Interesting development with the downed in a friendly fire incident Russian aircraft this morning on the Donetsk front. With more videos of the wreckage and the moment of the crash now available, the consensus is that it was a Russian Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B stealth heavy unmanned combat aerial vehicle...

It definetly isn't an Su-25 or Su-34, but isn't it also missing this part thats characteristic for it to be an S-70? On the video you can only see one big triangle as the fuselage, but shouldn't there also be another smaller triangle in the back for its engine?

Having spent the last hr or so going over existing models to find the unique panel arrangement.. the S-70 seems plausible for sure

Definitely a S-70 and looks like half of it was blown away

If this really was an S-70, it would be quite a spectacular loss. Those things are rare and pretty big!

So they shot it down maybe because itโ€™s control was cybered.

A supersonic low-observable drone with a 25-ton MTOW. That's better than Su-25 lol.

Thats insane, lol... and Okhotnik is something that can be counted on one hand at maximum of how many of them Russians have.

Any russian AI device will immediately decide to defect to the other side.

This again proves the superiority of Soviet technology! According to the Russian description, the Ochotnik is stealth and the Red Army managed to shoot it down!

There are different points of view already:

If it s stealth, how it was detected?

Theory: the drone wanted to defect to Ukraine, so they shot it down.

@PatrickSchuess1 Must have lost control and the Russians decided to down it.

The drone AI became self-aware, and its message to its human wingman was, "Slava Ukraini."

Only truly Russian, if you shoot it down over populated areas.
