Traditionally, token balances are stored on-chain. Keeping this data on-chain takes up space, so Solana charges a "rent" fee of ~0.002 SOL for the storage. i.e. you paid ~0.002 SOL to store information on how much BONK your wallet owns on-chain. 2/7

There are however slight differences between how Tiny SPLs and normal SPL tokens work. Tiny SPLs have separate balances, and to manage these balances, we will have to split/combine these balances at 4/7

For example, if we want to better organise our wallet and combine our token balances, we can do so via these steps 5/7

If we wanted to send just one token to our friend, we could also split our token balance and then send out that single token via our wallet! 6/7
