Just watched this and then went down an Annie Lennox rabbit hole. Fucking amazing talent and a better person, and she was amazed by David.

Very cool story. David Bowie was intimidating for all the right reasons. I have met a lot of performers and prided myself on just being me, but when David Bowie was there one time I was star struck hard. A nervous, shy fool I was, haha. He had an amazing presence. Respect!

@terrychristian Feel sorry for the “youngsters” today. Growing up I had Bowie, Lennox, Freddie, Cobain, Vedder, Rose, Jackson, Madonna, John, Oasis, Blur. There isn’t anyone on their level these days.
