I've seen people wonder how we do the Elite lipsync in B00mrang's Halo 3 machinima, CRASH. Its a process of splicing all the dialogue into separate files, importing those files into the engine, and playing the dialogue on the player (in real-time!) Some examples: For ease of filming, I've also created custom keybind combinations to play and scroll through dialogue on the fly during gameplay. Of course, it would be nothing without the fantastic voice acting by Henry Schultz as Motan and Lucas MartinezVA☕️ as Otto!

He cut most of John Rambo’s dialogue when writing First Blood, and instead had the other characters in the film discuss him. Rambo’s actions and silence is what would convey his internal struggle opposed to using dialogue for that.
