This is from today's #WCWS game. This was ruled a base hit when it happened (you can see the 'H' pop up), but was changed to a missed catch error by the first baseman at the bottom of the fourth. This is an impossible catch for the first baseman with a ball thrown from that angle, that hard. This throw has to be to the glove, and while it's not a wild throw, it's low enough that the first baseman cannot get her glove around it in time. This is where replay gets you in trouble. The slo-mo replay makes it look like it's a catchable ball, but it isn't. In real time, at live speed, this isn't an error. This isn't a missed catch or a drop. I was loving the call of a single, especially because it was the first hit, and then, when it was changed, it felt like it was to protect a no-hitter. Everything about this screams "above ordinary effort" ... I would have left this as a single.

A really insane thing happened to me while I was streaming on Twitch last night. I had over 130 viewers at the time, and suddenly it dropped to 10. I did a test as shown below to tell viewers to type 1 in the chat, and there was WAY more than 10 people there. The WEIRD part about this is that usually the viewer count goes back up once people type, but it STAYED at 10 viewers for OVER AN HOUR. Eventually as time went on it dropped to 3 viewers, and eventually to 1 viewer. I raided out with 1 viewer, but the persons viewer count went up by over 100. It was not a visual bug though, my Twitch Tracker showed that I drastically fell to 10 to 3 to 1 viewer. I've seen lurkers not counted before, but now actual viewers were not being counted even after interacting. I did this test MULTIPLE TIMES, one while I was recording my stats and the other test was done before that with the chat being shown on screen. I am so confused and I can only hope this is a temporary problem.

But because they're in illegal alien, we don't know their last address. We may have known their address three years ago, but we don't know their address now.” “What we'd like to do is talk to local officials and say, you know what? According to the Medicaid rules, where was the last person, this person — or where was the last address this person was domiciled? Or according to a SNAP application, a food stamps application? 🚨BREAKING UPDATE OUT OF MAINE: The man killed in the Biddeford, Maine ICE shooting has been identified as a 26-year-old Colombian man who was authorized to work in the United States and had been issued a Social Security number. This wasn’t a “violent criminal.” This wasn’t even an undocumented immigrant. This was someone who had legal authorization to live and work here. So why was ICE trying to pull him over? A witness also says he saw a large white vehicle ram the smaller vehicle, followed by a second impact… And heard gunshots. He says he then saw an officer open the vehicle door, pull a man out with blood covering his head, and heard him say: “I tried to stop.” ICE agents do not have the authority to stop whoever they want, give conflicting orders, escalate an encounter, and then use deadly force when that situation becomes chaotic. If the government gives agents the power to carry weapons and take someone’s life, those agents have a responsibility to make sure they are acting within the law before they create a situation where someone can be killed. A person’s rights do not disappear because an ICE agent decides to stop them. Which means the question that must be answer is this… Was this man killed because ICE created a dangerous situation that never should have happened? Because when the government can put someone in a life-or-death situation, the question cannot only be whether the final seconds justified pulling the trigger. We have to ask why this encounter was allowed to escalate in the first place.

But was our presence in a 48 team World Cup an accomplishment? We've previously said this - no. We have the history of being present in World Cups that Asia had just half a slot. And we went there and were present. Is that we were not able to be one of the 32 qualifying teams and get out of our group considered a defeat? A failure, a defeat, whatever we want to call it? Yes. It would be considered. That we did not establish a clear vision for the continuation of our country's football, that we do not have a young team, in six months the Asian Cup will be held, in four years the World Cup will be held, and we have not established any clear vision ... we've talked about this multiple times ... but there was no one listening. Our team came to these matches as one of the oldest teams and ultimately was eliminated from the competition. Did we have the necessary boldness to advance from our group? In my view - no. Could we have played better? Certainly yes. That we did not with the 4 points that they had repeatedly promised and said we will get at least 4 points and definitely advance and this will happen and that will happen ... is this considered a failure? Yes. But - Let's look at the other side of the issue too. Did we not have bad luck? We had a lot of bad luck! The events that happened, like the Austria - Algeria game was the pinnacle ... meaning the events of the games and things that happened lined up in a way that we ultimately do not advance. That in the last few games every single thing that shouldn't have happened did so one after another so we get eliminated ... did we have any luck in this angle? No. But couldn't we have had our fate in our own hands? Could we have played bolder? That we have drawn with Belgium, in a situation where many small teams have stopped big teams and gotten good results ... should it be considered an accomplishment? I don't know.

🇸🇪 Can Sweden Be Saved – Or Is It Too Late? Yes, Sweden can still be saved. Sweden could be saved this year, even. We have an election come autumn. A lot is at state. Everything is at stake. Who will the next Pope be? On Halloween, 2023, I suddenly awoke with a strong premonition that it would be Cardinal Pizzaballa of Jerusalem. Now this was odd because I had never even heard of him before until about a week earlier when he was made a cardinal by Pope Francis. I felt so strongly about this that I was compelled to post it on X as a record of what I had felt (I was even given the thought that I should do it at that moment so that the algorithm could pick it up and the news could get out there). It sounds crazy, but considering that some members of my family were known to have an intuitive, almost psychic natures to them, perhaps these same cosmic forces were then prompting me with their portents. Another raid last night. This time in Islamabad, where my wife and children live; complete with AK47s, masked men, and climbing over gates. Remember. I am not an absconder. I have submitted to the law. Remember, I have bail in all the known cases against me, including May 9, where the bail is confirmed, and it is on record that no evidence was presented. Meanwhile, at least two ex colleagues who have not applied for bail, were leading a jalsa for PTIP yesterday in Peshawar. All this does, is prove who is right and who is wrong. This can't be about 9th May, because we submitted to the court and now have bail. For me this isn't about Imran Khan, as much as I respect him, it is about trying, humbly, to stand up for what's right, and the sort of politics we should have. This country shouldn't be run like this. The police shouldn't be treated as a joke. The judicial system shouldn't be disregarded. Politicians shouldn't be for sale. Maybe someone should tell me, how to explain to my children how the law works in Pakistan? Or why I left my career to serve my country, because I believe in it? Or why these cameras should be security against thieves, not the police? I hope the judiciary see this, and make up their minds about how they want the government and state to apply the law; and I hope the media see this and decide at what point they decide to call a spade a spade. We will continue to try our best, and have faith in Allah.

Although I was not the first, nor the second, not even the third pick for the football team back in 6th grade when it was time to pick who was going to be on each team... I was actually the second to last, but that doesn’t mean I’ll do poorly! The tournament also includes mental strategy games, not only sports. There are 8 different teams from distinct countries and categories that will be competing at the same place. And of course, the main purpose besides trying to win is bringing this content live in Portuguese, so we’ll be the official Portuguese broadcast, me and Felps, who will tag along to be the official narrator. The event will happen on the first and second of August, Saturday and Sunday, at 5PM BRT, and will be streamed both on my YouTube and Twitch channels and Felps' channel, where he’ll be narrating and commentating alongside me.
