Gallipoli is well worth watching. Historical drama based on actual events at the failed Dardanelles (Turkey) campaign in WW1 - and the origin of our most revered national day. Has a fantastic soundtrack and features a very young Mel Gibson. 🇦🇺 🫡

He was a very complicated man. He was very much a product of mid century Collingwood (before it got gentrified). They specifically passed laws to stop him from profiting from his non fiction books so he started writing fiction, the Mafia guys he knew liked the fiction better.

he was out of his mind!! sooo spooky! i even felt bad for him the littlest bit seeing how his dad and girlfriend was but then he would act like WAY WAY WAY too insane back and i’d be like okay no more sympathy for you buddy

the ending was hauntingtoo like he’s so happy seeing himself on the news for three minutes but just like that it’s over, the guys leave & it’s just him alone in his cell with nothing.

Romper Stomper or Wolf Creek maybe.
