This woman had multiple sources of help including a nanny, grandparents and others. She could have killed herself without killing her kids. Full stop. NO EXCUSES

Enough with the “mental health” excuse. Every murder is the result of some form of a mental health issue be it psychopathy or psychosis. If a man loses it and goes into a swirl of emotions and psychosis when he finds out his wife cheated on him, do we use psychosis to excuse his actions? Like the person speaking said, plenty of women experience what she did and don’t end up killing their children. Why? Because they know it’s wrong and resisted the urge to do any harm to others. Like all other killers who couldn’t resist the urge to kill, Lindsay couldn’t either. This is the distinction between a normal person and a murderer.

He’s saying a lot without establishing much. Hospital connections and past professional associations are not evidence or firsthand knowledge. And changing a professional opinion because his wife disapproved raises questions about how objective that opinion really was.

People that have a history of psychiatric problems or are on medication should not have the right to vote, or the right to do anything that might involve public safety.
