Meet Shuga, a 28-year-old visually impaired Earth Buddy who ran 21 km (barefoot!) in the ADAC Marathon in Hanover on 12 April 2026 to raise awareness for Conscious Planet – SAVE SOIL movement. He shares that just as his feet have been pushed to their limits of exhaustion, so has the soil – which is the foundation of our life. His message is powerful: “Everyone is capable of making a difference.” He was accompanied by his friend Martin, who physically guided him along the route since he cannot see. During the transitionary period, they will need help in the form of loans and carbon credits to support themselves.
