intelligence doesn’t matter anymore before the industrial revolution, physical strength factored into how much money you made then it became about how smart you were ai makes intelligence free what’s left is agency. decide what you want and be relentless about it

What matters is delusional optimism. Our parents told us we could be whatever we wanted. And they were right. I want to be a miullionaire

The premise is off a bit but I get the underlying point. Physical strength pre-industrial revolution, physical str may have influenced your wage, but wages was not worth a money was tho.. land rents, inheritance, guild monopoly rights, legal status .... Physical strength pretty much occupied the bottom of the distribution, and the causality was mostly backwards- richer people could afford better nutrition and stronger bodies

The main determinant of success before the Industrial Revolution was land ownership. After the revolution, it was ownership of the means of production (which also included lands), nothing to do with being smart or strong lol

You oversimplified the whole thing. AI drastically lowers the cost of many tasks, but agency is not independent of intelligence. An army of dumb mfs + AI is still < than a smart mf + AI That said, the only thing that is free rn is Unstable Coin at these levels solana:CB9dDufT3ZuQXqqSfa1c5kY935TEreyBw9XJXxHKpump

A powerful perspective. In a world where knowledge is becoming more accessible, the ability to take action, make decisions, and stay committed will become even more valuable. Intelligence may open doors, but discipline, creativity, and determination are what turn ideas into results. The people who can adapt and move with purpose will always have an advantage.

Wrong, AI doesn’t make intelligence free If you ask the wrong questions or approach a problem the wrong way, AI will only accelerate your mistakes AI amplifies your actions: smart or stupid

As Naval Once said: "The only true test of intelligence is if you get what you want out of life." & I'm sorry to break it to you but you can't prompt an agent to do that for you.

Information is free, yes. Knowledge may be free, yes. Intelligence is the measure of these are applied. The concept is accurate, but these are three separate points not to be confused all as one.

so you think that someone with a 70 IQ + AI is on a level playing field with someone with a 130 IQ + AI?

LOL. Intelligence matters more. You need to know how to use AI. You need to be relentless as mentioned. Maybe you mean "education doesn't matter anymore"?

Ai makes some intelligence free But some intelligence simply can’t be bought

wisdom is the new intelligence. joe hudson (who coaches sam altman and research teams across openai, anthropic, deepmind, apple) has the best explanation why his logic is simple: every major technology shift in history changed which human skill mattered most 1. before the industrial revolution, physical strength was the edge. farming, building, hauling goods, fighting wars. the stronger you were, the more you could produce and the more you were worth 2. then machines took over the physical work. so the edge shifted to learned skills. you could learn a trade, work a factory line, operate equipment. the skill was knowing how to do the thing 3. then the information age hit and the edge moved again. raw intelligence. if you could process information, write code, analyze systems, solve complex problems, you had the advantage 4. now ai is outsourcing intelligence. you can get a free tool to write your emails, research your market, analyze your data, build your software so what's the edge now? wisdom. sounds abstract until you break it down: it's the quality of the decisions you make. > can you see patterns others miss? > can you decide well on where to direct the ai? > can you do the hard thing when everyone else avoids it? > can you spot which opportunity is real and which is hype before you waste 3 months on it? in other words, a form of taste and emotional intelligence hudson put it like this: "if I can get 70 people to run a company for me, they're all free and they're all AI agents, then the question is, what are the decisions I'm making to make that company successful? What advice am I taking? How am I listening advice? How do I create alignment between the five or six people?" ai handles the thinking, but only you can handle the deciding we're moving from knowledge workers to wisdom workers
