This is a bad idea, depending on the underlying issue. Cold is analgesic (reduces pain) but reduces blood flow and leaves a "cold" pattern which, if it was part of the root cause to begin with, will make the patient worse in the long run. This is why heat is typically better for chronic low back pain (increases blood flow).

Ermmmm so many of ya'll never heard of Sciatica? It's painful AF and typically originates from DEEP DEEP in the glutes. Stretching helps but killing the nerves atm with the blue bum blaster seems appropriate... sure sure. Papa Smurk be like.... you gon' eat that? :P Real talk though... I heard DMSO was amazeballs for swelling and instant pain relief... BUT... you might end up smelling like an obese womans horrible PH level, with a shot of frog neck... and a hint of dumpter water on a hot summer day.
