Interop is not just about token transfers; it's about cross-chain composability at scale. Experience this composability with a demo by OP Labs’s hamdi of an app on one chain determining outcomes from other chains.

In this new demo, we go beyond token transfers to true cross-chain contract composition. Think of it like LEGO bricks spread across different chains, all clicking together perfectly.

You might’ve seen our Tic-Tac-Toe demo for horizontal scaling. Now we’re taking the same idea further using a permissionless event-reading mechanism to pass data between chains. No bridging headaches are required.

Imagine a dedicated chain (Chain C) that references the outcome of a Tic-Tac-Toe game on Chain B. Or a “Block Hash Emitter” from Chain A dictating results elsewhere. It’s like real-time data feeds for your dApp… but from other chains!

Under the hood, Superchain Interop uses CrossL2Inbox to verify logs from any participating chain. When a game is won on Chain B, a contest on Chain C instantly resolves. No extra sync steps needed.

This unlocks a world of possibilities for modular DeFi, gaming, multi-chain NFTs, yield protocols and more. Cross-chain composability lets you create across OP chains while staying seamlessly connected.

Curious to build your own multi-chain magic to prepare for Superchain Interop? Check out the SuperSim docs and start experimenting. We can’t wait to see what you’ll create!

@OPLabsPBC @allam_hamdi Great demo. Can’t wait for these primitives to be adopted.

@OPLabsPBC @allam_hamdi Amazing demo! It's great to see the back-end of things every once in a while. 🔥

@OPLabsPBC @allam_hamdi Hyperlane and LayerZero did it 2 years ago . You can try Wormhole they do the same
