Introducing Extend UI — open-source components for document agents - 14 components & examples for PDF, DOCX, and XLSX viewers, plus bounding box citations, file upload, e-signature, and more - fully customizable - MIT licensed when we started, we tried every file viewer and document component library we could find unfortunately, none of them had all the functionality (and polish) that we wanted, so we ended up building our own for Extend it was only ever meant to be internal, but enough customers kept asking for it that we decided to give it back to the community it's useful for building agents, user-facing document flows, or internal tools we use and maintain it for Extend ourselves, so it'll keep getting better over time (and it's battle tested on millions of pages running through our system every day) it also works with design system agents like Magic Patterns for faster exploration and prototyping available today on the shadcn component registry! some examples in 🧵

This Claude Code Skills Pack is a cheat code for ad creative teams 🤯 10 plug-and-play skills → competitor audits, creative briefs, 20 hook variations, ad copy, static ads, landing pages, & weekly performance reports. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who are still prompting Claude Code from scratch every time. If you're re-explaining your brand voice in every session, getting inconsistent output depending on who's prompting, and spending 30 minutes on tasks that should take 30 seconds... These skills eliminate the entire loop: → Competitor Ad Research Agent Drop a brand name, get back a full creative audit — hooks, messaging angles, ad formats, CTAs, and "steal this" angles. No more scrolling the Ad Library for an hour. → Creative Brief Generator One prompt, complete brief in your exact template. Hooks, concepts, visual direction, brand voice — all loaded from your own files. → Hook & Script Writer 15+ hooks categorized by type (curiosity, problem-agitation, result-first, social proof). Full 30-60s scripts with the hook → problem → mechanism → proof → CTA structure baked in. → Ad Copy Variation Engine Feed it one winning ad, get back 20 variations — each targeting a different persona and pain point. Same structure, different angles. Creative fatigue solved. → Weekly Report Writer Drop in your Meta ads CSV. Get back the narrative summary, anomaly flags, creative fatigue alerts, and recommended next steps. The report nobody wants to write, written in 60 seconds. → Creative Fatigue Detector Flags ads before they die. CTR trending down, frequency climbing, conversion rate dropping — caught in hours, not after three days of wasted spend. No prompting from scratch every time. No inconsistent output across your team. No re-explaining context in every session. I packaged all 10 as a free Skills Pack. Copy-paste the files into your Claude Code commands folder and they just work. Want the full Skills Pack? > Like this post > Comment "SKILLS" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

Announcing Centaur 2.0! Centaur is frontier, agentic infrastructure that you own. Centaur is like Claude Tag, but open source and on steroids. Centaur 2.0 can connect to everything you have access to, and can reason over it next to where you work, either in Slack, Discord, Teams or in your local Codex or Claude Code via an MCP. But context isn't useful if it can be accessed by anyone, so we rebuilt Centaur from the ground up for security. Centaur obviously doesn't have access to secrets because we're leveraging egress proxies. Centaur 2.0 takes that a step further enabling administrators to configure who can access what from where. This means that Centaur can have access to private information that you normally wouldn't feel comfortable giving it access to (e.g. DMs or sensitive channels and docs) but only expose it to authorized principals. It also means you can add Centaur to external channels and leverage it as a virtual colleague that doesn't live only in your Slack, for example, but also your Slack Connect channels! This is extremely powerful as we start moving to a world where agents cross organizational boundaries. Also in case anyone's wondering, yes we rewrote it in Rust! Centaur is now way way more stable at durably executing threads, and its workflow engine is now based on Absurd. We have been operating Centaur since January, officially launched and Open Sourced it in May, and now we're full speed towards making it the #1 open source agentic infrastructure. To succeed at that, I'm thrilled to welcome Matthew Slipper to the Paradigm team who will be leading all our Applied AI work, while continuing to maintain and extend Iron Proxy as the leading secure secret access for agents. Welcome Matt, it's an honor after all these years of knowing you! Read the full blogpost below, and apply to join our team!

Every serious Claude Code user is using this repo. if you're not, you're leaving 90% of Claude Code's power on the table. It's called claude-code-best-practice - 84 sourced tips, implementation examples for every major feature, workflow comparisons across 8 major repos, and the actual tips from Boris Cherny (creator of Claude Code) compiled in one place. Here's what's actually in it: → 84 tips organized by category -- prompting, planning, CLAUDE.md, agents, commands, skills, hooks, workflows, debugging, utilities, daily habits → best practice + implemented examples for every core concept: subagents, commands, skills, hooks, MCP servers, plugins, settings, memory, checkpointing, CLI flags → workflow comparison table -- Superpowers, BMAD-METHOD, Get Shit Done, OpenSpec, gstack, HumanLayer -- what makes each unique, how many agents/commands/skills each has → orchestration workflow -- Command → Agent → Skill pattern with a live demo → Boris Cherny tips compiled across 3 tweet threads (13 + 10 + 12 tips) and 5 podcast/video appearances → "billion dollar questions" section -- open questions about CLAUDE.md, agents vs commands vs skills, specs -- that nobody has definitively answered yet here's a few of the tips that actually change how you use it: → use subagents with "say use subagents" to throw more compute at a problem -- offload tasks to keep your main context clean → spin up a second Claude to review your plan as a staff engineer before executing → CLAUDE.md should target under 200 lines -- wrap domain-specific rules in ` ` tags so Claude doesn't ignore them as files grow → compress KV context at max 50%, not at the end -- avoid the "agent dumb zone" by doing manual /compact proactively → after a mediocre fix: "knowing everything you know now, scrap this and implement the elegant solution" was #1 trending on GitHub in March 2026. 19.7K GitHub stars. 1.7K forks. 20 days ago, I connected Claude Code to my newly created instagram handle.. I gained 4.3M views and 6500+ followers in less than a month [ i post Ai generated animated stories ] Full workflow: i let claude study my account before i write another reel.. This is the cleanest content workflow i've built on claude. give it your IG first. 4 prompts handle the rest.. niche research, the reel script, the hook, and the daily automation.. the whole loop is basically, give claude your IG → find what's working → write retention-optimized scripts → engineer the hook → automate the daily output.. ▫️ Setup: give claude your instagram open claude code. claude code has a built-in web tool that browses any public URL. or install any agentic browser like Browser Harness or Firecrawl or Comet browser paste this with your handle filled in: "Browse and pull the last 30 reels and posts. Analyze my recurring topics, top-performing hooks, formats, and engagement patterns. Then map out my actual audience and what they consistently respond to." claude reads your profile, pulls every reel down, and now has the context to personalize every prompt below to YOUR account, not a generic niche. if you're on claude desktop, the same works with firecrawl MCP connected. ▫️ Prompt 1 find what actually goes viral in your niche: "Analyze the highest-performing Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Reddit posts in the [niche] niche from the last 30 days. Identify repeating hooks, visual styles, emotional triggers, and content formats that consistently generate high engagement. Then summarize the 5 strongest content angles optimized for AI-generated content and short-form videos." run this after the setup. you get 5 angles backed by what's already working in your niche, cross-checked against what's already working on YOUR account. ▫️ Prompt 2 write a high-retention reel script "Write a short-form Instagram Reel script about [topic] with an aggressive hook in the first 2 seconds. Create immediate curiosity, tension, or controversy to stop scrolling, then deliver a fast and satisfying payoff. Keep it under 30 seconds and optimize the structure for watch time, replays, comments, and shares. Finish with a subtle CTA." the line that matters: "optimize the structure for watch time, replays, comments, and shares." claude writes for the metrics, not just the word count. ▫️ Prompt 3 engineer better hooks "Study the top-performing Reels in [niche] and break down the hook structure, pacing, and emotional triggers used in the first 3 seconds. Then generate 5 new hook variations that are even more curiosity-driven, emotionally charged, and optimized to stop scrolling instantly. Focus on triggers like surprise, fear, ego, urgency, or desire." most reels die in the first 2 seconds. this prompt has claude reverse-engineer what already works, then give you 5 sharper versions to swap in. ▫️ Prompt 4 automate the whole workflow "Build a complete AI-powered content workflow for Instagram in the [niche] niche. The system should identify trending topics daily, generate high-retention scripts, create matching AI visuals, turn them into short-form videos, and generate optimized captions and hashtags. Structure everything as a repeatable workflow designed for consistent daily posting and growth." once the niche and script structure are validated, this turns it into a daily loop. one prompt that handles topic → script → visual → video → caption. these 4 prompts are the building blocks. the setup is what makes them yours. your real value is in the [niche] you plug in. content workflow built in one weekend, daily posting on autopilot from monday.

G to the M fam Has anyone touched the grass today? Tria just announced a big Season 3 AMA tomorrow, June 17 at 10 AM EST, with Decibel, Aptos and special guests. They’re breaking down all the new updates. One action now hits multiple reward layers, Epoch 2 extended to July 15, and they keep adding real utility like seamless perps, yield, and card spending. This is how you build real retention and mindshare. Quip Network is one of the few projects that keeps delivering quiet but meaningful signals. they’re not just talking about quantum advantage ... they’re actively demonstrating it. using real D-Wave Advantage2 annealing quantum computers on testnet to solve optimization problems far more efficiently than classical systems, potentially using up to 100x less energy. this is helping flip the old narrative of crypto wasting energy into one where decentralized compute can be far more efficient and useful. ARC Terminal is built for something most AI tools ignore. most people treat their AI usage like isolated conversations that reset every time. ARC turns every interaction into permanent capital. your core graph weaves every research thread, decision, and preference into a living, evolving structure that gets stronger the more you use it. your context and intelligence layer compound over time instead of disappearing. Nomisma Season 3 is live and the rewarded testnet is open to everyone. Hundreds of thousands of Diamonds have already been distributed, with more rewards ahead. llama.cpp isn't just for text LLMs anymore. Pure C++ zero shot voice cloning just officially landed in mainline. Text generation was only step one. If you’re building autonomous local AI agents, real time voice assistants, or edge workflows, instant low latency audio is the missing piece. Thanks to PR #26254, Alibaba’s state of the art Qwen3 TTS model family is now natively supported directly inside the llama.cpp repository under the multimodal (mtmd) framework. No Python bloat. No massive PyTorch CUDA overhead. Just raw, hyper optimized C++ running GGUF voice weights. Here is why this native update is a massive deal for the open source local AI stack: # Multimodal Architecture (.gguf + mmproj) Qwen3-TTS splits the workload between the base language model backbone and a multimodal projection adapter. llama.cpp handles this using the llama-tts binary, mapping the text model alongside its --mmproj projector to process audio tokens seamlessly. # Zero Shot Voice Cloning in Seconds You don't need fine tuning or massive dataset training. Feed the C++ engine a single 5 to 10 second .wav audio sample using the --tts-speaker-file flag, and it accurately clones the exact timbre, tone, and accent on the fly. # Real World T4 GPU Benchmark & Resource FootprintRunning the 1.7B Base model in 8-bit quantization (Q8_0): - VRAM Footprint: ~7 GB peak VRAM during active zero-shot cloning. - Audio Quality: Studio grade, natural-sounding voice output in seconds. • - Execution: Direct execution via native compiled binaries or sub process calls. # Coming Next to llama-server (PR #26603) Beyond CLI execution, a native POST /tts HTTP endpoint is currently being added to llama-server, which will soon allow you to trigger voice generation directly via standard REST API requests! # quick note on Colab compilation: Because this code was merged into mainline very recently, pre-built third-party binaries haven't fully caught up yet. Compiling llama-tts directly from source on Google Colab's free CPU instance can take about 1 hour (or ~1-2 minutes if targeting single GPU arch like -DCMAKE_CUDA_ARCHITECTURES=75). Be patient during the build step, or compile it locally on your own rig for instant execution! To test this out yourself, I built a zero config Google Colab notebook that compiles llama.cpp, downloads the Q8_0 GGUF files from HuggingFace, and spins up an interactive Gradio Studio UI so you can record/upload 3 second clips and clone voices in real time. Stop sleeping on native C++ audio. The era of bulky Python audio pipelines is officially over. Links to the free Google Colab notebook and the official ggml org GGUF HuggingFace model repository are in the replies below! available in q4 and q8 both variants, 1 GB and 1.85 GBs respectively (requires additional ~500MB mmproj gguf) Are you building local voice agents yet? What does your current audio stack look like? Drop your setups below!

✨ I open sourced my first Chrome extension 🚀 SuperLevels I vibe coded it to replace all my Chrome extensions that are increasingly being bought up by spyware and malware companies who sell your data or worse hack your accounts and steal your stuff/money/data, which I'd call one of the top security risks right now For example: Chrome extensions can read your cookies or localStorage data, including session tokens, then login to your web or email accounts and hack you, they can inject code into any site to pull data form any site you browse, then break into your crypto accounts, drain your wallets, and selling your browsing history to ad companies, but that'd actually be the most favorable thing to happen of all these! Chrome extensions are just very very very unsafe So I coded my own, that I can trust because I made it, and I can read the source code: my extension is called 🚀SuperLevels and has all the features that the Chrome extensions I used to use have but all built into one safe one The cool thing is it's 100% open source and free, and you can audit the code first with AI yourself before installing it, and then if you do install it, customize it to your liking again with AI It has these features that improve my daily workflow while browsing the web: 🚮 Tab Cleaner Automatically closes inactive tabs after a configurable timeout (default: 5 minutes). Set excluded hosts to keep important tabs alive. View and re-open recently closed tabs. 🍪 Cookie Editor Full cookie manager for the current site. View, edit, add, and delete cookies. Shows status codes (301, 302, 307, etc.) with a visual chain. Copy the full redirect chain to clipboard. 🌙 Dark Mode Instant dark mode for any website using CSS filter inversion. Adjustable brightness. Toggle per-site or globally. Images and videos are automatically re-inverted so they look normal. 𝕏 X Dim Mode Custom dim theme for X/Twitter with 7 color palettes: Dim, Slate, Jade, Plum, Dusk, Ember, or a custom hue. Live preview in the popup. ⚡ JS Toggle Disable JavaScript per-site with one click. Useful for debugging, reading articles without popups, or testing progressive enhancement. Page reloads automatically. 🚫 GDPR Cookie Consent Dismisser Auto-hides and auto-clicks cookie consent banners. So why we need open mainnet and when it's the good time to open and can we make it faster? I think Yes! WE build up Pi public blockchain is like we are building a highway. When the highway complete, all drivers need this highway because it can bring them benefit. And the highway can charge them fees every time when they pass. Pi is similar like a highway. The drivers are outside eco and different organization. We all know Pi WEB 3.0 blockchain has great value. This will attract outside eco come. When they come, they don't have Pi to pledge to use our blockchain. So they need to use their FIAT to buy our Pi. However, if our inner community has difference on price, it's like the highway has been controlled by different groups. These groups charge different fees. It will confuse outside eco and make them hesitate to come. That's why I believe open mainnet need united price for outside eco. Of course united price can help inner eco develop grow fast too. There are two options regarding price: 1. Let the pioneers and merchants slowly reach the agreement and we do nothing . This is let it go naturally. I do know some pioneers advocate this way. But I am sure it will take long journey because more than 45 million pioneers or maybe will never reach agreement. They will use from $0.01 to 1 million $ different price. 2. Our pioneers community advocate GCV because it has been accepted by a lot pioneers and merchants already. If all pioneers can understand this GCV price logic and if they hold Pi, they will support it. The reason is so simple. It relate to their self interest. This can be done very fast if we all united together. Another reason is based on a business accounting system. All business has tax reporting system even crypto currency. From 2019, USA IRS has the tax regulation on individual crypto currency capital gain. Currently most merchants are pioneers, they use their individual Pi Wallet. I see recently there is developer/merchant business wallet come out. Then they should use business Pi wallet. So it's easier for them to track crypto business profit and loss. As an accountant I know all capital gain or loss are calculated by using USD in USA. So accountant need a unified price. If not, the company will hesitate to join Pi eco system. Based the above reason, i call on Pi Community to support GCV price so that eco can satisfied prosperous condition to open mainnet. As for KYC and migration, the technology part has been mature or almost mature. And we believe CT and all pioneers can follow very fast. During close mainnet all merchants should do barter according to your availability. Please don't put all your products now! Close mainnet period is for cultivate the Pi Payment environment! If you have inventory and small items, you can put maybe 10% or less of your products to barter. All business owners should realize before opening mainnet there is risk of loss. Why many Chinese merchant do it? Because they are pioneers too ! They want to realize Pi GCV price so they do it volunteering to use inventory and small items with limit supply. Therefore it won't have much risk. And if open mainnet can reach GCV, they will not incur loss. So please all merchants do it wisely. Close mainnet small items and use inventory. Of course if you want to put big items, this is your choice and pioneers will be appreciated. But my suggestion is to be Rationalism. If everyone can do a little, it will create big influence. As a pioneer close mainnet it's not a time to get profit for yourself. So please don't expect cross border or big items because merchant has business risk. I see some cross border barter incur which is based on individual merchant. When open mainnet, you can realize all of it. But now it's time to help GCV price as a trend from my opinion. The above analysis is only my personal analysis. Reference only. It is not Business Advice! #WhatIDoForPi #PiGCV

over the weekend, i built an app that i sincerely hope you will never have a need for, but if you do happen to need a friendly, free, private mri viewer designed to make it easy for you to track tumor progression, you can try it here: here's the story: as some of you may know, last last september, my six year old daughter mira was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor called an adamatinomatous craniopharyngioma, and since then our family has been doing everything we can possibly do to find a cure for her. we tortured chatgpt deep research, put together our own private research team, raised $1.4M and donated it all to Hankinson-Mitra Lab research thanks to $MIRA, explored every remotely applicable drug whether on the market or not, and even began working with md anderson to develop a personalized vaccine that we hope can lead to a more permanent cure unfortunately, we received the devastating news last march that the tumor has continued to grow since her initial surgery, and we had to start to consider more drastic options which would have seriously impacted mira’s quality of life. thankfully, with the help of dr. sabine mueller UCSF Benioff SF and the Hankinson-Mitra Lab at the university of colorado, in april, we started her on an alternative but extremely experimental treatment for this disease. to our unimaginable relief, her tumor has responded extraordinarily well to this treatment which combines tocilizumab (an arthritis drug that blocks IL6 receptors) with avastin (a colon cancer drug that inhibhits VEGF proteins). we know this, because mira gets an MRI scan of her brain every few months. and every time we get a new scan, the first thing we do is compare it against her last scan. so we have to find the matching weight of the scan, and then find the same plane, and then carefully find the slices of the scan where the tumor is visible, and then find the closest match to last month’s scan, then adjust the zoom, rotation, and brightness / contrast so they all look the same. we got pretty good at this. but it shouldn't be this hard. so i built last weekend using gemini 3 with some gpt 5.2 xhigh. you just import your DICOM MRI files (either zip, files or a folder), and you can align all of your scans across multiple dates instantly, just click and drag a rectangle around the tumor on any image, and it will use some very clever algorithms to automatically align up and find the closest matching slice from all your other scans, match the brightness / contrast, rotation, pan, zoom, and even shear to make sure the registration is as close as possible, and make it as easy to possible to compare tumor progression. it has a grid view so you can see all your scans for the same location all at once, and an overlay view so you can quickly compare two scans visually (by holding down the space bar to toggle quickly between two scans), along with tools to animate your scans both within the same sequence as well as over multiple scans to show progression. there is no server, it runs entirely locally on your browser - nothing ever gets uploaded and it's all open source: if you've found this useful, please consider a donation to the UCSF Benioff SF hospital foundation, who has given us extraordinary care over the past year or so:

Open letter to Sussan Ley the ‘leader’ of the ‘opposition’. Dear Sussan, I write today, before Parliament resumes, to ask you to reconsider your position as opposition leader. Many Australians are already tired of this Albanese government. They won an avalanche of seats with just 34% of the primary vote, because the Liberals didn't oppose. You may choose to dismiss this letter as sour grapes… after all I did sue you, along with Morrison and others, in an attempt to get democratic pre-selections. Whilst standing up for democracy and the members’ rights, I was expelled. Since then, the NSW division has fallen into complete ruin, causing a routing at the NSW state election and a diabolical hash up at the local elections – a direct failure of the current leadership. The factions still desert democracy and blast through. My motivation is a deep-seated opposition to the Labor party. I want a better Australia. While a member, either as a donor, campaign director, conference president, or member of the state executive, I never transacted, or traded principle for position, ever. I acted in the national interest, in defence of the rights of the membership of your party, and in defence of democracy. I still do. So, I humbly request you consider stepping down as leader. Most Liberals are disillusioned. It is much worse. I fear Labor is now entirely unopposed. This is untennable. Australians are suffering. The rising cost of everything makes it insufferably difficult for many to get by. Immigration is out of control, we must have a sensible conversation in the national interest. We’re in the midst of a housing crisis. It's just basic supply and demand. The government is stacking seats nationally, exacerbating every problem, from the cost of housing to accessibility of healthcare, and pressuring infrastructure. Oppose it. Net Zero is an anathema to cheap and reliable energy. As more renewables replace traditional energy sources the cost of energy goes up, as the network’s reliability drops. People are choosing between food and heating. The energy market is a scandal built on an extortion racket – in a green box. It has failed Australia. Oppose it. The government is the nation’s only source of jobs growth, as they artificially pump wages, and therefore the cost of everything. They borrow and look for more money. Tax in Australia is brutal, on top of high income tax, we pay stamp duties, payroll taxes, GST, and crazy excises on fuel, tobacco and alcohol. Labor need more cash and will tax the stagnant economy into a stall. There’s no productivity and people can’t afford the basics. Oppose it. Money and talent will run from this country. Oppose it all. They don’t offer evidence to support their actions - like Grant’s attempts to age verify YouTube and Google. Demand the evidence. Lead the opposition. Your party won't oppose any of this. Because you were installed by the factions to oppose Liberal members and non-Labor voters. It's a controlled opposition. Like when you helped install Turnbull, then Morrison, and opposed democracy within the party. Not only does the party lose, but our right to democratic representation is decimated. Managed democracy is a slippery slope to one party rule - and you support managed democracy - expelling authentic Liberal views or those that get in the way of your selections. The numbers changed on the 1st of July, and if you will not support internal democracy, or oppose Labor, it is incumbent upon your colleagues to act in the national interest. If they don’t, you'll find internal and external discontent will get louder. Because if Liberals don’t oppose Labor, they lose even more. Because, the national interest is far more important than persons gender. After all... We just want Australia back. You Can't Vibe-Code Trust Avishai Abrahami, Co-Founder & CEO of Wix , interviewed by Harry Stebbings (kevin andres) Summary: Wix trades at a $2.8B market cap on $2.1B of revenue while the market ascribes roughly zero value to a business throwing off $400M a year in free cash flow. Wix CEO Avishai Abrahami's argument is that the market can't yet price what AI actually threatens: the moat is trust and business logic, and neither gets vibe-coded away. His response is to own the disruptor (Base44), train his own narrow models, and stay committed through a storm he insists always arrives on a random Wednesday. 1. Trust is the moat. The real value of Salesforce is trust: JP Morgan and huge banks let it hold all their customer data, and the CRM itself is a small part of that. "What other platform will JP Morgan trust for their customers' data? None." That trust took years to build and can't be reconstructed by an agent scraping a database, so the companies whose value lives in trust survive the SaaS apocalypse while the ones reduced to piping get commoditized. 2. The business-logic wall. "You're not going to vibe-code Shopify no matter how good you are. The business logic is too hard." Wix tested this directly: they asked a team of professional developers to build the operating logic for a single hairdresser in Base44, gave up after a week, brought in a stronger team, and still failed two weeks later. Complex operational software is far harder than a demo suggests, which is why the pizza shop and the hairdresser stay Wix customers rather than build their own stack. 3. Own the disruptor. Wix bought Base44, a one-person company, for $80M, and it now does over $150M in ARR, roughly double what they paid. Abrahami frames the future as three buckets: owners who never want to build, owners who vibe-code everything themselves, and a mix in the middle over the next five or six years. Rather than bet on which wins, Wix owns the tool customers would defect to, so a customer who switches platforms still switches to Wix. 4. Trading on someone else's news. "Today we are trading on other companies' news. We're not trading on Wix news. We're trading on what OpenAI or Anthropic or Google are saying." Base44 alone, valued on vibe-coding peer multiples, should be worth around $8B, which means the market assigns less than zero to Wix's core. Abrahami's response is to detach: he doesn't wake up checking whether the stock moved 20%, because the only thing he can influence is the business. 5. The narrow model. Wix fine-tuned and combined its own models and now matches top-tier frontier quality on Base44 tasks at far lower cost. The logic: they sit on a huge stream of training data from watching what users try and where they fail, so a model built for Base44 can skip what frontier models carry, like knowledge of Chinese poetry, and go deep on what someone means when they say "build me a task manager to tell my boyfriend where he's wrong." A narrow target is easier to hit than a frontier model, and Wix already runs a trained model on website generation that's faster, cheaper, and makes fewer errors, retrained weekly on a live feedback loop. 6. Quality before cost. When Harry cites Chamath's claim that open source runs 14-16x cheaper, Abrahami pushes back: that holds for small tasks, but for something as complex as Base44 the savings land at 5-10%, and his own model runs 1-30% cheaper than frontier, not the order of magnitude people assume. More to the point, this is the wrong time to chase cost: "20% more quality, 20% less cost, I'll go for the quality." It's a brand-new market that's just starting, and the job now is to make the product better. 7. The but is very big. "We all give too much credit for AI. It's amazing, it's incredible, it's super powerful, but the but is pretty big." He asked Claude to write a safety protocol and got six mandatory gates, then pushed back on each one and watched the model cave until only one survived, downgrading the rest from "must test" to "might want to look at later." We over-trust these systems, and that reflex, treating a Reddit post as equivalent to research published in Nature, is where the danger lives. 8. Customer support still breaks. Wix has 3,500 people and its single biggest department is customer support, serving 192 countries. They tried hard not to build their own AI support agent, tested many off-the-shelf products, and concluded flatly: "It doesn't work. We tried, we tried again, it didn't work." The gap between hyped AI support startups and what actually ships in production is the tell that the technology is earlier than the marketing, maybe five years from being different. 9. Buybacks as dividends. Wix had $1.5B sitting in the bank it couldn't put into a major acquisition because it was focused on the new product and Base44, so it bought back stock at a low price, with admittedly terrible short-term timing. Abrahami is unbothered: "The big question is where it's going to be in three years, not what happened in the last three months." He argues buybacks are a fantastic, underused tool, essentially a dividend to every shareholder, and companies should lean on them to balance stock-based compensation instead of endlessly diluting. 10. Execution, not finance. A low stock price makes M&A currency less valuable, but Abrahami says that's not his real constraint. Base44 was a one-person company; Wix had to build an entire company around it, staffing it with people pulled from the core. "I don't know how to do another one of those at the same time and have the same quality." The bottleneck on the next acquisition is execution capacity, not the balance sheet. 11. Chosen to be here. The one thing money buys beyond food security is freedom, and the deepest form of that freedom is knowing you're here by choice. "I'm here because I've chosen to be here. Nobody made me." He could move to Costa Rica or dance carnival in Brazil, and choosing to stay and run a public company through a crashing stock is where he finds his power. Money also made him more impatient and a bit lazier, and more rational because he's no longer deciding from fear. 12. The random Wednesday. Resilience starts with accepting the storm will come, because we assume that if yesterday was easy tomorrow will be too, and reality doesn't move in gentle slopes. "The worst thing that happens is probably some random thing on some random Wednesday. It's not something you get a lot of warning for." His anchor, borrowed from Babylon 5, is that you get there when you get there and the weapons you have are the weapons you have, so the only real question is whether you're doing the best you can with what you control.
