#Interstellar #InterstellarRerelease last night at Prasads Multiplex #PCX Screen — superb experience! Image and sound quality was perfection — such a crisp, sharp, detailed, contrasty and bright, high quality DCP! You could even notice the difference in the grain between the 35mm shot scenes and the IMAX 70mm shot... scenes. Certain scenes got bright enough that they could light up the front part of the hall (you can see that in the docking sequence clip here). Sound was lovely and powerful (in some parts like the tesseract sequence I noticed that the sound was so powerful it made the screen vibrate, and you could see a vibration like effect on the subtitles too!), as expected. It was a similar experience as the one I had in July 2023. I have said it before, this is undoubtedly, the best place in Hyderabad to watch this movie. Yes, this is the Scope version without the (IMAX exclusive) switching aspect ratios. However the movie is powerful and impactful enough that you'll have a wonderful experience. Bruh I felt so embarrassed when the guy told the other guy to not come in front of the camera. I specifically kept the camera in a corner so that no one could see it and get awkward. You could see the embarrassment on my face, although it was in a light mood as those guys keep pulling each other's legs at the Gym all the time. But I still made it clear so no one else feels that way because he was so damn loud with “oye camera hai”. You don't own the gym, it's a public gym, so chill.

As well as how it looks and is animated, I absolutely love the sound design that goes into the tech in stuff like Ghost in the Shell or Patlabor. A lot of it is so great to listen to (As an aside the snipers in this scene have neat designs)

Finally got to drive on the Atal Setu the previous weekend. A fine piece of engineering that makes you feel like you’re a hovercraft gliding on water. It was during daytime that I both traveled to and returned from Pune so I couldn’t experience the magnificent view at dusk as is visible in the viral pic on the right. But will do that as well—not too long from now…

The Varaha avatar, the Narasimha avatar, brought to life with such majesty and fire, it feels like the screen is a portal to the astral worlds described in the Vedas. Incredible symbolism- those with the right knowledge will under it better! The animation? Next level. The music? POWERFUL. Uplifting. Ferocious. Devotional. The dialogues, even in Hindi, carry weight. The fight scenes - the Hollywood action scenes will look poor in front of them. To the makers of this film Mahavatar Narsimha Hombale Films you are clearly blessed by Bhagwan Himself. No amount of training or talent alone can produce this kind of Rasa Nishpatti. This is Grace. This is Shakti. The Bhakti rasa, the Krur bhava, the moving songs sung by little Prahlad filled with surrender and love, they moved me to tears. The last fight scene? Beyond cinematic, it’s a darshan. When Bhagwan starts eliminating the asuras while Hiranyakashyap takes a short break… that was the real high point. It evokes nothing but surrender. You join your hands and bow, not at the screen, but at the divine Himself. Not even exaggerating. It happened to me. I truly bow to the creators. You have not made a movie. You have given us an experience of God. This is our Dashaavatar cinematic universe. Finally. And yes, the post-credits tease of Parashurama gave goosebumps. GO WATCH THE MOVIE NOW! 🙏 Jai Narasimha. I don’t think anyone else knew about this before I found it out. In the legendary scene where Doc Holliday confronts Johnny Ringo in “Tombstone,” there is a quick cut to Michael Biehn. This was spliced in during the editing process. If you remove that, you will see that Val Kilmer’s entrance was filmed as one continuous shot. Watch the theatrical version, and you’ll see what I mean. Link:

The Lighthouse is available everywhere now. ✨ I wrote this song a few months after Roe v. Wade was overturned. It seemed like overnight, people were saying “what can we, as a collective force, do about this…” For me, it was to write a song. It took a while because I was on the road. Then early one morning I was watching the news on TV and a certain newscaster said something that felt like she was talking to me~ explaining what the loss of Roe v. Wade would come to mean. I wrote the song the next morning and recorded it that night. That was September 6, 2022. I have been working on it ever since. I have often said to myself, “This may be the most important thing I ever do. To stand up for the women of the United States and their daughters and granddaughters ~ and the men that love them. This is an anthem. ~ Stevie Nicks

This family was at the beach. They got there early and set up in front so they could watch their kids play in the water. Then this family shows up and they set up in front of them. 🤯 There was no one to the left or the right of them. Clear as could be. 😳 A lot of people said they should have moved closer so no one could set up in front of them. But many others said if the beach was open and there was no one to the left or right of them then that is just plain rude. I always leave a little sand in front in case my kids want to play or we usually throw our boogie boards in front. I’d have been irritated and would have asked them to move. 💯 What do you think? Was it rude of the second family to take their view away and set up in front of them or is it the first family’s fault for not setting up closer so no one could be in front of them?
