Also, if you take the 4 purusharthas, viz. dharma, artha, kAma, mokSha. The each has a sutra associated with it. Out of these the one left out is kAmasUtra. The dharmasUtras are many (mentioned), and the Moksha sutra is essentially the brahmasUtra.

Since it is complicated which Kalyug people can't follow, the Bhagavad Gita is recommended to read and considered it as a scripture which is nothing but a sum and substance of all the essence of Veda. Nobody can climb the tree in this Kaliyuga.
