That’s absolutely not what this does. That option is specifically for when you are roaming (physically) with your device and you are connecting to a network with multiple access points that are casting the same WiFi signal. This does nothing for your own home network.

This flat out wrong. Complete bullshit. The setting is “roaming aggressiveness” and all it means is switching affinity if you have a weak signal.
