Absolutely, yes. Most people don't realize what companies like Open AI are doing. Over the past year, they've focused on new strategies to attract more clients, but their models haven't changed. As of today, no model can truly reason; they essentially just copy and paste

Yes this is true - but as the AI tools advance in their capabilities, it’ll be archaic to continue to code manually, not using them is getting left behind. Best to move with advancement in tech.

I get the concern but I think there’s a middle ground. AI shouldn’t write all your code, but it also shouldn’t be ignored. The key (for me) is staying in control while letting AI handle the parts that don’t require deep thinking. It’s less “replace me,” more “support me.”

You can ask any AI model today to follow a pattern you have used for logging in other views "iOS", and even provide and example and still wont get it right. it just does not undestand complexity. so, AI is still to far away to be able to do the job of an engenier.
