War between Ethiopia 🇪🇹 & Eritrea 🇪🇷 isn’t on the horizon. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹 has explicitly stated that Ethiopia has no intention of pursuing war with Eritrea or any other neighboring countries, particularly over the issue of Red Sea access. While Ethiopia views access to the sea as a critical national interest, it prefers a peaceful diplomatic approach over confrontation. As siblings who are scarred by conflict, disagreements are inevitable between Ethiopia & Eritrea but resolving disagreements in a civil and peaceful manner benefit the families straddling the border.
