Instant reaction to The Castle.

I quote "It was an absolute credit to the airline" all the time.

The delivery is impeccable.

YouTube Full Frontal Peter. It was a sketch comedy show that Eric Bana was on and played a character called Peter.

Eric Bana as “Poida” will kill you!

Bana made his bones doing sketch comedy in the early 90s on a show called Full Frontal. He has two characters on that which are iconic amongst Australians over 40. Peter (pronounced Poida) and an impression of a famed TV host named Ray Martin. Dig into YouTube for some of it.

The Eric Bana Show. He had his own skit comedy show in the 90s.

Great take mate. Agree with your comments about Eric Bana. His early comedy stuff was genius. Amazing that the same guy who was so funny as Con, went on to be just as incredible as Chopper. Some of his early TV comedy work was very funny, and VERY Australian.

I’m guessing we’re all watch re-runs of Poida right about now… or is it just me?

Fav line from The Castle: “Suffer in ya jocks!” Jocks are men’s underwear, if you didn’t know. I think you call them briefs.

Funny People with Eric explaining AFL to Seth Rogan and Adam Sandler. Eric a big St Kilda Saints fan in real life

If you barrack for St Kilda like Eric Bana does, it’s hard to maintain your sense of humour.

Eric started on a Comedy Show in the late 80’s early 90’s called full frontal. Amongst his great characters was a guy called Poida. Check it out on YouTube.

The movie you seek is called The Nugget (2002) but your chances of finding it are slim and none. Good luck.

Not a comedy but his performance in The Dry is pretty solid

Poida -

Eric explaining AFL to Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan

Fun fact: Eric Bana's number one love is the St Kilda AFL team.

The Dry is pretty good . Romulus my father . Not Australian but Munich is well worth a watch

Kick boxing, 24 hours a day

Con: “And this hotel Trace and I were staying at had this one channel, kickboxing 24 hours a day”

Bro, look up Full Frontal. Very un PC comedy skit show. He played a news reporter and big bogan, Peter, pronounces "Poiter". Classic. Take a look at this video, 'poiter'

Check out Funny People and also read up on his (and my) favourite team, @stkildafc

Eric Bana must’ve had a dud agent or could’ve made better movie choices. Brilliant actor, as u say. The movie he did with Ricky Gervais was funny and ok. Capable of much more

The hair dehydrates doesn't it Con...yeah it's loses its moisture

@NotleyTrevor @GeelongCats 👍😄

A more heartwarming movie does not and will not exist

Shit hat

Go the catters 💙🤍

Put the gates around the back.

You need to look up Poiter (Peter) YouTube it. He was a huge comedian here before his main role acting

The dry is one of our best movies
