Tapos ang gagawin ng companies, they will rebrand internship into a student training program of sorts na parang contest. I hope the bill defines internship as to the features that make if an internship and cover other setups/programs/schemes that resemble an internship.
Di ko gets why students have to pay a “tuition fee” when they won’t go to schools naman during that period. If they need to, only a few times to what submit papers lang. Some companies out there wala rin proper training sa interns talaga. Ginagawa lang utusan.
Oo nga, tapos long hours pa ang requirement ng schools para makatapos ng internship 🙄.
Sir Chel, Excellent bill po yan. Big businesses always find ways para makatipid sa overhead, kahit unethical pero hindi bawal gagawin nila, just like sa pagkuha ng interns na walang bayad. Certificate of Completion of Internship lang ang bayad. Hopefully that bill becomes a law.
The schools request companies and institutions to provide internship to more than one student. To train these students, companies have to allot time of their personnel to train them instead of doing their regular work? Should these schools now pay these companies ?
Yung mga mag OJT sila pa nagbabayad.

What about companies na willing mag accept ng interns only if the students are willing not to get compensation? May mga companies kasi na wala namang shortage of staffs but willing to help students. Otherwise, wag na lang sila mag accept kung di rin nila babayaran ang students.
Cong, I disagree with this. I think gradual increase of compensation would be good to help with expenses like commute, etc. They should get a portion of sevice charge. Most ojt students arent serious yet and the quality is very different from workers. Companies wont get ojts.
Matagal na hinihintay na panukala, maraming salamay po, isama na rin dapat yung trabaho na pinapagawa ay nakabagay sa work ang pinag iinternship at pinaka importante ay no nepotism.

Naalala ko nanaman internship ko sa IT, ginawa kaming kargador nang mga Computers at industrial printers. Wala nang choice since wala na kami mahanap na aabot kami. Tas 100 a day, tas ang pinaka mura sa Cafeteria nila is 120 gulay with rice. 😭😭😭

Sana dati rin meron nito. 🥺 Libre lang yung OJT namin kapalit nung field experience dati.

Cong. @ChelDiokno agree on this. Baka kayang isabay na rin po yung 14th month pay for private companies since tumataas ang bilihin pero ang sahod maliit lang ang increase.

You can legislate and require these benefits, but you can’t compel them to hire interns, or not discourage them to hire less interns than before. Just more incentive for big companies to double down on AI & automation, the very same companies who can afford to pay these benefits
Hindi madedepensahan ang hindi pagpapasahod sa interns. Companies profiting off of free labor while hanging the threat of not graduating above an intern's head should not be welcome in society.

Please do not pass this, it will prevent interns from getting the experience they want from the firms they want. I totally disagree with this. Companies will be regulating if not totally stop taking in interns. This is detrimental to education.

Personally okay lang naman na free labor since internship is more on hands-on experience lang at pampabango ng CV. Pero at least bawal sana magpa internship na yung intern ang mag abayad sa companies.
Pls include din mga athlete, mabigyan ng lifeinsurance/hmo. Mabigyan pansin din ang RA Accountancy Act 2021🙏🏼 natabunan na po. This!

@sexysiangelxxxx Mahihirapan ito yung mga students nito. Hindi naman lahat ng company obligado na mag ojt sila. May mga schools na mismo lumalapit sa companies para mag ojt.
nung nag ojt kami last july grabe, weekly rotation ng sched. One time, kami ng friend ko 2pm-10pm biglang 4am-12pm kinabukasan, tapos yung byahe namin 1hr sa akin, 1hr and 30mins sa friend ko,tapos late pa nagtime-out non, wala nang tulog jusko
Paano pa po kaya yung mga nag oojt na graduating nurses? Nagbabayad pa sila sa ospital diba para makapagtrabaho?
