It should never boil and the lid needs to stay on until cooled…..or it is released in steam. The grapefruit peels have the highest amount of quinine. It tastes so bad/bitter so you can add honey. I put it in the crockpot on warm overnight.

Boiling lemon and grapefruit peels in water does not produce hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). Hydroxychloroquine is a synthetic pharmaceutical compound (chemical formula C₁₈H₂₆ClN₃O) manufactured in laboratories through chemical synthesis. It has never been found as a natural product in any plant, including citrus fruits.

That's a con.

I woke up sick with flu/covid. Made this “grapefruit tea.” Drank 2 oz every 2 hours. By evening, was feeling better. Next morning was a little weak, but well. The second day, I ran 5k.

Sadly all citrus fruits (except organic) are sprayed with a carcinogenic fungicide, which most people are unaware of, if you check the labels they will name the chemicals in very small print. Organic fruits are hard to find in the supermarket, and generally only lemons 😡🤬😢

It's Hydrochoryquine(NOT droxy) and this is the ORIGINAL recipe!!

Apart from the fact that you can’t make hydroxychloroquine from citrus peel, I wouldn’t want to given that most if not all citrus fruit skins are treated with, imazilil, pryimethanll, 2-phenylphenol, thiabendazole, azoxystrobin & fludioxonil. Just look at the labelling.

I made up bottles of this a few years ago and froze it. Today, most people would find it difficult to make due to the increased use of pesticides, fungicides, bactericides sprays onto the skins of lemons, limes, grapefruit. 🤬

Remember to wash them with boiling water and root veggie brush because they are waxed and you don't want to eat that wax. Lots of people don't know this about citrus fruits.

Jesuit missionaries were the first to isolate quinine, found in the bark of a tropical tree that was used by the Quechua for malaria. Tonic water was a popular colonial drink made with quinine from the ‘fever tree’. I’d add quinine extract to this brew, or just have a G&T :).

Boiling orange/lemon peels will extract things like limonene (an essential oil), flavonoids (such as hesperidin), pectin, & vitamin C - none of these are hydroxychloroquine or its chemical precursors. There's no pathway by which boiling citrus peels produces hydroxychloroquine

No, it's bollocks: - Its active medical ingredient is hydroxychloroquine sulfate - The hydroxychloroquine molecule has carbon, chlorine, and nitrogen - Lemons completely lack this complex atomic setup - Scientists bond these specific elements in a lab, not a pan - So it's not HCQ

This recipe is hundreds years old! was known as the Scurvy Punch for the ships to the new world! we drink 1 large 750ml glass daily!! I would trust this recipe! and BS to all them assholes in comments!

We've been doing this for 7 years, neither of us have been sick since!

This is simply not true Andrew. Please do a simple bit of research before posting such stuff

Dandelion, Plantain and Yarrow have compounds in them that help relive the symptoms of fevers and colds. The ironic thing is a lot of people think of them as just weeds...and if they grow in a lawn will put dangerous chemicals down to kill them!

This is a dangerous suggestion for lupus sufferers who are prescribed hydroxychloroquine - they are specifically told not to eat grapefruit as this is bad for someone with lupus!

Hi Andrew, this is NOT hydroxychloroquine. That drug is a derivative of Chloroquine, and it is derived from the quinine an alkaloid in the bark of the Cinchona calisya tree, aka Jesuit's Bark. It saved millions from malaria. Forests of it were planted. It's not citrus derived.

Answer: Find the most natural fruit sources UNTOUCHED by Chemicals sprayed or fed to them, before attempting this, any Pre Chemicals will he altered by heat and become toxic to the Human body in the same way Painters Don't smoke xtra chems in the Workplace, WAKE-UP⚠️☢️😡

Quinine in the rinds of grapefruit, hydroxychloroquine is synthetic quinine

Getting the quinine out. Not wxactly hydroxychloroquine but close. Its also in tonic water

Cheap as chips isn't it! 😜. Also take l citrus fruit, or 2 ki wi eaten a couple of hours before bed aids restorative cell renewal for behind eyes, retina etc whilst also helping in good night sleep. Avacado, watermelon, mango, carrots for eye health too.

Not backed by the bent Politicians! Big Pharma can’t earn billions out of it! Plus it will cure you and they can’t have that!

Could I interest you in a pair of piss gloves big lad? I'll do 'em for £200 for you.

Why are you promoting something that can damage people’s retina? Add to the fact it’s not a natural chemical so has to be made in the lab makes you look like the dumbass that you are.

You can't make hydroxychloroquine at home by boiling citrus peels 🙄 Hydroxychloroquine is a complex, man-made pharmaceutical compound synthesized exclusively in controlled laboratory environments. It does not occur naturally in any plant, fruit, or animal.

Citrus fruits are sprayed with a chemical, so unless the grapefruit and lemons are organic then you'll be getting the chemical directly.

Is what I did in 2020. Keeps in the freezer for as long as you like.

You fucking mad, gullible fool

Been making it for the last few years 👍🏻
been making this, using it as a 'super spreader' cure for many years. I add ginger & up till recently it was my evening 'toddy' love the taste , but have now switched to a morning routine to protect my teeth from evening acid. Grok now says it is not Hydroxy.. but it works!

That isn't true though. You'll get a juice containing naringin, hesperidin, and vitamin C.

What utter bollocks. It’s almost as if your grift relied on a target audience of the terminally stupid (and a few of us who just enjoy laughing at you).
