One thing that I don’t see mentioned, is this a new game that is purchasable or a free update to upgrade? Also if it is a new game does that mean we can transfer our worlds and already purchased DLC to this new version of the game?

Yes, it is a free upgrade. If you already own the Base Game or any DLCs, the Remastered version of those products will be available to you without any additional cost. Your saves will only be available on the version you used when saving your City, cross saves are not possible.

Finally I can enjoy new streams without console players begging for tiles 😅
