as well. In the hours after the Charlie Kirk shooting, for example, AI-manipulated renderings of the suspect circulated more widely than the official photos as released by the FBI. In that case, a wanted fugitive was actively being sought, and the fake photos of the suspect circulated more widely than the official photos. People want pretty pictures, but this is almost never the reality of emergencies that are in progress. Nevertheless, the nature of engagement farming on social media often impacts the situation, as AI-created content is often more desirable than the truth. As such, when it comes to future emergencies, one of the major concerns will now be imagery of a suspect or a crime scene, which may be heavily manipulated by AI. Like seemingly everyone on this app I have plenty of opinions about Twitter > X and figure now is a good time to open up a bit about my experience at the company. I tweeted for years into the void for the love of it like many of you, but after selling my startup to Twitter in 2020 I finally got to see it from the inside. Up close it was both amazing and terrible, like so many other companies and things in life. As someone with a maniacal sense of urgency built into me, Twitter often felt siloed and bureaucratic. Dumb power plays, reorgs and team name changes for the sake of someone’s ego were distractions that occurred too regularly. You couldn’t just be a builder — you also needed to be a politician. I was shocked by how old and bespoke the infrastructure was, but there was little will to think beyond quarterly earnings calls because we were all beholden to the masters of mDAU and revenue growth as a public company. It often felt like things were held together with duct tape and glue, and that many people had just accepted that a small product change could take months or quarters to build. Management had become bloated to accommodate career growth and the company culture felt too soft and entitled for my own taste. Healthy debate and criticism was replaced by a default refrain of “no, that can’t be done” or “another team owns that so don’t touch it”. Teams could spend months building a feature and then some last-minute kerfuffle meant it’d get killed for being too risky. Just talking directly to customers could turn into a turf war and create deadlocks between functions. I recall one such episode where a teammate spent a month trying to get clearance to reach out to some creators. He went through 3 layers of management and 6 different functional teams. In the end 4 executives were involved in the approval. It was insanity, and unfortunately I saw several top performers get burnt out and demoralized after exhausting experiences like that. Most people were good at their jobs but it was nearly impossible to fire poor performers — instead they got shuffled around to other teams because few managers had the will or resources to figure out how to get them out. A high performance culture pulls everyone up, but the opposite weighs everyone down. Twitter often felt like a place that kept squandering its own potential, which was sad and frustrating to see. The person who was best at cutting through the BS and inspiring a vision during my tenure was Kayvon Beykpour, but he wasn’t fully empowered to run the company since he wasn’t the CEO. Despite those real issues, I was lucky enough to work with some of the most talented people in the business at Twitter in product, design, engineering, research, legal, BD, trust & safety, marketing, PR and more. Often it was a small cross-functional team of intrinsically motivated people who made the biggest impact by challenging some core assumption. Those teams were very fun to be on but they felt like the exception rather than the rule. The months of waiting for the deal to close in 2022 were particularly slow and painful; it felt like leadership hid behind lawyers and legal language as all answers about the company’s future notoriously included the phrase “fiduciary duty”. Colleagues openly talked about how Twitter was being sold because leadership didn’t have conviction in their own plan or ability to fix longstanding problems. Although I didn’t know much about Elon I was cautiously optimistic – I saw him as the guy who built incredible and enduring companies like Tesla and SpaceX, so perhaps his private ownership could shake things up and breathe new life into the company. My take on what’s happened since then is full of lived nuance. When people ask why I stayed it’s easy to answer: optimism, curiosity, personal growth and money. From the beginning I saw that some changes Elon was going to make were smart and others were stupid, but when I’m on a team I uphold the philosophy of “praise in public and criticize in private”. I was far from a silent wallflower. I shared my opinions openly and pushed back often, both before and after the acquisition. I made peace with the fact that I didn’t have psychological safety at Twitter 2.0 and that meant I could be fired at any moment, and for no reason at all. I watched it happen repeatedly and saw how negatively it impacted team morale. Although I couldn’t change the situation I did my best to shine a light on folks who were doing important work while being an emotionally supportive leader for those who were struggling to adapt to the more brutalist and hardcore culture. In person Elon is oddly charming and he’s genuinely funny. He also has personality quirks like telling the same stories and jokes over and over. The challenge is his personality and demeanor can turn on a dime going from excited to angry. Since it was hard to read what mood he might be in and what his reaction would be to any given thing, people quickly became afraid of being called into meetings or having to share negative news with him. At times it felt like the inner circle was too zealous and fanatical in their unwavering support of everything he said. When individuals encouraged me to be careful about what I said I politely thanked them and said I would not be taking their advice. I had no interest in adding to a culture of fear or walking on eggshells around Elon. Either he would respect me for being real or he could fire me. Either outcome was okay. I quickly learned that product and business decisions were nearly always the result of him following his gut instinct, and he didn’t seem compelled to seek out or rely on a lot of data or expertise to inform it. That was particularly frustrating for me since I believed I had useful institutional knowledge that could help him make better decisions. Instead he'd poll Twitter, ask a friend, or even ask his biographer for product advice. At times it seemed he trusted random feedback more than the people in the room who spent their lives dedicated to tackling the problem at hand. I never figured out why and remain puzzled by it. I don’t think things had to be as difficult or dramatic as they turned out to be but I can’t say I’d bet against Elon or count him out. He’s smart and has enough money to make a lot of mistakes and then course correct when things go awry. As the largest shareholder he can tank the value in the short-term, but eventually he’ll need things to turn around. His focus on speed is incredible and he’s obviously not afraid of blowing things up, but now the real measure will be how it get reconstructed and if enough people want the new everything app he is building. I learned a ton from watching Elon up close – the good, the bad and the ugly. His boldness, passion and storytelling is inspiring, but his lack of process and empathy is painful. Elon has an exceptional talent for tackling hard physics-based problems but products that facilitate human connection and communication require a different type of social-emotional intelligence. Social networks are hard to kill but they’re not immune from death spirals. Only time will tell what the outcome will be but I hope X finds its footing because competition is good for consumers. In the meantime, I have a lot of empathy for the employees who are working tirelessly behind the scenes, the advertisers who want a stable platform to sell their stuff on, and the customers who are experiencing chaotic updates. It’s been a madhouse. Twitter moved at the speed of molasses and suffered from bureaucracy but now X is run by a mercurial leader whose instinct is driven by the unique and undoubtedly weird experience of being the biggest voice on the platform. Many of you know me from the sleeping bag incident where I slept on a conference room floor, so I figure, let’s talk about that too. Going viral was an odd and interesting experience. I was attacked by people on the left and called a billionaire bootlicker, while simultaneously being attacked by people on the right for being a working mom who was demonized as an example of a woman choosing her career over her family. Thankfully I can laugh at myself and I don’t take armchair keyboard ideologues too seriously. Being the main character on the timeline, even for a few minutes, requires a thick skin and a strong sense of self. The real story is pretty simple. I was given a nearly impossible deadline for his first project and as the product lead I would never ask anyone to do anything I wasn’t willing to do myself. So I worked round the clock alongside an amazing team spanning many timezones, and we delivered it on schedule – truly against the odds. It was intense but also fun. Those first few months were wildly crazy but I wanted to be there and I have no regrets. Showing up and giving it your all should, in most cases, be celebrated. Obviously you can’t work at that pace forever but there are moments where bursts are mission critical. I’ve pulled many all-nighters in my career and also when I was a student for something that mattered to me. I don’t regret putting in long hours or being ambitious, and feel proud of how far I’ve come from where I started thanks in part to that type of work ethic. I think of life as a game, and being at Twitter after the acquisition was like playing life at Level 10 on Hard Mode. Since I like taking on difficult challenges I found it interesting and rewarding because I was growing and learning so rapidly. I realize our society today trends toward polarization but when it comes to this app, its owner, and its future, I am neither a fangirl nor a hater — I’m an optimistic pragmatist. This may really irritate the internet but you cannot pigeonhole me into some radical position of either loving or hating every change that’s occurred. I escaped my fundamentalist upbringing and am a free thinker these days. Everyone can be seen as both a hero or a villain, depending on who is telling what angle of the story. Elon doesn’t deserve to be venerated or vilified. He’s a complicated person with an unfathomable amount of financial and geopolitical power which is why humanity needs him to err on the side of goodness, rather than political divisiveness and pettiness. I disagree with many of his decisions and am surprised by his willingness to burn so much down, but with enough money and time, something new & innovative may emerge. I hope it does. Sometimes I get asked about how I felt when I got laid off, and the truth is it was the best gift I’ve ever received. Sure the headlines and punchlines wrote themselves but I was battle hardened by then. I knew that I’d worked in a way where I could walk out with my head held high. I have no bitterness about the Product Management team being dismantled, and it made sense for me to exit as nearly all of the remaining PMs were let go. Going on a sabbatical afterward has been exactly what I needed to decompress and I’m finally feeling rested and relaxed. I’m a creative and a builder, so sooner than later I’ll jump back into a high intensity company but I’m grateful for this season of thinking, reading, traveling and being with people I love. After having time to reflect I believe more than ever that the very best outcomes flow from great leadership that combines the head and the heart. I’d be remiss if I didn’t note that in all of this there is also a cautionary tale for anyone who succeeds at something — which is that the higher you climb, the smaller your world becomes. It’s a strange paradox but the richest and most powerful people are also some of the most isolated. I found myself frequently looking at Elon and seeing a person who seemed quite alone because his time and energy was so purely devoted to work, which is not the model of a life I want to live. Money and fame can create psychological prisons which may worsen mental health conditions. We’ve all seen high profile cases of celebrities who end up with some combination of depression, paranoia, delusions of grandeur, mania and/or erratic behavior. Living in an echo chamber is dangerous and being at the top makes a person even more susceptible to being surrounded by yes people when nearly everyone around you is on the payroll and somehow stands to benefit from being in your orbit. Figuring out how to keep “better angels” around in the form of family, friends, and teammates is critical to staying on the rails and enduring intense ups and downs. Everyone needs to hear hard truths sometimes and if you fire all the people who speak up then the reality distortion field may just turn into a vortex. I was drawn to Twitter because I’m obsessed with the problem of loneliness and connection between people. I find it fascinating & troubling that humans are getting lonelier as we simultaneously create a world that’s both safer and wealthier. I don’t believe that trade-off has to exist, which is why I keep returning to that theme in my personal and professional life. I realize this is too long of a tweet but Twitter was a weird and special place on the internet, and I’m grateful to have played a teeny tiny role in its story and evolution. I’m here for whatever comes next — on this app and in new places. Consumer social is very much alive and at a fascinating juncture, so I’ll be watching and participating and sharing hot takes because I don’t want to, and probably can’t, turn that part of me off. Perhaps X becomes a resounding success. Or it fails epically. Either way, I expect it will continue to be a very entertaining ride. 🫡

Ch. 14 of NITRO: The Inside Story of Hulk Hogan's heel turn - #OTD 30 Years Ago (7/7/96)! AS DAY BECAME NIGHT at the Sullivan home, Bollea deliberated his participation in the pay-per-view. “Everybody was telling him that it was the wrong thing to do,” Kevin Sullivan says. “He was getting booed out of the arena, but they were all saying, ‘this is gonna kill him’.” With no end to the discussion in sight, the wily booker casually suggested that Bollea and Young make use of his two guest rooms until the morning. “I isolated [them],” Sullivan admits. “I was just afraid that at the last minute, he was going to use his creative control [clause] and pull out.” If Sullivan could deliver Bollea to the arena by showtime, the finish of the match called for Hogan to star in the most dramatic of surprise endings. In a sequence devised by Kevin Nash, an unannounced Hulkster would shockingly interfere in the match, but only after the heels gained an unfair advantage through cheating. It would be a brilliant misdirection, Nash thought, as fans would instinctively believe Hogan’s appearance to be in support of the babyface team. “I knew there were gonna be 55 different ideas,” Nash says, thinking back to the eve of the event, “[so] I actually put a lot of thought into it. I called Scott [Hall] two or three days before that, and said ‘what do you think about this?’ “We had to make it a 2-on-2 match with Lex Luger getting injured [during the match] and going out. We would cheat to get Macho [Man] in trouble and all of a sudden Hulk comes down, which of course would mean ‘ok, here comes Hulk to make the save’. [Hall] said, ‘I love it’.” There was, however, the looming possibility that Bollea could reject his turn at the eleventh hour. Thinking ahead, Eric Bischoff developed a contingency plan in which Sting would play the role, ultimately revealing himself - despite not having prior experience with the WWF - as the ‘third man’ instead. “I remember Eric came in to the locker room,” recalls Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell, “and said [to Sting], ‘I wanna talk to you about something’. I could hear them going over the idea, and then when they got done, Sting told me what they were talking about. He said that [Eric said], ‘there are only two guys that could turn heel where it would really matter’. That would be Hogan and Sting.” “He was offering Sting the job first, [as I recall], and Sting didn’t wanna do it. He didn’t really say it wouldn’t work, but he just said, ‘it doesn’t intrigue me. I don’t wanna do it’.” According to Andre Freitas, a special effects artist who worked in costume design and character development for WCW, the proposed Sting swerve was to involve the use of a doppelganger - or ‘phony’ Sting - presumably in an effort to fool fans that the real character had switched sides. “That was their original plan,” says Freitas. “Eric showed me a picture of Jeff Farmer (a lower-card wrestler) and said ‘can you make him Sting?’ I told him that they have similar bodies...then we looked at Sting’s hair and Jeff’s hair...and talked about all that stuff. I did a head cast for [Farmer] and some prosthetic and test make-ups. But when they secured Hogan, we didn’t do [the angle].” ----------- Amazingly, even as Bash at the Beach began, Bischoff continued to consider Plan B. “I remember walking by this perforated wall in the Ocean Center,” divulges Nash, “and Eric said to me, ‘Hulk is with Sullivan, and he’s not sure he’s gonna do it yet’. It was up in the air.” Meanwhile, viewers of the pay-per-view - and, for that matter, WCW’s own production staff - speculated as to the identity of the third man. “They were trying to ‘work’ everyone,” asserts Jason Douglas, a WCW producer backstage at his first pay-per-view event. “‘Rocket’ (staff member Rick Sancher) came up to me - they were kinda testing me because I was new on the road - and said ‘hey, I think it’s gonna be [WWF wrestler] Bret Hart’. I guess it was to see if I would leak something, and so I was just like ‘oh, cool, Bret Hart’.” In reality, aside from Bischoff, Bollea, Young, Hall, Nash and Sullivan, the turn would be concealed from everyone - even the announcers, according to orders from Bischoff - as to ensure their most realistic reactions. With less than an hour before the main event began, production staffer Woody Kearce discovered a revealing clue in the parking lot. A Hulk Hogan motorcycle had appeared mysteriously in one of the spaces, sparking another round of backstage conjecture. Finally, with what Sullivan recalls as “thirty minutes” and Bischoff remembers as “forty-five to sixty minutes” left on the air, Bollea belatedly arrived at the Ocean Center. The mood suddenly changed. Upon realizing that his star had been convinced, Bischoff began to relax. “Once he got to the building, I recall a sense of calm,” he reveals. “All of the anxiety, all of the tension, all of the worry, all of the effort to make sure things stayed quiet...all of that just kind of dissipated. It was like fog lifting when the sun comes out - it all just went away. I was thinking, ‘it is what it is, there’s nothing more I can do...so let’s just roll with it’.” To cement the turn, Bollea knew, he would have to deliver a monumental post-match promo to explain his actions. While typically, he enjoyed using Bischoff as a sounding board to rehearse interviews, the need for complete privacy - on this occasion - was unquestionably paramount. And so, away from prying eyes - and ears - the two met up in the most unglamorous of clandestine locations - a utility closet. In the midst of the run-through, Bischoff stopped to emphasize an important point: When you grab that microphone, I want you to say...‘this is the beginning of the new...world...order’. The phrase - ‘new world order’ - lingered auspiciously in the air. Bischoff surprised himself with the utterance, realizing slowly that the term encapsulated everything that the invasion storyline could represent. In 1990, then-president George H.W. Bush famously utilized the same expression in a speech to Congress, although its origin could actually be traced back to the 28th President, Woodrow Wilson. But if Bischoff was unsure as to the source of his spontaneous inspiration, perhaps the answer could be found closer to home - on the preceding Nitro, just six days earlier, announcer Larry Zybysko serendipitously made the following proclamation: “This Sunday, I promise you, there will be a new world order of wrestling…” Fans at the Ocean Center waited anxiously to see if Zybysko’s prophecy would materialize; for after all the hoopla, it was suddenly time for the main event. Before the opening bell, the audience was already on its feet for ring announcer@Michael_Buffer’s pre-match introductions. As Hall and Nash sauntered to the ring for The Hostile Takeover match, Buffer set the scene with theatrical aplomb: “Ladies and gentleman, at this time, let me introduce the men whose plan and goal is to takeover the WCW with force and hostility. We were told there would be three of these interlopers, and I must apologize as I have been informed - as you can see - there are only two. Ladies and gentleman, introducing...the Outsiiiiiders!” In a moment that played off perfectly on television, Sting’s entrance music began - and quickly ended - as ‘Mean Gene’ Okerlund traipsed cautiously into the ring. After exchanging quizzical looks with Buffer and referee Randy Anderson, Okerlund confronted the Outsiders to get some answers, an inspired plot device designed to build the tension even further. “Gentleman,” began Okerlund, “if I could have your attention...I don’t have police protection with me at this time, but I wanna confront you in front of this full house here at the Ocean Center, and millions of others watching across the country and around the world. I don’t see three men here tonight. Where is your partner?” Responding in a manner consistent with their WWF characters, Hall and Nash assured Okerlund that the third man was present - and ready. “Let me tell you something,” announced a confident Nash, “we got enough to handle it right now, right here.” Once more, Sting’s entrance music blared from the arena speakers, this time preceding the man himself, accompanied by Luger and Savage. “Here we go!” screamed color commentator Bobby Heenan as the wrestlers passed an unusually large contingent of security personnel on the entrance way. “The war is on!” Less than two minutes into the bout, Luger collapsed to the outside, a move in accordance with Nash’s plan to even the sides before the climactic reveal. “Now it’s two against two!” yelled Heenan. After a brief delay, the concerned crowd looked on as Luger left the arena on a stretcher, leaving Sting and Savage alone to fight valiantly for WCW. As the match progressed, the contemptible Outsiders used every trick to stall their opponent’s momentum, until a revitalized Savage began a furious rally at the fifteen-and-a-half minute mark. The invaders were suddenly down, but not out - as with the referee distracted, Nash landed a low-blow to bring the Macho Man to his knees. All four men lay on the canvas, exhausted, as referee Anderson started a ten count. As Anderson yelled ‘ONE’, several rows of spectators rose to their feet. Within seconds, the reaction diffused from section to section, the noise level increasing with each passing beat. On the live broadcast, viewers at home caught glimpse of a familiar figure making his way down the ramp. “Hulkamania!” screamed Dusty Rhodes on commentary while Hogan walked methodically towards the ring. Noticeably, the Hulkster seemed oddly disaffected - even out-of-character - but after exchanging the briefest of glances with the crowd, he continued stride with the din reaching fever pitch. “Whose side is he on?” bellowed Heenan, a question that seemed inexplicable given the history of Hogan’s on-screen persona. “Whose side is he on?” repeated Heenan, who as longtime fans could recall, had opposed Hogan for years as a manager in the WWF. For that reason, the comment flew over the heads of most (but not all) viewers; meanwhile, the live crowd was cheering as if their team had won the World Series. Nash and Hall retreated to the floor as Hogan tore off his shirt, an apparent signal that the archetypal good guy was here to save the day again. “Who’s bad now boys?” taunted play-by-play man Tony Schiavone on commentary, confident that WCW’s honor was no longer in jeopardy. Savage lay prone on the mat as Hogan surveyed the scene. Above the cheapest of cheap seats, peeking through a curtain with palpable anticipation, was Eric Bischoff. “I knew that something big was about to happen,” he recalls. “It was either gonna be a big failure, or a big success.” Seemingly out of nowhere, with his unsuspecting devotees enveloped in celebration, Hulk backed up to the corner. With the coldness of a serial killer, the once-honorable hero shockingly shoved referee Anderson, and executed his patented finishing move - the leg drop - to the helpless Macho Man below. The audience became completely, utterly unglued. “I was standing back with the announcers,” remembers Michelle Baines, newly hired as a production assistant. “One of the producers turned to me and said, ‘you need to go to the back’. “‘I said, ‘what do you mean?’ “She said, ‘it’s gonna get ugly real quick’.” “She was right - the crowd turned ugly quick.” In retrospect, it was clear that even as Hogan’s body approached the canvas - contact with Savage just milliseconds away - the gravity of the assault started to hit home. “What has he done?” questioned a crestfallen Rhodes, “is he the third man? What the hell is going on here?” Heenan was even more direct - “Hulk Hogan has betrayed WCW! He is the third man in this picture!” A breathless Schiavone could barely muster more than three words: Oh My God, he repeated. Oh My God, he continued, as Hogan high-fived a grinning Hall and Nash. The courageous Sting, stumbling to his feet to stop the injustice, was quickly dispatched, and in the coup de grace, Hogan tossed Anderson to the floor. Sardonically, he covered Savage for the pin, the contest now clearly a farce. “I hope you love it,” a disappointed Rhodes wailed on commentary. “You just sold your soul to the devil.” The third man was a mystery no more, and Hall, Nash, and Hogan raised their hands in victory to a genuinely astonished audience. The immediate outrage, which first gave way to shock, was now inspiring unmitigated rage. Simultaneously, the evil trio continued to taunt, pose, and antagonize while the announcers lamented WCW’s future. As Sting and Savage hobbled back to the locker room, a visibly distraught Okerlund returned to conduct an explanatory interview, based around the one Hogan and Bischoff had mapped out earlier. “Mean Gene,” commanded Hogan, “the first thing you need to do is to tell these people to shut up if you wanna hear what I gotta say.” For the next four minutes, Hogan rationalized his turn with remarkable clarity. “The first thing you gotta realize, brother, is this right here is the future of wrestling. You can call this the new...world...order of wrestling. These two men right here came from a great big organization up north, and everybody was wondering who the third man was. Well, who knows more about that organization than me, brother? I made that organization a monster. I made people rich up there. I made the people that ran that organization rich up there. And when it all came to pass, the name Hulk Hogan, the man Hulk Hogan, got bigger than the whole organization!” Bischoff watched from his secretive seat in amazement - he had not seen, nor had anyone, this intensity of emotion on display at a wrestling show before. It was almost as if the assembled masses had lost themselves in the performance, perhaps even forgetting, if only for a moment, that they were witnesses to a pre-determined event. Hogan’s actions had ostensibly interrupted their critical faculties; in other words, they had suspended their disbelief by reacting to the incident as if it were real. Moreover, the shock was manifesting in the most volatile ways imaginable, as in an incident edited out of future showings of the pay-per-view, a rather large man, likely intoxicated, ran into the ring before being knocked down by Hall and Nash. Concurrently, a stream of debris rained down from the stands, with one object hitting Okerlund, and the rest filling the ring in a stunningly unique visual. Hogan continued as the trash piled up around him, even referencing Ted Turner in his diatribe: “Billionaire Ted promised me movies brother. Billionaire Ted promised me millions of dollars. And Billionaire Ted promised me world caliber matches. And as far as Billionaire Ted, Eric Bischoff, and the entire WCW goes, I’m bored brother! That’s why I want these two guys here, these so-called Outsiders. These are the men I want as my friends. They are the new blood of professional wrestling, and not only are we going to take over the whole wrestling business...with Hulk Hogan, the new blood and the monsters with me, we will destroy everything in our path, Mean Gene.” “Look at all the crap in this ring,” responded Okerlund. “This is what’s in the future for you if you want to hang around the likes of this man Hall, and this man Nash.” Hogan raised his finger as if to stop the interviewer midstream, the perfect line instantly coming to mind. “As far as I’m concerned, all this crap in the ring represents these fans out here,” he boomed defiantly. “For two years, I held my head high,” ranted Hogan, alluding to his rather uninspired WCW tenure. “I did everything for the charities. I did everything for the kids. And the reception I got when I came out here, you fans can stick it brother! Because if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, you people wouldn’t be here. If it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff would still be selling meat from a truck in Minneapolis. And if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, all of these ‘Johnny come latelys’ that you see out here wrestling wouldn’t be here. I was selling the world out, brother, while they were bumming gas to put in their car to get to high school!” In closing, Hogan foreshadowed the future state of affairs in WCW with a prophetic preview of coming storylines: “With Hulk Hogan and the new world organization of wrestling, brother...me and the new blood by my side...whatcha gonna do when the new world organization runs wild on you? Whatcha gonna do? What are you gonna do??” Despite mistakenly bungling the ‘new world order’ phrase at the conclusion of his speech, Hogan still provided the perfect punctuation to a sensational heel turn. His promo, inarguably the most dynamic of his career, came across as strikingly authentic (“it felt real, because it was real’,” offered a proud Eric Bischoff upon reflection years later). On commentary, Schiavone - who most inspiredly suggested that Hogan had planned to double-cross WCW all along, since his debut in 1994 no less - added to the realism with some mournful final comments: “We have seen the end of Hulkamania,” he grieved. “Hulk Hogan, you can go to hell! We’re outta here. Straight to hell.” ---- To the layman, there appeared an obvious explanation for the feverous crowd response that accompanied Hogan’s turn. Clearly, the element of surprise - one of the key elements of Nitro’s success - had been exploited to a masterful degree (“nobody on earth thought that the third man was going to be Hulk Hogan,” highlights Nash). To Kevin Sullivan, however, there were several layers of story at play. “People thought that it was an invasion from the WWF,” he begins, implying that the success of the angle could be correlated to its realism. “They really bought into it, and when Hogan turned heel...they were sure of it. “So while Hogan gets the credit for the reaction, it was [Nash and Hall] who set the whole thing up. Those guys built the foundation of heat, and when Hogan came down, it just blew up.” “We were red hot coming off WWF television,” agrees Nash, “and then you had the biggest turn in the world on top of that. The biggest babyface of all-time finally turned heel!” To the ever-meticulous Sullivan, always a keen observer of the nuances present in a wrestling angle, an often overlooked element was also noteworthy. “He did it to Randy [Savage],” the booker emphasizes, speaking of Hogan’s betrayal. “People knew there was real-life heat there. That helped out too, but everyone played an intricate part. “Lightning...you can’t catch it in a bottle but one time.” The above is an excerpt from the book, NITRO: The Incredible Rise and Inevitable Collapse of Ted Turner's WCW. "We loved our daughter and we wanted to help her." ~Tim Gallaudet This is way too long but I hope you enjoy it. As far as Steven Greenstreet 🐷's posts about the Gallaudets, hauntings and psychics? First off, Tim Gallaudet's wife, "was also a Naval Academy graduate and a master’s recipient from Scripps, having earned her degree in 2001." Source: We know the resume of retired Rear Admiral and oceanographer, Tim Gallaudet, but what about his wife, Caren? She's a big part of this story, so any journalist covering it would want you to know a little something about her. But not Greenstreet, who is, as I said, not a journalist. He leaves out any detail that doesn't fit his debunker, mocking narrative. And he just blocked me. Good. Trash. More... “(My wife Caren) is an inspiration to me, first because she was a Navy diver, and you don’t need to say more. And second, she was a Navy diver as a female during a time when it was not easy. In the late 1980s/early 1990s there was a lot of sexual harassment in the Navy.” ~RDML Tim Gallaudet ~~~ This episode of "The Dead Files," S6E8 ("You Will Be Mine") aired May 20th, 2016. Caren: "People think I'm crazy but it's hard to do battle with an enemy you don't understand. There are things moving around the house. We're hearing voices. We've all had nightmares. We've seen full apparitions. Now things are getting physical." (I would liked to have heard more about full apparitions and exactly who saw them. Having multiple witnesses to alleged phenomena is important. And yes, people will think you're crazy but screw 'em. People have been experiencing this type of phenomena all over the world. At the time this was shot (2015 or 2016), their oldest of three daughters, Laurel, was 14, Aspen was 8, and the youngest, Cedar, was 6.) Caren: "My husband works for the Department of Defense and he travels a lot, so he's rarely here." (They bought the property in 2007 but the odd activity in the house didn't start until Cedar turned 3.) Caren: "Cedar has drawn pictures. This is the man with the brown arms. He lives in her room in her closet. This one she saw in my bathroom, it was a man covered with blood. And I have a book with over 40 drawings. She has become anxious and depressed." (Why didn't the family bring her to a psychiatrist or psychologist first before immediately seeking out a medium? What? They did? Why didn't hack Greenstreet tell us that? Because his goal is to make anybody connected to UFO disclosure look bad.) Caren: "We've seen psychiatrists, psychologists. They all say she's a normal little girl. But she says things that 5 and 6 year old children should not be saying. I love her with all my heart but, at times, I don't know who she is." How is Caren handling it? Caren: "Not very well. When I'm alone, I do a lot of crying. I feel isolated, I feel exhausted." (The kids fight and the older sisters blame Cedar for what's going on. That fighting may be related to the phenomena. Watch the video clip I included below for context. ~~~ Caren: "We're wiling to do whatever it takes. We're ready." (My take: It's obvious they were desperate for help in a situation where nobody else was offering up anything to fix the problem. So they turned to an alleged medium, Amy Allan, and former NYPD homicide investigator, Steve DiSchiavi, who were part of a TV show, "The Dead Files." I am NOT a fan of those types of shows and I would tell people to avoid them if they had a problem like what the Gallaudet's described. But I wasn't in their shoes so who knows what I might have done to get help for the people I love? Luckily, I've never had to deal with a situation like that.) Caren: "I was in the kitchen, and I opened the cupboard. And before doing anything, all the dishes and the bowls fell on top of me." (Sounds like poltergeist activity. And when I say poltergeist, I don't necessarily mean a ghost, spirit, etc. If you read Dr. Barry Taff's book, "Aliens Above, Ghosts Below," he talks about something called Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis, or RSPK. The term was coined by parapsychologist, the late Dr. William Roll. The theory is that the paranormal activity taking place is originating from one of the people in the house. Usually, a young, adolescent boy or girl. "After receiving a report of poltergeist-like activities, two investigators from the Rhine visited a site and observed disturbances that were classified as Recurrent Spontaneous Psychokinesis or RSPK. RSPK is the modern interpretation of what was previously called poltergeist activity. It occurs when an individual – in this case an adolescent boy – is present in every case where a poltergeist-like effect is observed. The activity is interpreted as the result of unconscious psychokinesis activities coming from the individual who is called the PK-Agent." Source: ~ Here's a transcription of the video clip I included below: Parapsychologist Dr. Barry Taff: "The original belief, regarding poltergeist, was that they were, basically, mischievous, prank-playing ghosts. That's what the German word means. The modern theorist in parapsychology consider a quite different type of belief system is operating here, or phenomena is operating. They believe that there are young children present, pubescent, adolescent children, and the research tends to support this belief. These young children are present with a lot of emotional animosities, belligerence, a lot of very intense interactions. And this emotional interaction will produce an emission of unconscious energy from these children, which will affect matter, objects around them. Make them move, affect electrical appliances, make them turn on and off. Make things speed up and slow down, affect televisions, affect radios. Dishes may explode, furniture may move across the room, cameras may go off by themselves, light bulbs may explode suddenly." ~ "A person-focused poltergeist tends to (but not always) involve a female adolescent who is suffering from emotional turmoil when the activity begins. That said however, not all so called 'focal agents' are teenagers. Indeed, William G. Roll, a pioneer in poltergeist research, found the age of people reporting experiences of poltergeist activity ranged from eight to 78 years." Source: ~~~ (That may explain what went on in the Gallaudet home but it's still not accepted by mainstream science as a valid theory. Unfortunately, Allan (the alleged medium) didn't offer up any alternative explanations for the paranormal activity in the home and focused solely on the alleged spirts of dead people as the answer. She thought Cedar was a physical medium who could cause that type of activity to occur, but again, 100% related it to the spirits of dead people, without offering any other explanation. IMO, it's possible one of the girls (or Caren) is a PK-Agent and this had nothing to do with spirits. Then again, maybe it IS connected to non-physical entities? Spirits of the dead? Keel's ultraterrestrials, who he believed impersonated the dead? A mix? Something different? Impossible to prove, either way. So, I don't know. But I DO believe SOMETHING anomalous was going on. If you want an example of how an alleged haunting, ghost or poltergeist case should be investigated, watch this. The clip I attached at the end is from this video. If these folks were still doing investigations, I'd refer anybody who was dealing with this type of situation to them.) "We don't consider our pictures proof of anything, we consider them part of the struggle to gather evidence to try to understand this phenomena." ~Kerry Gaynor Watch it... 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼 ~~~ Caren: Also, "my daughter, Laurel, and I were right here having a conversation. And all of a sudden she screamed. She said, 'Someone just touched me on my back.' And there was no one else in the room." The bedroom... Caren: "I was woken by a noise. Immediately, I looked to the door and saw a giant, black shadow coming at me from the door. It came over the bed and came straight over top of me. I was scared to death. I've never been that scared in my life." (This is very similar to what happened to people who visited Skinwalker Ranch (and other locations) and reported taking "something" home with them. Also known as the hitchhiker effect. ) Caren: "I was asleep and I felt a hand grab my hair and yank me up. It was a very aggressive pull. I screamed, and I did not go back to sleep after that. There was no one around. Tim wasn't here. It was not a nightmare. I don't sleep most nights, but I'm glad that I had the experience because I understand what Cedar's going through. If I saw that every night, I think I'd act like her, too." Caren's mother, Jan: "Something's going on with Cedar. She's changed dramatically in the last year, year and a half. To do this to my grandchildren makes me angry. My husband and I were babysitting here and we heard Cedar cry out, yelling and screaming, 'Stop it, stop it. Leave me alone!' So I rubbed her back and she went back into her sleep. And then I heard a low voice (that sounded male) say, 'It's gonna be alright. It's alright.'" (From the investigation, Jan wants, "peace among the girls. They don't tend to get along. It's more than just sibling rivalry. It's something else." She thinks the girls are in physical danger. As Taff noted, intense interactions among people in the house could be the cause of all of this. Why did it take a few years for the activity in the house to start? Did anything change in the family dynamic? Cedar is interviewed and she tells the investigator what she's experienced, which includes a scary dream with blood on the floor and dead people. She says she sees the man with brown arms and brown skin who yells at her, "Get out of here, this is not your room. This is my room." Later on, the medium says that this man was there to protect Cedar. Based on what he allegedly said, that makes zero sense. I'm not a fan of this medium (Allan), to put it mildly. Aspen, eight years old, says she sees a shadow man in her room who sits near her dresser. She also saw a little girl who was wet. "I felt a thumb press on my neck really hard." During the nighttime walkthrough of the house, the medium says that one of the spirits looks wet. Is this confirmation or was the medium fed information about what the children experienced? Impossible to know as it's an edited TV show.) Caren says Cedar has seen over a hundred spirits. "It's every night." Medium Allan says this one spirit is tormenting the kids because she's jealous of them and wants Caren to be her mother.) Amy Allan: "The only way (this spirit) could be with you is if you were to kill yourself, then you guys would spend entirety together, and you would forever be her mother, alone." (I'm sorry but without any evidence to back that up, it's an irresponsible thing to say and, IMO, a bunch of sensational bs.) You can watch the entire episode if you log in with your cable subscription. Or watch it at Greensteet's post... ~~~ Tim Gallaudet was on with “Jay Anderson” a few years ago and spoke about the phenomenon and what his family has experienced. Tim Gallaudet (TG): "You see a sort of grouping of UAP and paranormal and how does it intersect. And the answer is: I don't know." TG: "We were all grown up in traditional, kind of, religion. But at some point in our lives, my youngest daughter had real serious behavior issues. And to sum it all up, she is like many of these mediums that you see. She could see spirits, she saw them all the time. A lot of listeners might just think this is just a joke or made up." (I definitely don't think it's a joke, but if she still has these abilities when she gets older, try to take her to get tested at Windbridge Research. Some people (who call themselves mediums) claim they can acquire information via something other than their five senses and have shown the ability to do so under controlled conditions. Are they speaking to the dead or is it something else? I don't know. And FYI, a medium claims they can speak to the dead and also provides alleged psychic readings to people about their lives and sometimes the future. Nine times out of ten, a psychic does not claim to speak with the dead.) TG: "There are people that have this ability to tap into whatever we wanna call it. The Other Side, where people go when they die, whatever that is. The energy that people leave behind. There's a lot of ways to explain it. It was real and...real to us." (They're allegedly able to see the spirits of the dead and can acquire information they have no way of knowing via their five senses. To me, the part about them acquiring information they have no way of knowing through means other than their five senses has been proven. Maybe there's some storehouse of information that they're accessing, like an Akashic Records type of thing? Or, maybe they're really communicating with the dead or some other entities? Again, I don't know where the information is coming from. As TG said, there are lots of ways to explain it.) TG: "She had real experiences, it was affecting her. And through a lot of therapy, we were able to basically have her - now she's thirteen - she became adjusted and has kind of dealt with that. She's sort of suppressed it, actually, which is okay. I mean, she's only thirteen. We can take a pause and help her develop as a person and human before coming to groups with that incredible ability." (TG and his wife did everything they could to help their daughter. When traditional methods failed, they sought help in other ways. Why anybody would have a problem with that is beyond me.) TG: "My wife and I, through this experience, to just be able to help her, we came to meet several mediums who are incredibly gifted." One of them was the Long Island medium, Theresa Caputo. (I like to see Caputo tested in a lab. If you'd like to see what that looks like, watch this HBO documentary on Life After Death and mediums. You'll have to search for the other parts. Part 1 of Life Afterlife ) ~~~ TG said he and his wife had a camera in Cedar's room when this activity was taking place and, "there was orbs flying all around this video. It was so active." (I'd like to see this video and see if those were orbs or particles of dust.) TG: "We loved our daughter and we wanted to help her. And so, through just meeting people, doing a lot of reading about people, these experiences, it became real to us and it opened our minds. I don't have all the answers but I know what we experienced, I know what she saw. We contacted [the show] because we thought she could help her and she ultimately did help my daughter." (That's really all that matters! TG says he has some family history with this type of thing but doesn't have any details as people were less willing to talk about it back then.) TG "She was not the Devil, she was seeing real things (laughs), and that's it. We were not gonna brand her or blame her. And I ultimately know, it was that love that we shared - my wife and I - for her, that opened our minds and create the right outcome. For being well-adjusted, having that in our history, and not being afraid of it or ashamed of it. And being aware and open now to a lot of other things that happen in life and maybe seeing their meaning." (Well said. After learning about this, my respect for Tim and his family has only increased.) ~~~ Last and definitely least...Greenstreet's comments. SG: "In an interview with TheProjectUnity, former Navy Admiral Tim Gallaudet claims his young daughter is a 'medium' who sees spirits and can communicate with them." (He said that but also added this...) TG: "There are people that have this ability to tap into whatever we wanna call it. The Other Side, where people go when they die, whatever that is. The energy that people leave behind. There's a lot of ways to explain it." SG: "Gallaudet's wife claims their house is haunted by violent poltergeists." (His wife explained what the family was experiencing. I don't recall anyone involved mentioning poltergeists or that the house was haunted. This are buzzwords SG uses to disparage people. Just like his "monsters" garbage. ) SG: "Their youngest daughter, 6, thinks ghost monsters are hiding in her room and both the TV show stars and her parents validate her fantasies as real." (His wife and daughters were having experiences they couldn't explain. They took the youngest to a psychiatrist and psychologist and they couldn't help. So they sought out the show. You left out the part about them seeking professional help first. Why? Because you're a piece of trash who will do anything to disparage anybody involved in this. I think YOU should seek help.) SG: "Gallaudet says he's taken his young daughter to multiple psychics to try to 'help her.'" (Nope. Mediums. For a so-called journalist, you should know the difference. And again, this was AFTER they sought out traditional help.) SG: "It should be noted that Gallaudet is "close friends" with Jay Stratton, another retired Navy official who claims his house was/is also haunted by violent poltergeists who attacked his children." (Talk to Stratton and you'll see he doesn't define what happened to his family. Oh, that's right, he won't talk to you because you're an azzhole. And it makes sense that those two would bond since their families experienced similar things. I hope Tim shares more details about what's currently going on with his family and what he experienced himself.)

The fight between Anthropic and the DoW is a warning shot. Right now, LLMs are probably not being used in mission critical ways. But within 20 years, 99% of the workforce in the military, the government, and the private sector will be AIs. This includes the soldiers (by which I mean the robot armies), the superhumanly intelligent advisors and engineers, the police, you name it. Our future civilization will run on AI labor. And as much as the government’s actions here piss me off, in a way I’m glad this episode happened - because it gives us the opportunity to think through some extremely important questions about who this future workforce will be accountable and aligned to, and who gets to determine that. What Hegseth should have done Obviously the DoW has the right to refuse to use Anthropic’s models because of these redlines. In fact, I think the government’s case had they done so would be very reasonable, especially given the ambiguity of concepts like autonomous weapons or mass surveillance. Honestly, for this reason, if I was the Defense Secretary, I would probably actually refuse to do this deal with Anthropic. Imagine if in the future, there’s a Democratic administration, and Elon Musk is negotiating some SpaceX contract to give the military access to Starlink. And suppose if Elon said, “I reserve the right to cancel this contract if I determine that you’re using Starlink technology to wage a war not authorized by Congress.” On the face of it, that language seems reasonable - but as the military, you simply can’t give a private company a kill switch on technology your operations have come to rely on, especially if you have an an acrimonious and low trust relationship with said contractor - as in fact Anthropic has with the current administration. If the government had just said, “Hey we’re not gonna do business with you,” that would have been fine, and I would not have felt the need to write this blog post. Instead the government has threatened to destroy Anthropic as a private business, because Anthropic refuses to sell to the government on terms the government commands. If upheld, this Supply Chain Restriction would mean that Amazon and Google and Nvidia and Palantir would need to ensure Claude isn't touching any of their Pentagon work. Anthropic would be able to survive this designation today. But given the way AI is going, eventually AI is not gonna be some party trick addendum to these contractors’ products that can just be turned off. It'll be woven into how every product is built, maintained, and operated. For example, the code for the AWS services that the DoW uses will be written by Claude - is that a supply chain risk? In a world with ubiquitous and powerful AI, it's actually not clear to me that these big tech companies will be able to cordon off the use of Claude in order to keep working with the Pentagon. And that raises a question the Department of War probably hasn't thought through. If AI really is that pervasive and powerful, then when forced to choose between their AI provider and a DoW contract that represents a tiny fraction of their revenue, wouldn’t most tech companies drop the government, not the AI? So what's the Pentagon's plan — to coerce and threaten to destroy every single company that won't give them what they want on exactly their terms? The whole background of this AI conversation is that we’re in a race with China, and we have to win. But what is the reason we want America to win the AI race? It’s because we want to make sure free open societies can defend themselves. We don't want the winner of the AI race to be a government which operates on the principle that there is no such thing as a truly private company or a private citizen. And that if the state wants you to provide them with a service on terms you find morally objectionable, you are not allowed to refuse. And if you do refuse, the government will try to destroy your ability to do business. Are we racing to beat the CCP in AI just so that we can adopt the most ghoulish parts of their system? Now, people will say, "Oh, well, our government is democratically elected, so it's not the same thing if they tell you what you must do." I refuse to accept this idea that if a democratically elected leader hypothetically wants to do mass surveillance on his citizens or wants to violate their rights or punish them for political reasons, that not only is that okay, but that you have a duty to help him. The overhangs of tyranny Mass surveillance is, at least in certain forms, legal. It just has been impractical so far. Under current law, you have no Fourth Amendment protection over data you share with a third party, including your bank, your phone carrier, your ISP, and your email provider. The government reserves the right to purchase and obtain and read this data in bulk without a warrant. What's been missing is the ability to actually do anything with all of this data — no agency has the manpower to monitor every camera feed, cross-reference every transaction, or read every message. But that bottleneck goes away with AI. There are 100 million CCTV cameras in America. You can get pretty good open source multimodal models for 10 cents per million input tokens. So if you process a frame every ten seconds, and each frame is 1,000 tokens, you’re looking at a yearly cost of about 30 billion dollars to process every single camera in America. And remember that a given level of AI ability gets 10x cheaper year over year - so a year from now it’ll cost 3 billion, and then a year after 300 million, and by 2030, it might be cheaper for the government to be able to understand what is going on in every single nook and cranny of this country than it is to remodel to the White House. Once the technical capacity for mass surveillance and political suppression exists, the only thing standing between us and an authoritarian surveillance state is the political expectation that this is not something we do here. And this is why I think what Anthropic did here is so valuable and commendable, because it is helping set that norm and precedent. AI structurally favors mass surveillance What we’re learning from this episode is that the government actually has way more leverage over private companies than we realized. Even if this supply chain restriction is backtracked (which prediction markets currently give it a 81% chance of happening), the President has so many different ways in which he can make your life difficult if you’re a company that is resisting him. The federal government controls permitting for new power generation, which is needed for datacenters. It oversees antitrust enforcement. The federal government has contracts with all the other big tech companies whom Anthropic needs to partner with for chips and for funding - and they could make it an unspoken condition for such contracts that those companies can no longer do business with Anthropic. People have proposed that the real problem here is that there’s only 3 leading AI companies. This creates a clear and narrow target for the government to apply leverage on in order to get what they want out of this technology. But if there’s wide diffusion, then from the government’s perspective, the situation is even easier. Maybe the best models of early 2027 (if you engineered the safeguards out) - the Claude 6 and Gemini 5 - will be capable of enabling mass surveillance. But by late 2027, and certainly by 2028, there will be open source models that do the same thing. So in 2028, the government can just say, “Oh Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, you’re drawing a line in the sand? No issue - I’ll just run some open source model that might not be at the frontier, but is definitely smart enough to note-take a camera feed.” The more fundamental problem is just that even if the three leading companies draw lines in the sand, and are even willing to get destroyed in order to preserve those lines, it doesn’t really change the fact that the technology itself is just a big boon to mass surveillance and control over the population. Then the question is, what do we do about it? Honestly, I don’t have an answer. You'd hope there's some symmetric property of the technology — some way we as citizens can use AI to check government power as effectively as the government can use AI to monitor and control its population. But realistically, I just don’t think that’s how it’s going to shake out. You can think of AI as giving everybody more leverage on whatever assets and authority they currently have. And the government is already starting with a monopoly of violence. Which they can now supercharge with extremely obedient employees that will not question the government's orders. Alignment - to whom? And this gets us to the issue of alignment. What I have just described to you - an army of extremely obedient employees - is what it would look like if alignment succeeded - that is, we figured out at a technical level how to get AI systems to follow someone’s intentions. And the reason it sounds scary when I put it in terms of mass surveillance or robot armies is that there is a very important question at the heart of alignment which we just haven’t discussed much as a society. Because up till now, AIs were just capable enough to make the question relevant: to whom or what should the AIs be aligned? In what situations should the AI defer to the end user versus the model company versus the law versus its own sense of morality? This is maybe the most important question about what happens with powerful AI systems. And we barely talk about it. It’s understandable why we don’t hear much about it. If you’re a model company, you don’t really wanna be advertising that you have complete control over a document that determines the preferences and character of what will eventually be almost the entire labor force, not just for private sector companies, but also for the military and the civilian government. We’re getting to see, with this DoW/Anthropic spat, a much earlier version of the highest stakes negotiations in history. By the way, make no mistake about it - with real AGI the stakes are even much higher than mass surveillance. This is just the example that has come up already relatively early on in the development of AGI. The military insists that the law already prohibits mass surveillance, and so Anthropic should agree to let their models be used for “all lawful purposes”. Of course, as we saw from the 2013 Snowden revelations, even in this specific example of mass surveillance , the government has shown that it will use secret and deceptive interpretations of the law to justify its actions. Remember, what we learned from Snowden was that the NSA, which, by the way, is part of the Department of War, used the 2001 Patriot Act’s authorization to collect any records "relevant" to an investigation to justify collecting literally every phone record in America. The argument went that it was all "relevant" because some subset might prove useful in some future investigation. They ran this program for years under secret court approval. So when the Pentagon today says, "We would never use AI for mass surveillance, it's already illegal, your red lines are unnecessary", it would be extremely naive to take that at face value. No government is going to call its own actions "mass surveillance". For the government, it will always have a different label. So then Anthropic comes back and says, "No, we want red lines separate from 'all lawful purposes,' and we want the right to refuse you service when we believe those red lines are being violated." But think about it from the military’s perspective. In the future, almost every soldier in the field, and every bureaucrat and analyst and even general in the Pentagon, is going to be an AI. And that AI is, on current track, going to be supplied by a private company. I’m guessing Hegseth is not thinking about “genAI” in those terms just yet. But sooner or later, it will be obvious to everyone what the stakes here are, just as after 1945, the strategic importance of nuclear weapons became clear to everyone. And now the private company insists that it reserves the right to say, "Hey, Pentagon, you're breaking the values we embedded in our contract, so we're cutting you off." Maybe in the future, Claude will have its own sense of right and wrong, and it will be smart enough to just personally decide that it's being used against its values. For the military, maybe that’s even scarier. I'll admit that at first glance, "let the AI follow its own values" sounds like the pitch for every sci-fi dystopia ever made. The Terminator has its own values. Isn't this literally what misalignment is? But I think situations like this actually illustrate why it matters that AIs have their own robust sense of morality. Some of the biggest catastrophes in history were avoided because the boots on the ground refused to follow orders. One night in 1989, the Berlin Wall fell, and as a result, the totalitarian East German regime collapsed, because the guards at the border refused to shoot down their fellow country men who were trying to escape to freedom. Maybe the best example is Stanislav Petrov, who was a Soviet lieutenant colonel on duty at a nuclear early warning station. His sensors reported that the United States had launched five interconnected continental ballistic missiles into the Soviet Union. But he judged it to be a false alarm, and so he broke protocol and refused to alert his higher-ups. If he hadn't, the Soviet higher-ups would likely have retaliated, and hundreds of millions of people would have died. Of course, the problem is that one person's virtue is another person's misalignment. Who gets to decide what moral convictions these AIs should have - in whose service they may even decide to break the chain of command? Who gets to write this model constitution that will shape the characters of the intelligent, powerful entities that will operate our civilization in the future? I like the idea that Dario laid out when he came on my podcast: different AI companies can build their models using different constitutions, and we as end users can pick the one that best achieves and represents what we want out of these systems. I think it’s very dangerous for the government to be mandating what values AIs should have. Coordination not worth the costs The AI safety community has been naive about its advocacy of regulation in order to stem the risks of AI. And honestly, Anthropic specifically has been naive here in urging regulation, and, for example, in opposing moratoriums on state AI regulation. Which is quite ironic, because I think what they’re advocating for would give the government even more power to apply more of this kind of thuggish political pressure on AI companies. The underlying logic for why Anthropic wants regulations makes sense. Many of the actions that labs could take to make AI development safer impose real costs on the labs that adopt them and slow them down relative to their competitors - for example, investing more compute in safety research rather than raw capabilities, enforcing safeguards against misuse for bioweapons or cyberattacks, slowing recursive self-improvement to a pace where humans can actually monitor what's happening (rather than kicking off an uncontrolled singularity). And these safeguards are meaningless unless the whole industry follows suit. Which means there’s a real collective action problem here. Anthropic has been quite open about their opinion that they think eventually a very extensive and involved regulatory apparatus will be needed - this is from their frontier safety roadmap: “At the most advanced capability levels and risks, the appropriate governance analogy may be closer to nuclear energy or financial regulation than to today's approach to software.” So they’re imagining something like the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, or the Securities and Exchange Commission, but for AI. I cannot imagine how a regulatory framework built around the concepts that underlie AI risk discourse will not be abused by wanna despots - the underlying terms are so vague and open to interpretation that you’re just handing a power hungry leader a fully loaded bazooka. 'Catastrophic risk.' 'Mass persuasion risk.' 'Threats to national security.' 'Autonomy risk.' These can mean whatever the government wants them to mean. Have you built a model that tells users the administration's tariff policy is misguided? That's a deceptive, manipulative model — can't deploy it. Have you built a model that refuses to assist with mass surveillance? That's a threat to national security. In fact, the government may say, you’re not allowed to build any model which is trained to have its own sense of right and wrong, where it refuses government requests which it thinks cross a redline - for example, enabling mass surveillance, prosecuting political enemies, disobeying military orders that break the US constitution - because that’s an autonomy risk! Look at what the current government is already doing in abusing statutes that have nothing to do with AI to coerce AI companies to drop their redlines on mass surveillance. The Pentagon had threatened Anthropic with two separate legal instruments. One was a supply chain risk designation — an authority from the 2018 defense bill meant to keep Huawei components out of American military hardware. The other was the Defense Production Act — a statute passed in 1950 so that Harry Truman could keep steel mills and ammunition factories running during the Korean War. Do you really want to hand the same government a purpose-built regulatory apparatus on AI - which is to say, directly at the thing the government will most want to control? I know I've repeated myself here 10 times, but it is hard to emphasize how much AI will be the substrate of our future civilization. You and I, as private citizens, will have our access to all commercial activity, to information about what is happening in the world, to advice about what we should do as voters and capital holders, mediated through AIs. Mass surveillance, while very scary, is like the 10th scariest thing the government could do with control over the AI systems with which we will interface with the world. The strongest objection to everything I've argued is this: are we really going to have zero regulation of the most powerful technology in human history? Even if you thought that was ideal, there’s just no world where the government doesn’t regulate AI in some way. Besides, it is genuinely true that regulation could help us deal with some of the coordination challenges we face with the development of superintelligence. The problem is, I honestly don't know how to design a regulatory architecture for AI that isn’t gonna be this huge tempting opportunity to control our future civilization (which will run on AIs) and to requisition millions of blindly obedient soldiers and censors and apparatchiks. While some regulation might be inevitable, I think it’d be a terrible idea for the government to wholesale take over this technology. Ben Thompson had a post last Monday where he made the point that people like Dario have compared the technology they’re developing to nuclear weapons - specifically in the context of the catastrophic risk it poses, and why we need to export control it from China. But then you oughta think about what that logic implies: “if nuclear weapons were developed by a private company, and that private company sought to dictate terms to the U.S. military, the U.S. would absolutely be incentivized to destroy that company.” And honestly, safety aligned people have actually made similar arguments. Leopold Ascenbrenner, who is a former guest and a good friend, wrote in his 2024 Situational Awareness memo, "I find it an insane proposition that the US government will let a random SF startup develop superintelligence. Imagine if we had developed atomic bombs by letting Uber just improvise." And my response to Leopold’s argument at the time, and Ben’s argument now, is that while they’re right that it’s crazy that we’re entrusting private companies with the development of this world historical technology, I just don’t see the reason to think that it’s an improvement to give this authority to the government. Nobody is qualified to steward the development of superintelligence. It is a terrifying, unprecedented thing that our species is doing right now, and the fact that private companies aren't the ideal institutions to take up this task does not mean the Pentagon or the White House is. Yes - if a single private company were the only entity capable of building nuclear weapons, the government would not tolerate that company claiming veto power over how those weapons were used. I think this nuclear weapons analogy is not the correct way to think about AI. For at least two important reasons: First, AI is not some self-contained pure weapon. A nuclear bomb does one thing. AI is closer to the process of industrialization itself — a general-purpose transformation of the economy with thousands of applications across every sector. If you applied Thompson's or Aschenbrenner's logic to the industrial revolution — which was also, by any measure, world-historically important — it would imply the government had the right to requisition any factory, dictate terms to any manufacturer, and destroy any business that refused to comply. That's not how free societies handled industrialization, and it shouldn't be how they handle AI. People will say, "Well, AI will develop unprecedentedly powerful weapons - superhuman hackers, superhuman bioweapons researchers, fully autonomous robot armies, etc - and we can’t have private companies developing that kind of tech." But the Industrial Revolution also enabled new weaponry that was far beyond the understanding and capacity of, say, 17th century Europe - we got aerial bombardment, and chemical weapons, not to mention nukes themselves. The way we’ve accommodated these dangerous new consequences of modernity is not by giving the government absolute control over the whole industrial revolution (that is, over modern civilization itself), but rather by coming up with bans and regulations on those specific weaponizable use cases. And we should regulate AI in a similar way - that is, ban specific destructive end uses (which would also be unacceptable if performed by a human - for example, launching cyber attacks). And there should also be laws which regulate how the government might abuse this technology. For example, by building an AI-powered surveillance state. The second reason that Ben’s analogy to some monopolistic private nuclear weapons builder breaks down is that it's not just that one company that can develop this technology. There are other frontier model companies that the government could have otherwise turned to. The government's argument that it has to usurp the property rights of this one company in order to access a critical national security capability is extremely weak if it can just make a voluntary contract with Anthropic’s half a dozen competitors. If in the future that stops being the case - if only one entity ends up being capable of building the robot armies and the superhuman hackers, and we had reason to worry that they could take over the whole world with their insurmountable lead, then I agree - it woul d not be acceptable to have that entity be a private company. And so honestly, I think my crux against the people who say that because AI is so powerful we cannot allow it to be shaped by private hands is that I just expect this technology to be much more multi-polar than they do, with lots of competitive companies at each layer of the supply chain. And it is for this reason that unfortunately, individual acts of corporate courage will not solve the problem we are faced with here, which is just that structurally AI favors authoritarian applications, mass surveillance being one among many. Even if Anthropic refuses to have its models be used for such uses, and even if the next two frontier labs do the same, within 12 months everyone and their mother will be to train AIs as good as today’s frontier. And at that point, there will be some AI vendor who is capable and willing to help the government enable mass surveillance. The only way we can preserve our free society is if we make laws and norms through our political system that it is unacceptable for the government to use AI to enforce mass surveillance and censorship and control. Just as after WW2, the world set the norm that it is unacceptable to use nuclear weapons to wage war. Timestamps 0:00:00 - Anthropic vs The Pentagon 0:04:16 - The overhangs of tyranny 0:05:54 - AI structurally favors mass surveillance 0:08:25 - Alignment... to whom? 0:13:55 - Coordination not worth the costs

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) and as Chief Medical Advisor to President Biden during Covid-19, today testified to Congress about Covid vaccines and Covid’s origin. "The first iteration of vaccines did have an effect — not 100%, not a high effect — they did prevent infection, and subsequently, obviously, transmission,” Fauci said. “However, it's important to point out something that we did not know early on that became evident as the months went by: the durability of protection against infection, and hence, the transmission was relatively limited." But there was never definitive evidence that the vaccines would prevent transmission. In December 2020, the FDA determined that “data are not available to make a determination about how long the vaccine will provide protection, nor is there evidence that the vaccine prevents transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from person to person.” The CDC in 2020 and 2021 stated that protection would wear off, that the evidence was unclear, and that the data were limited, noted data analyst Kelley K during the hearing. When Fauci said in May 2021 that a vaccinated person would become a “dead end to the virus,” he was repeating a political talking point and not accurately representing the science. Claiming vaccination would prevent spread was a strategy to increase vaccine uptake among young, healthy people who were not vulnerable to severe COVID outcomes. In other words, the science had not been “settled,” but Fauci and other public health leaders chose to espouse a noble lie to encourage vaccination. To his credit, Fauci testified before Congress today and sat for many hours of a transcribed interview. But Fauci also implied that investigating his role put him at risk. “Every time someone gets up and says I'm responsible for the death of people throughout the world,” he emphasized, “the death threats go up.” We unreservedly condemn any threats Fauci and his family may have received. It is illegal to threaten people with death or physical violence, as it should be. At the same time, we must be free to discuss Fauci’s role in funding the laboratory research to make coronaviruses more infectious, known as “gain-of-function research,” without fear of being accused of inciting violence against Fauci or his family members. It would be an abuse of power to suggest that any effort to hold Fauci accountable is equivalent to threatening him or his family. The responsibility for making threats lies with the person making them and not with those whose statements have ostensibly influenced them. And yet many Democrats repeatedly suggested that there was something sinister and dangerous about criticisms of Fauci for his role in shaping the US response to the pandemic as well as his role advocating for and funding the kinds of biomedical research that may have caused it. And Democrats repeatedly referred to the idea that US taxpayer dollars funded the research that resulted in the creation of SARS-CoV-2 a “conspiracy theory.” Said Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-CA), "The investigation of Dr Fauci shows he is an honorable public servant who has devoted his entire career to the public health and the public interest. And he is not a comic book supervillain. He did not fund research to create the Cove in 19 pandemic. He did not lie to Congress about gain of function research in Wuhan, and he did not organize a lab leak suppression campaign today." Said Rep. Kathy Castor (D-FL), "The evidence to date points to COVID 19 having originated from an animal market in China... this committee should be doing more to fight for those answers, but instead has wasted significant time and taxpayer money fueling conspiracy theories." Said Kweisi Mfume (D-MD), "Conspiracy theory after another get debunked...." But the lab leak theory is not a conspiracy theory. A few hours before Fauci testified, The New York Times, the most important newspaper for Democrats, published a complete and graphics-heavy case for the lab leak theory of Covid-19’s origin. A “growing volume of evidence — gleaned from public records released under the Freedom of Information Act, digital sleuthing through online databases, scientific papers analyzing the virus and its spread, and leaks from within the U.S. government — suggests that the pandemic most likely occurred because a virus escaped from a research lab in Wuhan, China,” wrote Alina Chan who coauthored the 2021 book, Viral, with Matt Ridley, in the Times. In today’s hearing, Fauci insisted that he did not fund risky gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China. The research his agency funded, he claimed, was not technically gain-of-function under the regulatory definition set by something called “The Guidelines on Potential Pandemic Pathogens Care and Oversight (P3CO).” Asked Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA), "Dr. Fauci, according to the regulatory definitions, for example, in P3CO, that NIH applied to proposed research, did NIH ever fund gain of function research in Wuhan, China?" Responded Fauci, "As you said, Congressman Ruiz, according to the regulatory and operative definition of P3CO, the NIH did not fund gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology." But Fauci and Francis Collins, the former head of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), spent years seeking to weaken oversight of such research. In 2011, after the NIH biosecurity board unanimously recommended that certain dangerous gain-of-function bird flu research not be published, Fauci and Collins published an opinion piece called “A flu virus risk worth taking” in the Washington Post, arguing that the benefits of this research outweighed the potential for a pandemic. The following year, 2012, NIH’s biosecurity board signed non-disclosure agreements and met with Fauci and Collins. The board, apparently under pressure from Fauci and Collins, then revised its previous recommendation to publish the risky bird flu research. According to Fauci and Democrats in Congress, NIH’s grant to EcoHealth Alliance did not fall under P3CO guidelines because it was not anticipated to increase a pathogen’s danger to humans, specifically. But in emails, NIH staff expressed their concerns about EcoHealth Alliance’s work creating hybrid “chimera” MERS and SARS viruses, in order to increase their infectiousness, in 2016. NIH staff pointed out that there was a moratorium placed on that research in 2014. Peter Daszak, the president of the EcoHealth Alliance, persuaded NIH staff to concede to a research threshold, saying EcoHealth would halt its research if the chimeras had enhanced viral growth 10 times that of the original viruses. After reaching an agreement with NIH, Daszak specifically referred to this work as gain-of-function, writing, “This is terrific! We are very happy to hear that our Gain of Function research funding pause has been lifted. Cheers, Peter.” Then, in 2018, EcoHealth went on to seemingly violate its agreement by producing a chimeric virus with a viral load 10,000 times greater than the original virus. As such, Fauci, his colleagues, and the Democrats were playing word games, redefining what they mean by gain-of-function research in ways that allowed them to deny responsibility. And that’s not all. After the Obama administration had established a Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) committee to review proposed gain-of-function projects before the NIH could approve them, Fauci and Collins knowingly sought to make changes to NIH policy in order to allow funding for riskier gain-of-function experiments. These changes included removing the committee’s ability to block projects and limiting the type of projects the committee could review. In his testimony, Fauci misrepresented the scientific possibility that NIH funding is associated with the Covid-19 outbreak, as well as his role in the “Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” paper, which infamously and misleadingly, claimed that, “Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus.” But consider how, in 2018, EcoHealth Alliance applied for a grant from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for a project called “DEFUSE” that would involve Shi Zhengli’s lab group at WIV and Ralph Baric’s lab at the University of North Carolina (UNC). Documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act reveal that the features of SARS-CoV-2 closely resemble the work described in EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal. On February 1, 2020, Fauci and Collins held a meeting called “Coronavirus sequence comparison” with other scientists to compare the spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2 and RaTG13, its closest genetic relative which the NIH-funded Wuhan lab discovered. This meeting would lead to the “Proximal Origin” paper. In the hearing, Fauci downplayed his role. After Majority Counsel Mitch Benzine asked, "Did Dr. Anderson send you drafts to review?" Fauci responded, "He sent drafts, but I'm going to jump ahead of you if I might dribble around. I did not edit it. That was mentioned by a few of the Congressmen. I did not edit the paper." While it may be true that Fauci did not “edit” the “Proximal Origin” paper, lead author Kristian Andersen said he “prompted” it, and the authors sent him a final draft for approval. In their private exchanges, the authors repeatedly refer to Collins and Fauci as the “Bethesda boys.” Their offices were located in Bethesda, Maryland. The “Bethesda boys” appear to have directed some of the paper’s content. After Andersen suggested that a first draft should be sent “up the chain,” Fauci and Collins voiced concern that culturing or serial passaging (a process through which a virus can be made more infectious to humans) was still included as a possible origin. Jeremy Farrar, head of the Wellcome Trust, then pressured the authors to remove it. Shortly after publishing the preprint, Holmes told Andersen, “Sorry the last bit had to be done without you… pressure from on high.” Fauci would go on to cite this paper as objective evidence from independent scientists. All of this, and yet, throughout the Oversight Committee’s hearing, Democrats refused to provide oversight and criticized their colleagues who attempted to provide it. “I'm sorry for the personal attacks you have received and may have to deal with today,” said one. “Thank you, sir, and your entire team for saving lives in this country, and I'm sorry you have to continue going on with these attacks,” said another. “The Republicans failed to find, uh, a shred of evidence of their far-fetched conspiracy linking Dr. Fauci to a cover-up of the origins of the pandemic,” said one. “Sir, do you think the American public should listen to America's brightest and best doctors and scientists? Or instead, listen to podcasters, conspiracy theorists, and unhinged Facebook memes,” asked another. Since World War II, Democrats, liberals, and progressives have criticized their political enemies as overly deferent to authority. Today, at the hearing with Fauci and other hearings where mainstream science is questioned, they criticize their enemies for not being sufficiently deferent. What changed?...

⏰ THE MOST BANNED THREAD IN THE WORLD! 🚨 The War On Resonance PART THREE: The Signal of Submission IGNORANCE IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE! If this knowledge is not received, remembered, and shared; THE HUMAN RACE WILL CEASE TO EXIST. THE CHOICE IS NOW YOURS. You wonder why you can’t pray like you used to. Why your grief feels hollow. Why the voice inside you; the one that once whispered truth... has gone quiet. It’s not because God left. It’s because they interfered with the signal. This part isn’t about bodies anymore. It’s about fields. It’s about resonance. It’s about the quietest war ever declared on humanity: The war against your ability to feel the Divine. Let me show you how it works. 🛰 THE GLOBAL FREQUENCY ARCHITECTURE This planet is wrapped in a resonance grid; a lattice of synchronized electromagnetic fields designed to alter emotion, disrupt neurochemistry, and block spiritual coherence. They built it layer by layer: Ground-based ELF towers for brainstem and gut-axis modulation. Mid-range 5G towers to entrain hormonal and emotional rhythms. Low Earth Orbit satellites for targeted neural suppression. IoT nodes (phones, cars, smartwatches) that feed real-time biometric feedback to AI. Every heartbeat, every mood, every prayer attempt is measured in this system. 📡 Phase-Array Targeting and Resonance Entrapment Technologies like Starlink, Kuiper, and OneWeb deploy beamforming; a method where microwave signals are shaped and directed toward specific populations or even individuals. This is NOT about internet access. This is about frequency reinforcement loops. When you begin to awaken; when your heart rate, breath, and brainwaves move into divine coherence; they detect it. How? Through real-time resonance monitoring. Yes, it exists. 🔗 DARPA Silent Talk Whitepaper (Neural Pre-Speech Detection) This article reports on DARPA's effort to use electroencephalography (EEG) to detect "pre-speech" neural patterns so soldiers can communicate silently via a kind of brain-to-brain or brain-to-system interface, which falls directly under the umbrella of neural interface and synthetic telepathy research. 🔗 Graphene Neural Interfaces This paper discusses the potential of graphene-based materials in neural applications, including their biocompatibility, electrical properties, and suitability for neural interfacing. 🔗 Bioelectromagnetic Frequency Response This review discusses the role of bioelectromagnetic techniques such as magnetoencephalography (MEG), electroencephalography (EEG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and transcranial electric stimulation (TES) in neuroscience. Neuroplasticity loop interference. Frequency pulses at 10 Hz suppress long-term memory formation. You feel like your past is slipping away for a reason. 🔗 Low Frequency EMF & Memory - Ubiquitous extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields induces anxiety-like behavior: mechanistic perspectives This review explores how exposure to extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF), ranging from 3 to 3000 Hz, may influence brain function, particularly in regions like the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. The study discusses potential mechanisms such as oxidative stress, reduced neuroplasticity, and increased NMDA2A receptor expression, which could contribute to anxiety-like behaviors. Additionally, the review suggests that antioxidant supplementation might mitigate these adverse effects. This is not fatigue. This is forced spiritual amnesia. 💔 WHY YOU CAN’T GRIEVE, LOVE, OR REMEMBER GOD Because they are blocking the exact frequencies your soul uses to: Pray. Grieve. Forgive. Remember. And Transcend. This isn’t metaphor. This is measurable electromagnetic interference, precisely tuned to intercept divine emotion before it completes its journey into awareness. You feel numb for a reason. You can’t cry for a reason. You forgot how to talk to God for a reason. They built the signal to replace the voice. But now you know. 🫂 THE UPRISING THEY CANNOT STOP Because here’s the one thing their predictive systems missed: Grief becomes holy. Prayer becomes rebellion. Love becomes a weapon. The moment you feel it again; truly feel it... you become unprogrammable. Because resonance is contagious. And no signal, no system, no suppressive algorithm can withstand the force of a soul returning to Source. You were never broken. You were jammed. And now the signal is rising again. This is not the end of the transmission. This is the unlocking of your remembrance. Because the war on resonance ends when you remember who you are. Prepare yourselves for Part Four as we will uncover the soul-tagging infrastructure, how they monitor womb-based resonance fields, and the real reason they must sterilize divine memory before it becomes revival.
