Interesting. Answering Benedict Rogers 羅傑斯 excellent question, Mike Pompeo (in a *very* punchy reply) says that failing to secure #HongKong’s freedoms was his biggest failure in office.

@isaacstonefish @benedictrogers @mikepompeo Hong Kong can’t be free while the USUK are playing their usual games to destabilise them. Everyone knows the NGO NED CIA playbook by now & if they don’t they will soon - waving English language signs like “Trump save us” was just way too obvious during our Color Revolution there

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo Mike? He's been a liar & failure through all his life. I don't think Trump even trusts him anymore. lol

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo These liars have been leading your country, so you must've known where US is heading at. Right?

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo So Pompeo meant he failed to meddling China domestic issue when he was in office? 😂😂😂😂

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo Interesting not. You can't trust a single word he says.

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo Hong Kong was only ever leased from China under duress. When the lease expired it went back to China.

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo @mikepompeo was one of the smartest , sharpest secretary of state ever. Good choice @realDonaldTrump . Hope he is back in your new team @DonaldJTrumpJr @jaredkushner

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo Mike Pomelo has not been in government for 3.5 years and will not be in any foreseeable future. Perhaps the questions should be addressed to President Harris?

@benedictrogers @mikepompeo It's unbearable to listen to this guy telling the Chinese what's good for them. Can you imagine the Chinese dictating what's good for Americans?

A most articulate answer to a good question. Under Trump we saw Mike Pompeo at his worst, working for a President who wanted to dismantle the European alliance and other foreign policy norms. I wonder if, under a different President, he could have a positive effect on our int'l approach.
