The Nigerian Muslim community online has raised over ₦5 million towards the construction of a water project in honour of the late Alhaji Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, dedicating it as Sadaqatul Jariyah on his behalf. So listen up man, these are your two options you when it comes to feeling inferior to Black men: 1. You can deny it, build resentment, and make up rumours and lies about Black people to make you feel better (which a lot of you do) 2. Or you can do what a good man does when he finds a man that has the things, attributes and characteristics that you want: you model yourself after him. You take all the good from that man, leave the bad and build a better version of you 🫵🏻

I say it as often as I can, that 1 of my wishes when I die is to have a well attended Janazah, and to witness this level of attendance within 4 hours of announcing his death, in Ramadan makes me full of gratitude. As he is honoured in death, I pray Allah make him of His honored and favored servants, grant him a rank with the righteous in Jannah 🙏🏽. Ya Allah, have mercy on Yusuf Kunle Sulyman, forgive him, wash him off his sins, elevate him, make his barzakh a beautiful abode and reunite us all in Jannah Firdaus. Painful, irreplaceable loss, but we are full of gratitude for a life well lived. May Allah forgive him for his shortcomings and for that which we don’t know of his shortcomings. Ameen 🙏🏽.
