Our bakery is now closed. We are producing zero bread for families in Gaza. This is particularly difficult to come to terms with when we remember what people have sacrificed throughout this genocide just for flour. Bread equals survival. When there was nothing else to eat, Palestinians risked, and so many lost, their lives trying to bring home enough flour to feed their families. We were so proud to build something sustainable in the North: a bakery families could count on for free bread.
