Instead of making flag burning a modifier to rioting, the administration should prosecute riot related crimes that are ALREADY on the books. Agents and journalists are attacked EVERY night in Portland and they’ve been attacking the facility for months.

The Portland Police Chief did an interview today *attacking* independent journalists for exposing the violent terrorists that he allows to run the city. He’s humiliated and knows Portland is under siege. Now the Trump Administration has to step in to fix it. Conservatives like Nick Sortor are jailed while Antifa runs wild, violently terrorizing the city. Maybe Chief Bob Day should stop locking up journalists and start locking up domestic terrorists…

President Trump called for a 1 year in prison if someone burns the American flag earlier today at Fort Bragg, NC. *in almost every circumstance* where an American flag is burned in protest multiple crimes are already being committed but the people who burn the flag are almost never prosecuted for those crimes. That could likely be fixed in many cases with the DOJ if they were directed to prosecute such cases. This would also be a clear violation of the 1st Amendment unless he's calling for a Constitutional amendment and maybe he is. But, the 2nd, 4th, 10th, & 14th amendments (probably more but those jump to the front of my mind while typing this) have already been turned into second class rights that are regularly trampled on by the federal government. We don't need to add the 1st amendment to that list IMO. I obviously don't like to see our flag be burned but I also believe the 1st amendment is pretty clear on this.

The protesters who gathered to demonstrate against the shooting of two Tren de Aragua members by Federal agents in self defense immediately took the street back over... things are only going to escalate again in Portland with the current temperature.
