Well roofers run the biggest scam. The whole industry relies on "free roof paid for by your insurance"

After the LA fires, homeowners are facing payout delays, rising costs, and tough decisions. Insurance expert Karl Susman explains what’s really happening with claims and what the future holds for coverage in high-risk areas.

I got my attorney involved in my last claim and you wouldnt believe how fast they paid for everything I wanted....

There is no hail damage to that roof. This roofer is a scammer.

I mean as a contractor I could walk any roof and tell you the material is damaged and that the roof needs to be replaced. Doesn’t mean the roof is bad or worth raising your premiums. We do this all the time because we make more money if we can argue roof needs to be replaced

Allstate does suck, but, as a Roofer who does this daily, you will catch more flies with honey. The majority of adjusters are decent and will work with you, this Allstate dude is just kind of a tool, they do exist “Kevin!” 😂

All State sucks ass! Took them 8 months to pay a $25k settlement to me. That was in 2018. So I assume they’ve only gotten worse since then.

Before I rush to judgment, Is main character the home owner or a GC trying to get a contract for roof replacement and it’s contingent on Allstate approval a certain amount in the claim?

If you’re home, when it is hailing Run outside and make a video of the pieces hitting your roof, then show your front door, state your name, address, date, etc. That way they cannot deny it. Chance of being hit by hail is pretty high, but at least you’re having a roof lol

statefarm is a scam when it comes to paying out roof claims.

Roofing companies are the scam artists. They send people door to door claiming roof damage when they know there is none just to get people to submit a claim hoping it’ll be covered. Tell 10 people to file, 1 gets paid and bam the roof company gets paid.

Why are you trying to replace a roof for hail damage? Does that do anything REALLY to the structural integrity of the roof? I wouldn't think so....

So are roofers out there bleeding every dollar they can get out of the insurance company. If it was done cash with the homeowner, they'd only be able to charge a third of what they get from insurance.

State Farm is the same way. Just switched to Erie.

If you have to put your finger on asphalt shingle to identify hail, then you don’t know what you’re doing. It’s obvious in the video who the scammer is.

Roofers are the scummiest. Defrauding insurance companies of BILLIONS and jacking up insurance rates.

Why do Americans use this tar tile roofing, corrugated iorn is where it's at.

Don’t worry, they’ll send the homeowner a cancellation letter for granule loss

I was an agent for Farmers… for over a year… I quit when a man had his work truck stolen and was denied his claims because of failure of the agent… a clerical error… Dudes life was fucked… his business went under, wife and kids gone So fucked… biggest scam in the Workd

Kinda wish insurance companies would stop covering roof damage. Maybe prices would drop.

It’s usually roofing companies that do this to scam the insurance companies…

Granules? The correct term is shingle berries

Bro was tryna make a CHECK aint no hail damage 🤥

Or maybe don’t be a scumbag “roofer”

Yet when the government declares disasters and the taxpayers are given the lions share of the bill, they pay out without question. File a claim without that, and you get level after level of bs.

Insurance Companies legit hate roofers lmfao

Allstate and statefarm are the worst .They are terrible for roof claims .Liberty ,progressive ,farmers and travelers are ok

I FUCKING HATE INSURANCE COMPANIES

I used to be an independent adjuster that did overflow claims for the big names. I would never have Allstate insure my home after that. Their requirements were for beyond all the other companies and would try to give partial payments

hate to break it to ya but that guy just has no clue what he is talking about not really an Allstate thing more like a hiring manager problem

Roofers are salesmen. Remind me of the old time elixir salesmen.

🤬🤬🤬

Of course the roofer wants to replace the entire roof. More money for him. Then everyone cries when their premiums go up. It’s because of scammers like this. It goes both ways.

Also, if there’s collateral damage and five or six definite hits, the insurance company is cooked on arguing against a lot of questionable hits. This just comes down to, the adjuster woke up in a bad mood. Also playing it nice with the adjuster, usually avoids the fight.

This guy is a fuckin' scam, lol... 😂
