ADHD isn’t an “attention deficit.” It’s a profound developmental disorder of self-regulation. Dr. Russell Barkley (one of the world’s leading ADHD researchers) explains why the name “ADHD” has done massive damage: - It trivializes a condition as serious as autism, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder. - It makes people think “just drink coffee and focus” — when the real issue is far deeper. The core problem isn’t just distractibility. It’s three interlocking executive deficits: 1. Persistence toward the future — inability to stay motivated by delayed rewards 2. Resistance to distractions — constant derailment by immediate temptations 3. Working memory — struggling to hold goals, plans, and consequences in mind Together, these create a devastating impairment in self-regulation — the ability to consciously inhibit impulses, direct actions toward yourself (self-talk, self-monitoring), and align behavior with long-term welfare. Barkley: “This is not an attention problem. This is a disorder of self-regulation… as serious as manic depression, and in its own way, as autism.” Parents often hear “he’s just lazy” or “she needs to try harder.” The truth is far more compassionate and urgent: The child’s brain is developmentally behind in the very mechanisms that allow other kids to stop, think, plan, and protect their future selves. If we renamed it Self-Regulatory Developmental Disorder (SRDD), the conversation would change overnight. How many adults do you know who still struggle with exactly these same three deficits — and were never properly understood as kids?

Training for an Ultra in 100 Degrees I think there’s an argument that this year’s Javelina 100 was the hottest super-competitive ultra ever run. Nearly 100 degrees record heat, absolutely no shade or creeks, with a 5-day desert pre-bake. Also, I always thought that I sucked in hot weather. We were going to have to science the crap out of this problem. My heat training protocol involved 3 interventions: 1. Passive heat exposure via hot tub. Studies on hot water immersion show an increase in blood volume and heat tolerance, plus enhanced capillary function 2. Active heat exposure via heat suit training. Since 2021, 10+ studies have shown that as little as 3 weeks of heat suit training sessions can increase hemoglobin mass. My heat suit involved a base layer of normal running clothes, a sweatshirt under a down jacket, and polyester sweatpants under winter rain pants. Plus a fuzzy hat 3. Strenuous heat exposure via treadmill workouts in a warm room Here is the protocol Megan and I settled on to balance stress with training adaptations: 1. Hot tub at 104 degrees F 2-3 times per week. I stayed in until my heart rate reached 100-110 (100 on rest days, 110 when immediately after training) 2. At 4 weeks out, I started using the heat suit for 15 minutes on the uphill treadmill after runs 3 times per week, starting at moderate intensity to get my core temperature up rapidly, then dialing it back. 3 weeks out, I added 1 x 90 minute heat suit run. 2 weeks out, 1 x 90 min heat suit bike plus a 1 hour heat suit run 3. Two massive treadmill workouts in a room that was around 80 degrees 2.5 and 3.5 weeks out 4. On race week, I did hot tub every day including the day before the race, since studies show the hemoglobin mass adaptations can reverse rapidly In the race day furnace, my main goal was to gaslight myself into thinking I enjoyed the heat (which is also backed up by studies finding that emotional perception of temperature influences physiological response). In reality, I still don’t love the heat. But I love science. And I think we scienced this problem so hard that I had one of the better heat performances ever 🔥🧡 Race video from the amazing Emily Cameron 🙌

PLEASE BE AWARE📣 This is a leaked video from a "brain-washing session" of Herbalife cult in India. The Herbalife high-seller claims that major Indian athletes such as Virat Kohli and Smriti Mandhana have been using Herbalife products for a very long time and their athletic quality has improved because of Herbalife. He also tells the gullible and poorly informed crowd of people to "avoid and look away from scientific literature and side effects of Herbalife products." - because none of that matters because Herbalife is used by major Indian star players. The Herbalife seller specifies that because Smriti Mandhana is taking Herbalife products and she's playing top level cricket, everyone should ignore the large body of evidence on Herbalife related liver failure and deaths. Out of all major liver injuries, liver failure and liver transplantation due to herbal and dietary supplements in the world, Herbalife products have always featured as the common cause globally. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, USA run LiverTox calls Herbalife as a "well established cause of clinically apparent liver injury" The Latin-American Drug induced Liver Injury Network has identified Herbalife products as one of the commonest causes for severe liver injury Herbalife related liver toxicities keep getting reported from all over the world, like this one here A recent systematic review and metanalysis showed that Herbalife still featured as one of the top agents causing liver injury along with other liver toxic agents. Herbalife products were also found to be associated with mania and other neuropsychiatric disorders in a recent systematic review and metanalysis of multiple studies Herbalife products where also found to be associated with rare but life threatening diseases of liver and it's blood vessels in a recent report concerning couple of patients And finally... ...Large scale systematic reviews have shown that Herbalife related products always feature as top causes for severe liver injuries world over. Who will reign in these rabid multilevel marketing malignancies on public health in this country? Time to wake up and take notice.

𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗢 — 𝗦𝗢 𝗜 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟. Andrew Huberman recently told Bill Maher something that sounds wild — that the long-wavelength red and infrared light present in sunlight and old incandescent bulbs actually passes through your body, charges your mitochondria, improves your vision, and helps regulate blood sugar. And that the short-wavelength-dominant LED lights now in most of our homes may be quietly undermining mitochondrial function. His words: 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺. I was skeptical too. So I looked it up. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱. Professor Glen Jeffery at University College London — one of the researchers Huberman specifically names — published a study in 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 in July 2025 confirming that infrared wavelengths from sunlight measurably pass through the human torso, even through clothing, and that just 15 minutes of exposure improved color vision by 16% (blue axis) and 9% (red axis) in participants — measured 24 hours later, even when light was blocked from their eyes during exposure. A separate study from the same lab showed that red light exposure reduced post-meal blood glucose spikes by 27%. These aren't fringe blogs. This is University College London published in Nature's Scientific Reports. The mechanism Huberman describes checks out. Your mitochondria contain water that absorbs long-wavelength red and infrared light — the same reason reds disappear when you go underwater. That absorption drives better ATP production, the energy currency of your cells. The retina has more mitochondria per cell than almost any other tissue in the body, which is why vision improvements show up as such a clean measurable signal. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲. The Biden administration's energy efficiency regulations effectively phased out most incandescent bulbs. The stated reason was energy savings. What was never part of the regulatory conversation — at all — was the growing scientific literature suggesting that the near-infrared wavelengths stripped out of LED lighting may have real biological consequences. Whether that was ignorance or indifference, the result is the same: Americans were nudged by government policy into lighting that the emerging science suggests is metabolically inferior. 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁? Huberman himself is practical about this — he has LEDs at home and isn't panicking. Here's what the science actually points to: The primary solution is sunlight. Outdoors sunlight delivers near-infrared at levels no bulb can match. Even 15 minutes outside — clothed — appears sufficient to trigger measurable effects. If you work near a window, that helps too. For indoor lighting, not all LEDs are equal. Look for "full spectrum" or "broad spectrum" LED bulbs that include wavelengths in the 600–900 nm range. "Warm white" LEDs (2700–3000K color temperature) are closer to incandescent output and include more red-spectrum light than the cool blue-dominant bulbs. They're not a perfect substitute for sunlight, but they're meaningfully better than standard cool-white LEDs for this purpose. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: get outside every day. Eat near a window. If you're replacing bulbs, choose warm-spectrum LEDs. And maybe ask why a government that claims to care about public health never thought to ask what stripping infrared out of every American home might do to the people living in them.

🚨 Charlie Kirk: FAILED Mass Shooting Event & 3 BRAND NEW Evidence Points More 2-Shot Theory Evidence To Consider: - The 2-man camera crew in the tunnel DELIBERATELY filmed the rear-right shot to Charlie Kirk's head. Why wasn't this evidence at court? Where is this video? - Dan Flood gave hand signals to start the operation. Dan Flood had no idea that an infrared beam wasn't just on the back of Charlie Kirk's head, but the beam was also on him during his hand signal. - Phil Lyman was directly in the LINE OF FIRE with an infrared beam on the back of his head too, but absolutely didn't know it. If Phil didn't miss Charlie Kirk being assassinated, we would VERY LIKELY be looking at a mass shooting event involving a Presidentially pardoned political candidate. This addition to Charlie's death would have caused a civil war overnight. I'm giving away so much tea before I release Charlie Kirk: Operation 322 PART VI... And I have a lot more to give! Charlie Kirk was shot TWICE at the same time; once by Bird of Prey drone platform, once with a pinfire pistol. I discovered this and released everything you need in my Charlie Kirk: Operation 322 series on YouTube. It's 8 hours long, but you can just check out PARTS IV & V if you're pressed for time. You can also read my "Charlie's CLOSURE" article right here on X... The second video in the article has a 10 minute frame-by-frame analysis that details both shots. CKO322 PART VI will show you ALL of the details on how this MASS SHOOTING operation actually failed... Stay Tuned...

🚨 President Donald Trump, next to Joe Rogan and RFK JR, signed an executive order today “Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness.” Primarily Including psychedelics. It directs the FDA to fast-track reviews of certain psychedelic drugs—primarily focusing on ibogaine (a substance derived from the African iboga plant), along with others that have received Breakthrough Therapy designations (such as some forms of psilocybin or MDMA-related compounds). Reported/potential benefits: • PTSD and Trauma (Especially Veterans): Ibogaine has shown promise in reducing PTSD symptoms, intrusive thoughts, and emotional numbness in small studies and anecdotal reports from veterans. It may “reset” brain pathways disrupted by trauma, offering rapid relief after one or few sessions (unlike weeks/months of traditional meds or therapy). • Depression and Anxiety: Certain psychedelics (e.g., psilocybin) can promote neuroplasticity—helping the brain form new connections—which may lead to lasting improvements in mood for treatment-resistant depression. Effects can be profound and quicker than standard antidepressants. • Addiction (Opioids, Alcohol, etc.): Ibogaine is noted for potentially interrupting addiction cycles, reducing cravings and withdrawal in some users, by affecting brain reward systems. • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): Early research suggests benefits for cognitive and emotional recovery in veterans with head injuries. • Overall Mental Health Crisis: Proponents argue this could provide new tools for severe, persistent cases, potentially lowering suicide rates and long-term healthcare costs by offering alternatives to lifelong pharmaceutical dependence.

"Ivermectin's Miraculous Results For Neurological Conditions Of Parkinson's & Alzheimer's." Dr William Makis Buried Research, Deleted From Google, Has Been Found, Proving Ivermectin Reverses Alzheimer's. Neurological Disease Improves In Only A Few Days On Ivermectin Therapy... Dementia affects more than 55 million people globally, with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) being the most prevalent subtype. These neurodegenerative disorders, including debilitating Parkinson's Disease, progressively impairs memory, cognition, daily functioning, muscle & body control. As interest grows in repositioning known compounds for neurodegenerative applications, ivermectin—a macrocyclic lactone with FDA-approved antiparasitic use—has surfaced as a candidate for neurological disease therapy. Deleted Research Study That Google Scrubbed... I Found It Last Week After Hours Of Research. Here Is A Paraphrased Summary In 'Non Scientific' Regular Language: 70 male Wistar rats were used in the research study. At baseline the rats had cognitive ability to do a task session at the rate of 2.8 minutes with 1.3 errors. Alzheimer's Disease (AD) was induced by injecting them with ALUMINUM CHLORIDE until their cognitive ability to do the same task session regressed to the slow rate of 6.5 minutes with 4.4 errors. These rats were then given IVERMECTIN for 4 consecutive weeks. The same task session improved drastically from 6.5 minutes back to only 3.6 minutes. And the rate of errors improved from 4.4 back to only 1.4 errors. Almost back to baseline in only 4 weeks at 3.6 minutes with 1.4 errors. Recent studies have explored its effects on neuroinflammation, neurotransmission & synaptic protection. Ivermectin’s Effects On Neurological Disease: 1. Anti-Inflammatory Effects: A 2023 study published in Inflammation demonstrated that ivermectin mitigates neuroinflammatory damage in encephalomyelitis. Ivermectin reduced inflammatory cytokines. 2. Stabilizes Neurotransmission: A 2019 study in PLOS Pathogens found that ivermectin restores balance in synaptic neuro pathways. 3. Cholinergic Transmission: A 2024 study published in Cell & Bioscience reported that ivermectin increased activity of striatal cholinergic interneurons, enhancing dopamine release via nicotinic receptor modulation. Conclusion: Ivermectin is emerging as more than an antiparasitic agent. Its anti-inflammatory, synaptic & cholinergic effects are beneficial in neurodegenerative disorders like Dementia, Alzheimer's & Parkinson's. Dosages suggested by Dr William Makis: Parkinson’s: Patients on high-dose ivermectin (60-72mg) saw dramatic improvements in movement & symptoms. - Multiple cases of symptom reversal—where tremors, stiffness & rigidity significantly improved. Alzheimer’s: Patients on low-dose ivermectin (12-24 mg for 4-5 days) brought back memories, recognition & cognitive function in patients. Why Isn’t This Everywhere? - A preclinical Alzheimer’s study proving ivermectin’s healing ability was SCRUBBED from Google. - Big Pharma doesn’t profit from a safe, cheap, Nobel Prize-winning drug that reverses neurodegeneration. This isn’t theoretical—it’s happening NOW in real patients. Decades of suffering could be reversed by a few pills. If you have a loved one with Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s—TRY IT. The results could be LIFE-CHANGING. 👇Ivermectin Reverses Alzheimer's (Deleted Study)👇 👇Ivermectin For Autoimmune & Neurological Ills👇 👇Ivermectin Increases Choline & Dopamine👇 Speaker: Dr William Makis, Nuclear Medicine Physician & Cancer Researcher

The Dark Secrets Of Johnson & Johnson...One Of The World’s Most Admired Corporations Is Also Its Deadliest Criminal Enterprise. Gardiner Harris J & J Targeted Nursing Homes To Use Antipsychotic Medications As 'Chemical Restraints' While Knowing Full Well It Would Kill Millions. 1 in 5 nursing home residents are prescribed an antipsychotic medication as 'off label' for use as a 'chemical restraint.' Keeping nursing home residents quiet benefits the facility. Antipsychotics like Johnson & Johnson's Risperdal are given to patients with dementia, often without informed consent, to control & sedate behavior. Risperdal is an antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of bipolar disorder & schizophrenia that Johnson & Johnson claimed had fewer side effects than its older antipsychotic, Haldol. Johnson & Johnson illegally marketed the use of Risperdal to elderly patients with dementia. Risperdal led to strokes, pneumonia, heart attacks & death. Risperdal & many other antipsychotic medications should never be used on patients with dementia. These antipsychotics are for specific diagnostics only...Schizophrenia & Bipolar. The package insert of Risperdal displays the harshest warning known as 'the black box warning' which is the most severe warning on a drug label: RISPERDAL® is not approved for use in patients with dementia-related psychosis. WARNING: INCREASED MORTALITY IN ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH DEMENTIA RELATED PSYCHOSIS Elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis treated with antipsychotic drugs are at an increased risk of death. Analyses of 17 placebo-controlled trials (modal duration of 10 weeks), largely in patients taking atypical antipsychotic drugs, revealed a risk of death in drug-treated patients of between 1.6 to 1.7 times the risk of death in placebo-treated patients. The deaths were cardiovascular (e.g., heart failure, stroke, sudden death) or infectious (e.g., pneumonia) in nature. Yet, despite the black box warnings added in 2005, nursing home residents are still given antipsychotics everyday as part of their polypharmacy 'medication cocktail' to keep them sedated & compliant. Drug manufacturers need to be held accountable for marketing drugs for uses that are known to be dangerous. Nursing facility staff need training & sufficient staffing to manage behaviors without resorting to drugging patients. 👇Risperdal Package Insert👇 👇No More Tears: The Dark Secrets Of J & J👇 👇The History Of Risperdal Warnings👇 Speaker: Gardiner Harris Podcast: Dr. Josh Axe

Why Aren't We Talking About This? Clinical Trials Show Reversal of Diabetes, Hypertension, and Even Mental Illness in Weeks—Not Years—Through Diet Alone. A medical revolution is being ignored, and it holds the key to reversing some of our most devastating chronic diseases. As documented by investigative journalist Nina Teicholz, robust clinical trials—the gold standard for science—reveal a stunning truth: a diet dramatically low in carbohydrates can reverse chronic conditions in weeks, not years. The data is staggering: • Reverse Type 2 Diabetes: In the largest clinical trial, over 50% of participants reversed their T2D within 10 weeks, including those who had it for an average of eight years. • Reverse Hypertension & Cardiovascular Risk: The vast majority of cardiovascular risk factors can be reversed. • Transform Mental Health: Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder symptoms can be reversed. Depression and anxiety can be reduced by 79%. This isn't speculative; it's proven. This knowledge has existed for a decade, yet it remains buried. Consider this: 38 million Americans have Type 2 Diabetes. How many headlines have you read about reversing it with food? Now, think of the thousands of articles on drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy. The silence on a nutritional cure is deafening—and it reveals the immense scale of the challenges we face in public health. This isn't just science; it's a testament to the power of food and a source of profound hope. The tools for healing are already on our plates.

🚨Dr. William Makis: Ivermectin Dosing for Cancer Explained In one of his recent talks, Dr. William Makis shared what he considers the most important dosing guide for using Ivermectin in cancer. According to Dr. Makis, the starting dose for most cancers is 1 mg per kilogram of body weight per day For example, a person weighing 60 kg would take 60 mg daily, that’s five 12 mg pills or roughly one teaspoon (6 ml) of liquid ivermectin. He mentioned that Ivermectin has shown positive effects in many types of cancer, including: - Breast cancer - Colon cancer - Lung cancer - Pancreatic cancer - Gastric cancer - Renal cell carcinoma - Leukemias He noted that there is very little research on lymphomas, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work, it simply hasn’t been studied much yet. Important points from Dr. Makis: 1) The anti-cancer effect of Ivermectin appears to be dose dependent. 2) Higher doses may offer better results in more aggressive cancers. 3) For very aggressive cancers (such as pancreatic, leukemia, or brain cancers), he suggests considering 2 mg/kg or even up to 2.5 mg/kg per day. Some patients have used these higher doses for many months with only temporary side effects (such as mild visual disturbances that usually resolve within a few days). Real-world examples include a prostate cancer patient whose PSA dropped from 89 to 11 on 45 mg daily, and a terminal gallbladder cancer case that resolved after 14 months on 2 mg/kg. Dr. Makis emphasizes that Ivermectin is a very safe drug with no reported long-term side effects at 1 mg/kg. He recommends starting at this dose and adjusting upwards depending on the individual case and cancer type. He also stresses that people can safely stay on Ivermectin for months as long as there is active disease. If you're researching Ivermectin for cancer protocols, many people are choosing GENIX MEDS for clean, pharmaceutical-grade Ivermectin with straightforward worldwide delivery. #Ivermectindosage #MakisMD #Genixmeds

Antidepressants: The Lifelong Sentence? How SSRIs Are Linked to Heart Disease, Suicidal Thoughts, and a Debunked Science—While Withdrawal Leaves Patients with ‘Brain Zaps’ and Permanent Sexual Dysfunction A new report in The Lancet confirms what many have feared: the pandemic didn’t just disrupt lives—it shattered mental health. Depression and anxiety in young people surged by over 50% from 2010–2019, and COVID-19 added 53 million new cases of major depressive disorder and 76 million anxiety disorders globally. In the U.S., nearly 1 in 3 adults reported symptoms of anxiety or depression last summer. The response? A 64% spike in antidepressant prescriptions for young people since 2020, with girls aged 12–17 seeing a 130% increase. But here’s the catch: Antidepressants, especially SSRIs, are now a lifelong sentence for millions. A UK study of 220,000 patients linked long-term use to higher risks of coronary heart disease, stroke, and all-cause mortality. Even the FDA’s black-box warning on drugs like Zoloft admits they can increase suicidal thoughts in young adults—the very outcome they’re meant to prevent. The serotonin theory of depression? Debunked. A landmark Nature review found no convincing evidence that depression is caused by low serotonin. Yet, Big Pharma’s marketing machine keeps pushing these drugs as the first-line solution, despite decades of questionable efficacy and mounting side effects. Withdrawal is a nightmare. Patients report "brain zaps"—electric shocks in the brain—alongside cognitive impairment and crippling anxiety. And now, a hidden epidemic: post-SSRI sexual dysfunction, where genital numbness, loss of attraction, and emotional flatlining persist even after stopping the drugs. Some never recover. Doctors dismissed these symptoms for years, blaming depression itself. Now, the European Medicines Agency has issued a black-box warning for permanent sexual dysfunction after SSRI use. Yet, in a move that defies logic, regulators are now pushing for over-the-counter antidepressants. No new clinical trials. No reckoning with the addiction, withdrawal horrors, or long-term brain changes. Just a green light to dole out mind-altering drugs like candy—echoing Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, where SOMA kept the masses docile and compliant. School shootings? Gender dysphoria in teens? Sexual dysfunction ruining marriages? The data demands we ask: Are SSRIs fueling these crises? Many mass shooters were on—or withdrawing from—these drugs. Detransitioners describe how antidepressants warped their sense of self. And sex offenders are prescribed SSRIs to kill their libido—so why are we surprised when patients lose their sexuality forever? This isn’t about denying help to those in pain. It’s about demanding transparency, alternatives, and real science. If the serotonin theory is dead, why are we still gambling with millions of lives? Why are regulators fast-tracking OTC access while ignoring the withdrawal nightmares, the permanent damage, the lack of long-term safety data? The system is broken. Pharma profits. Patients suffer. And now, they want to make it easier than ever to get hooked. We can’t stay silent.

🚨 #BREAKING: New PubMed peer reviewed study shows 84% of cancer patients taking ivermectin + mebendazole disappeared, shrunk, or stopped spreading after several months 🔻 The Study and Important Caveats: Researchers followed 197 cancer patients who took a combination of ivermectin and mebendazole (off-label, through a telemedicine service). After 6 months, 122 of them filled out a follow-up survey. Among those 122 people: 84% said their cancer had either completely disappeared, shrunk, or stopped spreading. About 33% reported “no evidence of disease” About 16% reported the tumors got smaller About 36% said the cancer stayed the same (stable) 16% said it got worse Side effects were mostly mild (mainly stomach issues) and most people kept taking the medicine. 🔻 Important caveats: • The results come only from patient surveys — no doctors independently checked scans or medical records. • There was no control group to compare against. • Many patients were also getting regular cancer treatments (chemo, radiation, surgery, etc.) at the same time. • About 38% of the original group didn’t finish the survey. • The journal later issued an official “Expression of Concern” and started an audit because of questions about the data. • The authors say these findings are just a starting point and that proper clinical trials are still needed. 🔻What kinds of cancer were included? Most common Prostate: 55 patients (27.9%) Breast: 36 patients (18.3%) Lung: 17 patients (8.6%) Colon: 10 patients (5.1%) Liver: 5 patients (2.5%) Other cancers (74 patients / 37.6%) Urologic (bladder & kidney): 9 Pancreatic & bile duct: 6 Hematologic (lymphoma): 5 Head, neck & oral: 5 Gynecologic (ovarian & uterine): 5 Thyroid: 4 Brain & neurological: 3 Multiple myeloma: 3 Melanoma (skin & ocular): 3 Sarcoma: 2 Miscellaneous/unspecified: 29 🔻Final Note: The study does not show which cancers benefited the most. All the results (including the 84% figure) are reported only as overall numbers. Clip Study

Tummy time matters, now more than ever. Why now? In the early 1990s pediatric health authorities began recommending that babies sleep exclusively on their backs as part of an aligned effort to reduce the incidence of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The campaign has been a big success, cutting the SIDS rate by more than half, but has also limited the amount of time most modern infants spend on their stomachs - making wakeful, supervised tummy time all the more important. Tummy time has many benefits. It strengthens the back, neck and arm muscles that help with holding up the head, rolling over, sitting and crawling. It helps to decrease the incidence of flat spots on the back of your baby’s head. And it can help relieve gas and constipation, just to name a few. You can begin short, supervised periods of tummy time as soon as your child is born. These earliest sessions often begin on mom’s chest - but can be done on other safe surfaces as well. Begin with 2-3 minutes at a time and work your way up. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends increasing the frequency and duration of these sessions to the point your baby spends a total of 20-30 minutes a day by the time your baby is 7 weeks old. Be forewarned that, especially early on, tummy time is a workout (and therefore not always well liked by some children) - but with time and experience will help to develop the muscle strength your newborn lacks. This little guy (shared to IG by xmarieannabelle) has got tummy time down pat. Check out his strong neck muscles and head control and that roll at the end.
