INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS & FOREIGN WORKERS PROTEST CHANGES TO IMMIGRATION POLICY "Everybody saw those changes coming, but that's not what we want," said one of the protesters, demanding a reversal of recent immigration policy changes. Given testimonies from some protesters that employers illegally sell LMIAs for $20,000, I asked her...

Identify these employers, deport them as well.

If she was working for less than minimum wage, then she was working under the table, and undercutting Canadians. She must be deported immediately.

Exploited by her own community? If employers are illegally selling LMIAs for $20,000 - are the people paying the bribes also comitting a crime? Pakistan is rated 133 out of 180 countries on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) in 2023 while India was ranked 93 out of 180 countries. Bribery and corruption are widespread and common in both countries. I'm curious. Will bringing in millions of immigrants from countries with high levels of corruption make Canada a more corrupt or less corrupt country? It seems like we have more than enough corruption as it is.

So she was here before Covid. All these people do is just lie and lie. And Canadians did not ask you to come here and replace them. We call that being a “scab”. They act like victims. It’s insane. Go home already!

You got paid less because you don't have legal working paperwork. They do that here at Subway, pay them $10 cash because they can't work legally.

FEARS OF MASS DEPORTATIONS International students and foreign workers have erected tents in Brampton, Ontario, to protest recent changes to Canada's immigration policy. They say they will not abandon their protest until the government reverses its decision. "This is the situation they created. They miscalculated how many immigrants they want, how much housing they have, how many they can accommodate over here, and now they're blaming it all on us," said one protester. I asked him if he thinks there are too many international students in Canada. He pointed out that some employers charge workers $20,000 for LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) to help convert their study permit into a work permit. "These [practices] need to be controlled. The government has to control immigration, and that's not a problem. But whatever [many] you've taken right now, you have to accommodate those, right?" he explained. "You sold a dream of a better life: Come here, study, get a work permit, stay," he added. At the protest site, signs reading "no illegals on stolen land," "no more Komagata Maru," and "no mass deportations" are displayed next to their tents. Most of the protesters are from Punjab, so I asked if they've faced exploitation from employers within their own community, whether community politicians in positions of power in Canada are helping them, and what organizations are lending aid to them. More interviews to come Media Bezirgan.

This woman was 12 minutes late to the gate and the airline gave their seats to other customers with standby tickets. The rules are rules for a reason but if the gates are still open, is this just being petty? They are there now so I don’t see why they can’t just have the seats they paid for. I remember when I was almost sprinting to the gate because the watch j was wearing stopped working, I just didn’t know it. I thought I had plenty of time so as I walked to get something to eat I saw some of the gate time displays and in the corner of the screen displayed a time. I was confused because when I looked at my watch it said 1:30pm, my flight left at 2:30pm and the time on the screen was 2:25pm. I kept walking and passed a gift shop that had a clock and it also said 2:25pm. I hurried to the employee at the shop and asked what time it was and they pointed to the clock meaning that was the actual time. I took off to the gate because I knew there was a big chance I wasn’t going to make my flight. I got there right at 2:30pm. They were getting just letting the last people on. I had my ticket in hand and she said she had to make sure I could still board. Initially when she walked back she had a worried look on her face as if she had bad news, I was prepared for the worst but luck was on my side as she said they agreed to let me on. My next flight I wasn’t so lucky but I will save that for another time. My luck ran out for the rest of the day though, it made me think if I was better off missing that flight. The guy I was sat by snored bad, I had a delay at my next connecting flight, and the food they gave me made me nauseated but I was still thankful I made it home on time.

I dated a girl once and she was extremely beautiful. She worked for DNA models. She ate a terrible diet that horrified me. She thought she had to. By far the strangest thing about her was that she would listen to the same song for over 4 hours in a row, every day She'd come home exhausted, climb into bed and put on her huge expensive headphones and start playing her song. It was this song. It was no secret, I could always hear it through the headphones. In her music app she only had this song and she put it on a permanent loop. Some days she'd listen to it for 4 hours. Other days for more. Occasionally at the weekends if she really needed to recover in bed, she'd listen for 8 hours or more When I was around her, I'd listen too. Not because I wanted to, but you could always hear it a little from her headphones, in the background. At a certain point, it started to feel normal. At the start, I asked her why she did it and she said "I just love this song, why would I listen to anything else". I really liked her answer. So I didn't challenge it. She said she'd been doing it for years Sometimes I'd pick her up from shoots in the city and the moment she met me she'd ask if she could please put her headphones on and listen to music. Then she'd start. She wouldn't do it in public without me there, because she wanted to stay aware of her surroundings. But if I was there, she could put her headphones on straight away and just trust she was safe. She'd listen to her song and rest on my shoulder and close her eyes as we rode the subway home Throughout our relationship we didn't talk much, really. It was more of a physical thing. Not in a superficial way. Not just lust. I mean that we were both completely satisfied just resting on each other, without speaking. We liked physical contact, or a sense of shared physical beingness. But neither of us needed to talk like most people do and we really savored that about each other I actually really loved it when she put her headphones on and entered her cosy, safe space. It was like she was entering into a little coccoon. With time, I realized it was a kind of recovery protocol and a meditative trance. It anchored a state of rest for her that she desperately needed. She didn't have OCD or any other compulsions. It was just this one thing. This one particular song. It was like a little cave she entered to heal from the stress of the day and burdens of existence. I dated her for 2 years and she did it every single day, up until the end. When I kissed her goodbye on the final day, she had her big headphones hanging around her neck and the song was playing through them. It was the last thing I heard, on the last day I looked into her eyes

Jesus christ we had no idea how bad it was. -During the Hogwarts Legacy controversy, Silvervale had a call with Gunrun, someone she admired. She says she was told she was “a disappointment,” “harmful to the brand,” and that her harassment was “an inconvenience” to other talents. She was told not to speak to them and was suspended from streaming. -When they left, they were discredited to staff and painted as greedy for asking for more money. (Nyanners backed this up on stream previously.) “So many horrible things just to avoid the truth that they were stealing from us.” VShojo announced Silver and Vei’s departures together to make it seem like a joint decision and blocked Nyanners from leaving at the same time. “They held her hostage.” -Silver later found out she was slandered to artists, companies, and business partners she had worked with through VShojo. -Her first VShojo contract had no exit clause. -“I made more money in the first few months of Mythic than my entire time at VShojo.” -“The threat of them suing me was very real and it haunted me for a very very long time. Even before it was announced that I was leaving... I had just mentioned in my Discord just like casually that I was stressed and needed to cancel the stream and they contacted my lawyer because of that and threatened to sue me if I hinted that I was leaving or unhappy at all. Just because I said I was stressed so imagine if I said anything else. They were watching us like a hawk. I think they were watching all of us.” -On IP rights: “Of course we keep our IPs, we started with them.” (I am still timestamping and summarizing her stream, will post my notes later) Support Silvervale. She has been through so much.

🚨 THE VERNIKOV GUN STORY THEY DIDN’T TELL YOU 🚨 Remember the Inna Vernikov gun incident at Brooklyn College? I was there When Vernikov arrived at the protest, she called me over and told me to look inside her purse. I looked inside and saw what appeared to be a handgun and a magazine. I remember thinking, “What the hell is this woman doing is she crazy? : I walked away from her. When I came back, the gun was in her waistband Then the cameras came out. I never saw her pull the gun out and point it at protesters or threaten anyone with it. But from what I personally witnessed, it sure looked like deliberately putting the gun in her waistband at a highly publicized protest was about getting attention and political clout. And here's the part that makes this story even more interesting: During the criminal case, Vernikov's attorney argued that there was no evidence someone actually saw her with the gun. Well, I did. I was standing there. And Vernikov knew I was there because she personally called me over and showed me what was inside her purse. Then she later messaged me and asked me to take down my comments about what I had seen. And while Vernikov was getting attention and political clout from the incident, protesters and others were reacting by portraying it as evidence that Jewish people were going to start bringing guns to protests and potentially shooting protesters. That put unnecessary heat on an entire community over the actions of one elected official. So who actually benefited from the spectacle? From where I was standing, Vernikov was the one getting the attention, the headlines and the political exposure. For years, the public has heard one version of what happened that day. There's a lot more to the story.

Katie Ledecky says she didn't medal in Tokyo for the first time in 36 international races, and had under an hour until the next one. "In the Tokyo Olympics, I had two medal races about 70 minutes apart." "The first was the 200 meter free." "I'm still not quite sure what happened, but I just felt off." "It was my 36th international race, and the first time I didn't medal." "And I had under an hour to get ready for my next race, the 1500 meter freestyle." "I knew I'd have to dig deep and fight." "I remember I was in the warm down pool, my brain was clouded with doubt, and I kept telling myself to relax." "I had to find a way to shake things off and focus." "That's when I started to think about my grandparents." "I envisioned my grandmothers watching me on TV back home. I pictured them cheering for me." "And if I were going to dwell on anything in those difficult moments, it was going to be on the toughness and warmth of my grandmothers." "For nearly every stroke of that 30 lap race, I just repeated their names. Grandma Hagan, Grandma Berta, Grandma Hagan, Grandma Berta." "And it worked. I swam with a sense of strength and freedom." The instruction she gave herself in that warm down pool was to relax, and she says plainly that it didn't work. She kept telling herself that, and her brain stayed clouded. What she found instead was two names, and she said them on nearly every stroke for 30 laps. You've probably tried the relax version, in the twenty minutes before something that matters, telling yourself to calm down about it. She had a whole race in front of her and she spent it on her grandmothers. - Katie Ledecky (Katie Ledecky) at Stanford Commencement (Stanford University)

update After humiliating me over my cheap car, my wife asked me for a divorce the next morning. After that work party, she didn’t come home. I called her over and over because I was worried. She never answered. She walked in the next morning just as I was about to leave for her office. She said she stayed at a coworker’s house because she drank too much and couldn’t drive. I told her she could have texted me. I would have picked her up. Her response: “With what? The Clio? ”Later that day, she said she needed to talk. Then she asked for a divorce. She said her friends helped her realize I wasn’t fit to be her husband anymore. Different values. Different lifestyles. she deserved a man of “similar worth. ”She had just been waiting for the right time. I suggested a temporary separation. I even suggested therapy. She refused. So I told her the truth. I had been thinking about divorce too. I felt like she had changed. I knew her worth after nine years of marriage. But I knew mine too. The longest argument we had after that was over the dog. We got him after the move because she wanted one, and so I wouldn’t be alone. in two years she barely spent time with him. l took care of him every day. She still made a fuss when I said I was taking him. I took him anyway. Before I left, I asked if she was cheating. She said no. I’m not hiring a PI I don’t want to know. I packed our things put the dog in the Clio, and drove back to my hometown. Seeing him happy in the same car she called an embarrassment was the first time I smiled in days .She said I wasn’t a man of similar worth. He didn’t seem to care what car I drive.

This woman is being accused of being rude by the worker, to me I think the worker was rude. She’s trying to return something without the packaging and was denied without it. So she went and bought another one and used that packaging to return the old one. She always had the receipt she just didn’t have the package. Either way she’s left with another item she didn’t need or return. I recall when I was at the pizza shop and a customer gave us the wrong address by mistake. She was babysitting and wanted pizza delivered to the customers house instead. I get a call from our driver saying he couldn’t find it, so I call her back and said that the driver couldn’t find the address, it didn’t even exist on gps. She argues with me how the home has been there for over 80 years and that my driver was too stupid to find it. I couldn’t find it on my Apple Maps either and asked her to double check the address. She told us the house number was 869 and it was actually 896. So after that I call my driver and he delivers it. Not even 5 minutes later she calls back complaining her food was cold. I told her it’s cold likely because the driver took a long time trying to find an address that didn’t exist. So once again she gets all belligerent. I refused to remake it or refund it based on her mistake and she claims I just lost a life long customer. Was I wrong for that, would you have remade it? Maybe I would have as a courtesy if she was cool about it but she wasn’t especially since it was her mistake. I usually don’t do anything unless we messed up.

Caller: "Okay. So, I've been with my wife for, we've been together since we were 14, for 14 years. I'm 32, I met her when I was 19, we had a child at 20. And, um, I've always just kind of been a butthead to her, to be honest. Every now and then I would demean her or make little comments, and I would say it started to really get bad about six weeks ago. Um, we were doing some work in the yard, and I really just blew up on her over the stupidest little thing. And then about a week later, we're just constantly arguing and dividing from each other. And then about a week or two later, she told me that she thought she was falling out of love with me. And it just really crushed me. I never would have thought that those words could come out of her mouth, and she told me that the way I treat her is, I'm not treating her the right way. And I completely owned it. I mean, I said everything you said is absolutely correct. You know, and I said, 'I don't want my son, our son growing up thinking that this is how you're supposed to treat women.' And, I mean, since that day, I have treated her like an angel. I mean, I've done everything and just constantly telling her I love her, giving her hugs, kisses. Um, but that was a Saturday night, and then Monday night she ended up telling me that she was, um, in communication with a guy she met on TikTok. And she told me she broke it off with him, and I asked her, What was the subjects about?' And she said it was just somebody to talk to about what I'm going through, my mental, you know, health. And she said it was never anything flirtatious or anything like that. She said it was just a stranger that I could talk to, but she said, 'I broke it off with him, and I'm gonna focus on us. And I said, 'I'm all in with you, let's rebuild this.' And we went about two weeks and it was just absolute honeymoon phase. I mean, we were just, never it was great. And then I went through her phone two weeks after that and found that she was on Snapchat with the guy. And I confronted her about it, and she said, 'Okay, well, I didn't think you were really gonna change, and I wanted to keep this friendship with the guy.' And she said, 'I'll break it off with him.' And I'm like, 'Okay, I guess I'll give you a second chance. I'm kind of heartbroken again that you would keep this from me. And then about a week and a half later, which was just yesterday, I went through the call logs on which, I feel bad because I'm constantly digging at all this, but every time I dig, I find something. And I confronted her yesterday that she's been talking to this guy for 30, 40, 50 minutes a day, um, the last week and a half, after she told me a third time that she was breaking it off with him. And I'm just super confused. I don't really know how to handle this. Now she's saying that she's all done talking to him, and I'm like, 'Well, how do I trust you now? You've been lying to me for the past three weeks about this.' So, that's really all I got." John Delony: "So for 14 years... you belittled your wife. She got the clear message she was beneath you. You're the smart one, you're the fast one, you're the quick one. You are the provider, you're the all this stuff." Caller: "Mhm. I always thought she was beneath me." John Delony: "Yeah, you did. And she's got that message for, for a decade and a half.

🚨 This is Young Miko’s full confession to ROSALÍA during tonight’s Confessionário in Puerto Rico. “When I was in high school, I was always very open about my sexual orientation, but I wasn’t ready to share it with the world. When I started my first year of university, I thought, “This is my moment to shine. This is where I’m going to do it. Maybe the first girl I like will come along and I’ll have an amazing time.” It was my first time living away from home because the university I attended was far from where I grew up. I was ready to meet a girl and have everything be fantastic. There were a lot of pretty girls at university, but there was one who was basically the prettiest girl on campus. Everyone had a crush on her. One day, I went to a café inside the university, where I used to go almost every morning, and she walked in. She saw the queue and said she wasn’t going to make it to class and wouldn’t be able to get her coffee. I helped her with the queue. I saw her around university that week. She came over to thank me and we ended up exchanging numbers. We started talking and would see each other around campus sometimes. I really liked her. One day, she confessed that she had a crush on me, and I told her I had a crush on her too. Then she asked if she could take me on a date. It was the first time I had openly gotten to know a girl and also the first time a girl had asked me on a date. Obviously, I said yes. The day came. I put on my favourite shirt, bought flowers, everything was very gay. We had planned to meet that evening. We were supposed to meet at eight. By eight, I was already there waiting at the table. The waiter kept coming over and asking if I wanted the menu. And she never showed up. A couple of days later, I texted her and she didn’t reply. Then, later that same week, I saw her with another girl around the university. But the years went by, and now I’m here at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, in this confession with you, telling you the story… and she’s up there somewhere.”
