🚨 REMOVED!!!! The book that I read from in Palm Beach Schools is officially removed. The title of the book is: Let's Talk About It! I appreciate the board chair for removing this book along with two other books that Bonnie Wallace read from. This is a good start, but a terrible conclusion. The board chair promised us to remove all of the books, and as I speak hundreds of other books are still on the bookshelves in this District. Why is the school district holding on smut books for kids?

In 2023 and 2024 I exposed our school district’s school library system for having 6 books on Satan, 60+ books on Witchcraft, and 60+ LGBTQ+ books. Then Superintendent told me the following year they don't have more books on Jesus Christ since the school doesn't offer a world religion course. Then the Superintendent couldn't account why the school district has 6 books on Satan and hundreds others in the dark occult. We have a serious problem with evil infiltrating our public schools through school board members, teachers, books in the libraries, and after-school Satan clubs.

Palmer Luckey: “I read thousands of books before I was 13” Asked about his experience of being homeschooled as a child, Oculus and Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey replies: “I was really lucky . . . there were [a lot] of things where I was interested for my own reasons and very good at self-directed learning. I read thousands of books before I was 13. Literally thousands of books.” What kinds of books? “Everything,” Palmer replies. “The classics, science fiction, The Art of the Deal — the entire gamut of everything that you would want. I was checking out lots of books from the library. Also lots of people gave me books. Everyone knew that Palmer liked to read so people would sometimes buy me new books but more often adult friends would just dump massive quantities of books.” Palmer’s mom was also on Barnes & Noble’s registry for teachers: “She had the educator’s discount for buying stuff from Barnes & Noble. I forget what the discount was but it was some extraordinary discount. Barnes & Noble did a lot for teachers — especially back then. And so I just read, and read, and read, and read . . . I loved science. I loved engineering. I loved chemistry. Math — like real math — I was never really a fan.” source: Shawn Ryan

We have spent a century calling children failures for not fitting a system that was never designed for them. AI is about to expose just how many geniuses we threw away. MrBeast, the most watched creator on Earth, just diagnosed exactly what’s broken. MrBeast: “I graduated from school thinking books suck and books are boring and I never read a book. But reality, they were just giving me shitty books that I hated.” He isn’t anti-education. He’s anti-assembly line. Our education system is competing against billion-dollar algorithms engineered for maximum attention. And it’s fighting back with a whiteboard. MrBeast is a visual learner. He retains information three times more effectively when he sees a visual of it. The school system never told him that. It just handed him books and called him a bad student. For a century we forced every child to learn the same way at the same speed. The gifted ones were bored. The struggling ones were abandoned. And the ones who learned differently were labeled the problem. They weren’t the problem. We just never spoke their language. The traditional classroom is crowd control. MrBeast: “Just because that’s what our parents did doesn’t mean that’s what we need to subject ourselves to.” With modern technology, kids could learn more in five hours than they absorb in eight. Five hours. Then give them their childhood back. AI is about to make that possible. Not a teacher moving at the speed of the class. A 1-to-1 tutor moving at the exact speed of the individual. Detects a visual learner? Generates interactive simulations. Kid obsessed with space? Rewrites math, history, and physics around the Apollo missions. Education bound not by time, but by mastery. We will never know how many breakthroughs never came because the mind that carried them was given the wrong book and told they weren’t smart enough. That era is ending. The most powerful education system ever built is coming. And it will never mistake a different mind for a broken one.

Elon Musk: I didn't read business books. I liked biographies. “I read a lot of books and talked to lots of people. I didn't have any one person who was a mentor. But I always look for feedback from people around me and feedback from an historical context, which is basically books. I didn't read actually very many general business books. But I liked biographies and autobiographies. I think those are pretty helpful.” Interview with Kevin Rose, September 8, 2012

🍒 "I'm detoxing for my dopamine." Dopamine detox by reading. I need to bring my brain back from being addicted to pain and joy. Our brains are in pain these days. (It's been) one day. I need to cut down. I try, but it's hard... I try not to, but I find myself watching short videos. I read some books at the end of December, though—about four books. There's a Korean novel called Rapids. It's a romantic novel, and I really enjoyed reading it. What else did I read? Let's see! Oh, I read a comic book too. There's a comic book called DVD. I think I read it when I was in middle school. Or was it elementary school? Middle school? It was written by the author Chon Kye-young. A scene I like from it! And also, this picture book called Blue Duck. Dopamine detox it is! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼" Chanyeol’s reading habits are so cool! I love how he casually mentions books and novels—it makes me want to read more too.🥹🥹🥹 #Chanyeol #찬열

I remember my high school teacher giving me shit about me hyperfocusing on the gym while neglecting books. And I don't blame him, he was right. I wasn't reading any books and I wanted to. I just always found an excuse. So one day I decided to start slow. Over the next couple of months I read a few books and actually improved my reading habit by a bunch. So fast forward, one day we were having a class discussion about some book and my teacher jokingly said, "you don't get a say in this, you only read gym magazines" or something like that. I listed 5 books I had read in the last couple of months and asked him how many times he'd gone to the gym in the last month. Zero was the obvious answer. He actually started going to the gym after that, or at least that's what he told me 😂 cc: coachdango on TikTok

Clavicular explaining why he doesn't read books is foolish: "I don't really read books...you could just get the information through summaries and articles." Thinking that a book summary can replace reading a book is like thinking a movie trailer can replace watching a movie.

This children’s book contains animal noises but many of them are very sexualized and inappropriate They are so sexualized I wondered if this books maker had ties to the LGBTQ community, and it turned out Yes The book is made by Usborne Publishing. Usborne has a public “policy on gender” that emphasizes inclusivity including content that challenges traditional gender norms They even have a dedicated category for LGBTQ books and celebrate Pride month and they transgender books I think we found the problem

Iga Swiatek after beating Parry to reach Cincinnati QF “Is listening to an audio book considered reading to Iga Swiatek?” Iga: “No. No 😂. Reading is like looking at the letters you know? I’ve honestly never done that for my pleasure. I just used like, not audio book.. but to cheat in school 😂 because there were some books I just couldn’t read you know. I mean, like two of them only. Basically the only books I didn’t finish in my life. So I needed to listen to them. At school you have deadlines. I was busy playing tennis. It saved me quite some time. But that’s the only time I literally listened to an audio book”

Carl Sagan put it beautifully. "If I were to read a book a week for my entire adult lifetime, and I lived an ordinary lifetime, when I was all done, I would have read maybe a few thousand books. No more. In this library, that's from about here to about here. But that's only a tenth of a percent or so of the total number of books in the library. The trick is to know which books to read."
