The guy in the car actually fired at the officers first and in this case since there was video the officers were in the right. And it seems like they knew he had a gun when they stopped him, plus he didn't comply

The guy in the car created all the tension and unfortunately, the cops were a bit unco-ordinated in this life and death situation! They could have shot each other due to them standing on opposite sides of the subject! The drivers lack of co-operation led to his own death!
