Having forgiven enslaved Black people of their wickedness and answering the sincere prayers of the good white people, white Jesus abolished slavery. The moral of the sermon is that Black people don’t need to protest against the injustices of white supremacy, just wait patiently for good racist white Christians like Rev Keller to pray to white Jesus on their behalf and eventually everything will be alright. White evangelicalism is white supremacy.
