I was rejected by Y Combinator 9 times I got in on my 10th attempt. there was no secret sauce the idea is similar, but i'm walking in with traction (to the point people ask us why we are doing yc - a post for later) we have a team, insane customers, and a clear vision of how we scale to 100B I got lucky along the way and found people who believed in me. I almost quit 10 times but each time I reminded myself I didn't want to leave this earth with any regrets so here I am taking my shot p.s. - watch the video when I applied solo 2 years ago

In Bangladesh, a crying boy hired a cycle van to bring his murdered mother's body to the police station. Clutching his small sister, he explained to onlookers that their mother was raped & brutally killed in front of him and his younger siblings by a Maula (Isl@mic teacher) & two others. I am both a journalist and an activist. After I recorded my interview with Ronnie the Juror for the purposes of publishing a story in September 2024, I asked Ronnie if he would like to get in touch with Alan Jackson, since Ronnie told me that jurors dismissed ARCCA's testimony because they believed they were paid for by Karen Read's car insurance company. I thought this was information the defense could use to their advantage in the retrial, since the Crash Daddies were their most important witnesses. Ronnie spoke with them, and then right on cue during Dr. Wolfe's re-direct Alan Jackson asked him point blank: "You were not hired by an insurance company. That's not who hired you on behalf of Miss Read or anything like that?" Dr. Wolfe responded: "It was not an insurance company." When you see a story like the Karen Read trial it's not enough to just report the facts. In a battle of good vs. evil I will always assist the side of good in any way that I can.

I tend to not complain about Triple J as it has always been a cultural product for a younger audience, but the kind of rudderless post-Kingsmill era is pretty noticeable, and the products of the end of his reign linger around like a bad smell among foreign TikTok artists in the H100 countdown. Ocean Alley, G-Flip, Lime Cordiale, Kelli Holiday and more recently, Playlunch all feel very much as if they'd been created in a laboratory by the kind of people that you'd find in student politics, likewise with the presenters. I'm sure at some point they hired quite cool talent, but that's long gone. This room is indistinguishable from the kind of crowd that would do flyering for the Student Representative Council at any university.

Just saw this on TikTok… people call me crazy for saying they desperately need to have a simpler HUD by default. This is why. So many people have no idea HUD customization exists and they’ll probably never know. Most people do not want to spend time trying to make their HUD look good in the settings. So most casual players will not bother. At the very least they need to have a giant pop-up when you first enter the game that gives you the option to have a “Classic” HUD or not.

“The Last Meatball” Animation: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Movement: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Reference Imagery: FLUX on Civitai Jboogx and I have known each other for the better part of the last 12 months. I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). Since I was going to record myself, it wouldn't have been right if Jboogx didn't as well! This is just a taste of what’s possible. I'm located in Germany, and Jboogx is in Hawaii. A world apart, and we pulled this together in 48 hours. BTS coming soon 😉

When I see a newspaper reporting on hatred but calling it ‘backlash’ I feel it is important to clarify that hatred is hatred, and this kind of hatred is violence. “Backlash would imply that people who love or respect Dylan and me didn't like something we did. And YES, this is a product placement. I told you in a video last week that 'live ad reads' within the video, especially by stealth, has been found to be the most effective at conversions (meaning sales.)

Here are the steps to create this animation: 1. Design and model your own mech in Plasticity. 2. Import the model into the animation software 3ds Max. 3. Create the animation on your own. 4. Render and export the monochrome model animation. 5. Make the final render for reference. 6. Use Seedance 2 to re-render your monochrome model animation according to the reference render you provided. Summary: In this workflow, Seedance 2 acts as a renderer that saves you hours of rendering time. All other work has to be done manually by yourself. Don’t blindly believe that AI can fully produce mech animations for you — it simply cannot do that.
