We have a crack problem in the city too

I just wish people would just learn some basic geology before posting stuff like this!

Because the good guys are taking out all the fucking tunnels

Sounds to me like they’re blowing up tunnels. That shouldn’t be there. Just a guess.

Who claims this is happening and doesn’t post an example of even a picture? I call shenanigans

I live in Idaho and have for the majority of my life. This is the first time I’ve heard about this at all. Hopefully I don’t fall in one, (unless it’s my wife’s!)

There is some possible answers. One being the excessive removal of ground water. The next 'answer' could be quite alarming. IF this is occurring in southern-eastern Idaho it could POSSIBLLY mean there is a growing magma intrusion into the area. This is also where Yellowstone Park is. For those not a geologist, this is a super volcano caldera. Yellowstone has been recording an uptick in activity there for many years. If there were to be an eruption of this volcano, which does happen regularly every 600 million years (last time was 650 million year ago), well kiss America goodbye.
