Here’s Rivers’ full confession from tonight’s LUX TOUR Confessional with ROSALÍA: “When I was in high school, there was a boy I really liked. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? A classmate. After that, I didn’t want anything to do with ‘Nati’ and I hated everyone for a long time. I spent several years not trusting anyone and not wanting to meet people in that way. But it was an experience, and eventually I realized it didn’t have to be that way.”

Caller: I've been dating my boyfriend for about a year now, and we're starting to talk about marriage. He's Australian, and basically we were talking finances and he would want to keep them completely separate. He earns like a little over double what I earn. He just bought his first house as well, and it concerns me. He also mentioned maybe wanting me to sign a prenup. Um, and I I just feel not secure maybe marrying and having kids with somebody who feels finances should be 100% separate. So I was kind of wondering what y'all thoughts were, if you had any advice for me. Rachel: Yeah. Did he give you reasons why he wants to keep it separate? Is it because of the amount he earns? Is it something that happened in his past? His parents? Like, did he give you reasons why? Caller: Yeah, pretty vague. His parents did get divorced, but on fairly good terms. I think the income disparity is a bit of an issue for him, which I understand. But I think mainly he just wants to feel that he's in control of the money that he's earned. We were talking about it last night, actually, and he was saying, "Well, I don't believe that it would be our money, you know, if we were married. What I earn is like my money. George: So it would be his house, his money, and you just get the privilege of living there at a discounted rate? Is that what the future looks like? Caller: Basically. I don't think he sees it that way, but yeah, that's kind of what he's saying. George: It sounds like he wants to be single. Rachel: No, he doesn't want to be single. No, no, George, George George: He wants the benefits of the relationship... Rachel: He loves her. George: ...but he doesn't want the commitment of a relationship.

🧸 something really nice about soobin hyung…if me and soobin hyung are upset or angry about something, we hold it in and end up talking to each other about it immediately or when we’re getting off work 🧸 he’ll be like “hey, i don’t think what you did then was right” and i’ll be like “really? ah i’m sorry, i won’t do that in the future” and that’s how we end it 🐰 we talk to each other a lot…even during the promotions for our last album, i said something about beomgyu that could be misunderstood…that wasn’t my intention but it didn’t get conveyed correctly…me & beomgyu are always in the same car on our way back from work…we usually play exciting music on our way back home 🐰🧸 and we sing along! 🐰 but i was the only one singing and he was just on his phone so i was like “ah i guess he must be exhausted today” but as soon as we got home, he was like “hyung, there’s something i want to talk to you about” 🐰 “i heard you said this to a fan, is it true?” and i was like “i did say that but i realize that it might have come off that way to you…i’m sorry” and then he said “i hope you’re careful in the future” and i went “i’ll be careful” and it ended then we harmoniously ate together again 👤 that’s so great, that’s such a healthy relationship 🐰 we have a relationship where we’re able to openly talk about cautious things like it’s nothing so i think it’s really healthy 🧸 it’s really healthy

In 2021, Amanda wrote about her late husband, All Elite Wrestling wrestler Jon Huber, also known as Brodie Lee. On his birthday, we remember his legacy: “I hope that, when people remember Jon, they mention one of the bravest things he ever did: He had unresolved trauma — and he confronted it. I’m not going to go into every detail here, because I think some things are private. But one area that I will detail a bit is how therapy helped Jon finally come to terms with the death of his dad. Jon’s dad was his hero — he meant everything to him. And when he died (in November of ’01, just a handful of months before Jon and I met), Jon was a wreck. It was a devastating loss. But over the years, I think he’d kind of ‘blocked out’ a lot of how that devastation had impacted him. And it was therapy that gave him the strength to start unblocking it. He started to confront the fact that, after his dad’s passing, he found it hard to let new people in. The idea of getting truly close to anyone, and building them into his life, only to experience that level of loss again…. that scared the hell out of Jon. And what scared him even more, he realized, was the idea of ever dying young like his dad did — and abandoning someone else. The idea of anyone who loved him feeling the pain of losing him forever…. that terrified Jon. And he’d thought he never wanted marriage, and never wanted kids, for just that reason. I won’t lie — writing this, there are a lot of complicated emotions attached. The irony of it can be overwhelming to think about: how the exact fear that troubled Jon most, the fear that he finally got over….. it ended up biting him in the ass. It ended up coming true. But I also try not to think about it that way. Instead, I try to think about a man who did the bravest thing imaginable — a thing that ended up saving our relationship, and making our family possible. I try to think about a man who asked me for ONE more chance….. and who promised me that, if I gave it to him, he’d be the best husband, and best father, I ever met. And he was.”

Christian Kane talks bar fights, stunts & singing with Jensen Ackles (Supernatural 15-07 Last Call) #SPNToronto #SpnTor #Torcon "...and then Jay and I have been friends for, I mean, we were kids stealing a beer from an Emmy party, I think. We were both like in our young twenties, man. So it's just a lot of fun to be here with all my friends and stuff like that. So I appreciate you guys for letting me be here...." Q: "I was just hoping that you would tell us about how you got asked to be on the show and just your entire shooting experience when you got to go." "Jensen gave me a call. He gave me a call and said, 'Hey, you wanna come in and do this?' And I said (I have to be really careful because I'm so fortunate 'cause I got to work with my friends). But I said, 'How's the money?' He goes, 'It’s shit.' And I said, 'Do I die?' He goes, 'Yep.' I go, 'Do you kill me?' He goes, 'Yep.' He goes, 'First of all, it's me and you. It's a bar fight. You used to fight for my dad, and we get to sing Hank Williams Junior.' And I said, 'Where do I sign?' We showed up, and Jensen's always so professional. We went and had lunch... Those guys work hard. They work really, really hard. I mean, as Elliot Spencer — I did all my own shit. I choreographed the fights... I dare you to slow something down and see if it's a picture of me because you can't find it. It's a little bit different 'cause I'm expendable. Jensen's not. David Boreanaz is not. Sometimes people stand in for him, you know, they have to, 'cause they can't afford to get hurt. You just physically can't — financially or physically afford for those guys to get hurt. Jensen never left the set. We did all our own stuff — that fight was us. If he's coming up here after me... it was very painful. But he never left the set, and I was really proud of both of us. When you see us in there, that's us doing this stuff. He threw me around, we were throwing punches. He never left the set, and that made me feel really comfortable because that's where I felt most comfortable doing stuff, and I trusted him 'cause he's good at what he does. And so it was a very, very fun time for me. Me and Boreanaz used to joke around on Angel saying, 'What did we do? For five seasons we went to work and tried to kill our best friend.' And when you're an actor and you get to go to work and try to kill one of your best friends, it's a good day." Q: "So my question is similar... it's about the song when you and Jensen get up to sing. So was that always the song you were gonna sing, like right from the beginning when Jensen pitched it?" "Well, it was in the script, and I said, 'I don't know how they're gonna pay for this.' And then I remembered it's Supernatural — they got more money than, you know... So I was like, 'Alright.' The coolest thing about your question is that we got to go in on our day off, me and Jensen, and we got to record it. I didn't know at the time, but Jensen told me we got to record it at Brian Adams' personal studio... That was kind of a cool thing. And I hadn't sang in a while, and I remember the compliment from Jensen — as I went to the booth and walked out, he goes, 'You still got it.' I felt pretty good about myself."
