These water trucks are heading from Russia's Rostov toward Ukraine. Due to Russian occupation, Donetsk region has been left without water. The region is currently suffering from extreme heat, and water is almost entirely unavailable. Both drinking and technical water now has to be delivered to more than 1.2 million residents of Donetsk and Makiivka, as well as to half a million people in other towns and cities. There is also a shortage of water for Russian soldiers from the "Center" and "East" military groupings. The hopelessness of the situation is not that there is no way to deliver water - because of leaky pipes, destroyed water intakes, and pumping stations. The real disaster is that the water itself has physically run out. In the Donetsk coal basin, nearly all mines have been flooded during the occupation. As long as the mines were operating or kept in dry conservation, water was regularly pumped out. But after Russian forces occupied the city in 2014, they first sold all the equipment from these mines for scrap metal, and then simply flooded everything. Flooding the mines means stopping the pumping of water from them - disrupted water horizons, underground rivers, etc. do their job. The tragedy is that once a mine fills up, its contents mix with these groundwater horizons. The resulting excess pressure forces this mine water to rise to the surface, creating huge rust-colored swamps - that's iron oxide. As a result, all water horizons in Donbas are now unfit for any use. This is a massive environmental catastrophe that no one is talking about.

Apart from the fact that the turbidity level of most rivers have moved from bad to worst in the last 8months, let no one mislead you to accept just tubidity level as measure. It’s just one indicator. What is the true measure of water quality is the WATER QUALITY INDEX by the Water Resources commission. It uses the turbidity levels and other 4 indicators to ascertain our water quality. That’s more comprehensive. st ixahalli Trors in the rdmye thewer And the records from 2005 - 2024 show clearly that, the water quality deteriorated from bad to worst anytime the NDC is in power and improves when NPP comes to power. As at 2010 when the river Galamsey escalated in earnest under the NDC government, the 40 fairly Good water were destroyed and as at 2016, the NDC left us with only 15 Fairly Good water and 25 Poor quality water. The NPP between 2017 - 2024 improved our water 15 to 29 Fairly Good water and reduced the poor quality water from 25 to 10 with 1 Good Quality water. Let no one tell you otherwise, the data is available online. Read for yourself. Galamsey remains a major challenge for this country and the earlier this NDC government realizes the times we are in, stop referencing Akufo-Addo and get to work to fix the situation the better. The record of the NDC per the data is clear. Times have changed and people are now ready to hear and understand the issues than they did in the past and there will be no room for misleading information. #GalamseyEnablers

I have seen several DANAs in my life, but this one, due to its intensity and duration (it has not yet ended), is the worst. And it has been and continues to be different. Something has changed. It would have been much worse if it were not for the fact that the city of Valencia is protected by a colossal work that diverts the water from the river outside the city. This diversion of water saved Valencia, but it reached its maximum as it had never reached before. The fundamental containment dam, although it is from the 19th century, also held up. The surrounding cities have been the most affected. And the videos and images of destruction are impressive. Kilometers of destroyed cars is something I had never seen before. There are many victims and many more will appear.😥 And it is human fault. The rivers dried up decades ago. In some areas centuries ago. And we forget that the water flowed down there. And we build houses, housing estates, industrial estates and even cities, without respecting the natural path along which the water flowed, and when a DANA comes, it flows again. Nature does not forget, but we do. DANAs are a fundamental part of our meteorology and our life here. Almost every year there is one somewhere in the region. The silt that the DANAs drag are what then make the fields very fertile in the low areas. I hope that in a few weeks, when everything returns to normal, we will have learned something from this lesson. Note: DANA is the Spanish acronym for "isolated depression at high levels" I found this video in one of my WhatsApp groups. I don't know who the author is. If any knows, please let me know.

Water Resources Commission has been tracking 41 Water bodies in Ghana since 2005 till date. The NDC Government displays 6 water bodies and ignores the 35 water bodies Becos they are in a worst situation and is asking for praises?. Sometimes, I wonder “who is doing” this government. Nice stakeholder engagement organised, very progressive conversation and then out of no where “boom” you start mounting pressure on your own selves about some progress you claim you are making even in the face of contrary facts. Now, all you have done is invite others to prove to you, that out of the 41 water bodies being tracked by the water resources commission, 35 of them are in a worst situation now than in the past and that is why you refuse to show the data. Central region is in crisis as we speak, the turbidity level in the Ayensu River has risen from 14,000 NTU in 2024 to 94,000 NTU as at now. Why isn’t that part of the rivers you displayed today. Where is the data for the rest of the 35 water bodies. You mount pressure on your own selves and when you are questioned you start screaming. Who sent you! Let me state it here again, Water turbidity levels are not the measure for water quality. The true measure of water quality is the WATER QUALITY index which uses turbidity levels, Nutrients and two other elements to determine the purity of the water levels. The attempt by this government to use 6 water bodies out of 41 to gaslight the entire country is not only laughable but unnecessary. Fine event but they are spoiling it with propaganda. I mean how?? Our dear doctor speaking here is worried and that’s legitimate cos she can see through the gaslighting. Stop buying the Galamsey gold Stop your party people from doing Galamsey Fulfil your galamsey campaign promise Stop the whining and blame games and fix the menace #galamseyEnablers #galamseyevidence

This post has 375k Likes. Americans are learning our chicken is not only dunked in chlorine, but it’s legally allowed to absorb a certain percentage its weight in chemical water, “without having to be reported as water added” “Did you know that our chicken is dunked in chlorine? Did you know that unless your chicken is labeled as air chilled, that when it is killed, it is dumped in a water bath that has chemicals in it to keep the water sterile and it can absorb 12% of its weight without having to be reported as water added. So when you go and you thaw your chicken and all that water comes out, that's not just because it was in the freezer. That is because there's water added into the chicken with chlorine and other chemicals in it that absorbs into the meat of your chicken and then runs out when you thaw it, and that's why sometimes chicken feels stringy. So if you're trying to eat organic antibiotic free, you don't just need to look for an organic label. You need this. You need the air chilled. That is not chilled with any of those chemicals. (In video) I wouldn't have known any of this if I hadn't started buying my meat from a local processor. And the guy talked to me about it, and he educated me on how our meat is processed in this country. And the answer is with a lot of chemicals that they don't tell us about” FSIS regulations require labeling for any retained water above what naturally occurs in the meat. (Naturally occurring is now considered to be roughly 8% of the meats weight)

The Idaho Farmland Water Shutoff Rabbit Hole “Wanna come down a rabbit hole with me? If you haven't heard, right now in Eastern Idaho, 500,000 acres of farmland is without the use of water. This happened on May 30th when the Department of Water Resources ordered 6,400 groundwater users to shut off their water. They're saying it's due to a predicted yearly shortfall and to noncompliance to mitigations. But this is a half a million of farmland. That's our food supply. And Idaho farmers are asking for our help. They are asking that we call the governor and let him know that water curtailment is not the answer. Here's where the rabbit hole comes in. Buckle up. And again, I am nobody. I'm just an American. These videos are for entertainment purposes only, and none of this is my opinion. Here are some facts that can be found with an Internet search: There's a company called Jervois Operating out of Salmon, Idaho. This is a $150 million dollar facility (see video) that was then given an additional $15 million from the Department of Defense. And as of June 2024, today, now, they've been given the green light to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they're mining for cobalt. Cobalt's used for lithium batteries, and they need to use a lot of water to do so. But that's been known. There were numerous articles warning about this situation. It's known that the extraction process leads to water scarcity, and that water curtailment order came one day prior to that company getting the green light to mine 24/7. But remember, lithium is used for the batteries in our phones, the batteries in electric cars, and for military infrastructure. So do with that information what you will. But the farmers, they're simply asking that we call and let the governor know that water curtailment is not the answer.”
