Eleven years ago I founded my first startup. One of the first things I did was to get a desk at the startup coworking space at Google Campus in Old Street. Through that community, I met so many of the people who would shape my career and learned so much about what the startup ethos is truly about. As we have scaled Attio, we've partnered with Google Cloud to build on top of the mind blowing technologies they've created like Spanner, Colossus and Gemini to power a new generation of CRM for our customers. For all these reasons, Google is deeply woven into my startup journey and that makes today's announcement so special to me. AND IT’S LIVE AND WORKING Check it out, you can have a “Circle” which is our version of Discord servers. But notice all of your content is right there so your community never misses anything you post on any platform. And HotDrop does that work for you. If someone had a two-year sub badge and a moderator sword on your Twitch, then it shows up on their name in your Circle automatically. We also have a feed with no algorithm trying to analyze you. We wanted to replicate the old Destiny community days of social media back in D1. The goal is to create a space just for content creators and their communities. Best part is that we generate an invite link to your Circle so all you have to do is copy and paste it into a Twitch command, a video description, a pinned comment. And your community can join in a click. We use Twitch and YouTube logins so bots don’t spam accounts here either. And if your goal is to troll, your whole YT or Twitch account gets banned from the platform so there’s higher risk to being a jerk. All we need now is creators to try it out, give us feedback, and we’ll keep refining the platform. But it will be the best place to foster a community. Check it out on Apple and Android.

This winter every time you shovel your driveway, you come back later and you hear mountains of snow everywhere. You check your camera and you see that she intentionally pushes her snow across the street and dumps it into your yard and driveway. Not sure what the problem is nor do you really want to find out, would you let this slide or is it time to return the favor with your new snowblower?

I have seen and truly appreciate the messages and concerns regarding our Annual Christmas Day Gala. After engaging and consulting with our stakeholders, we have this year taken a conscious decision to redirect our funds and resources towards repairing school roofs that were damaged by winds. As things stand, more than six schools were affected and work is already underway. We are working against time to ensure that by the time schools open, our children return to safe and decent learning spaces. While the Christmas Day Gala is close to our hearts, we believe that responding to this urgent need is the right thing to do at this moment. To our artists, this annual event has always been a smile bearer and a platform for your incredible work. We want to assure you that once this urgent need has been fully attended to, we will revert and deliver another great event even bigger and better. We thank you for your understanding, your continued support and your shared commitment to the wellbeing of our children. We wish you and your families a happy and peaceful holiday season.

Here is a drill to help you learn what it feels like to use the ground and start to sequence effectively. Notice how the club is setup in the video between my feet. Get to your back swing and jump favoring your lead foot left and laterally like I am. With that feeling step in and hit one. Not where you are pushing off from when you swing and try and get that into a feeling that makes sense to you. This is how power is created in the golf swing. This is also where physical limitations can show up.

Show up Committed Every Day - Don't just participate, show up, and commit. It means compete and choose to go above-and-beyond every day. Have a positive attitude and dedicate yourself to what you are doing. When you're focused, present, and engaged that is when growth starts to happen. 3. Be Consistent - You have to be consistent with your habits and work ethic. It means committing to the process of improving and putting in the time. Success doesn't happen overnight, it's the result of consistently showing up and doing the work day in and day out. 4. Prepare Mentally and Physically - This means think about your physical and mental state when you are practicing and when you will perform. Understand what environment allows you to perform your best. Use mindfulness to think about the connection between your mind and body. 5. Create a Plan for When Obstacles Arise - Don’t just imagine the great outcome, visualize what may stop you from reaching it. Prepare for the obstacles. Write them down and plan how you’ll overcome them. This keeps you prepared and resilient when challenges come your way. Rogantino per sempre ❤️ On Monday, August 26, we picked you up from Schiphol Airport, ready to welcome you to our Service Course for the first time. You had a smile on your face, from ear to ear. It was a special moment, not only for you, but also for us. You were about to make your dream come true. 🥪 There was an instant click and you ate your first ‘tosti’ with us and you loved it. It became a simple symbol of the warm welcome we wanted to give you. Not long after that came the moment you had worked so hard for: signing your very first professional contract as a cyclist. After you put down the pen, you thanked your family. It was clear how proud you were and how much it meant to you to have them by your side. When Bas Tietema, Wim and I (Julia Soek) traveled to Spoltore for your farewell, we felt the warmth of your family and saw the beautiful Italian hills where you trained daily. The impact you left on the community is immense. As we sat there at your kitchen table, surrounded by photos, trophies and memories of a wonderful career that lasted too short, we saw the role cycling played in your life. We are proud that we were able to share the last miles of your race with you and your family.

Is your toddler suddenly throwing (or dropping) everything they get their hands on? Food, toys… you name it. You’re not alone. This week I’ve been introducing play schemas, 9 common patterns that can help to demystify your toddler’s seemingly random behaviors. And you guessed it: this is one. We call it the trajectory schema. If you take nothing else away from this post, let it be this: your little one doesn’t throw things because they are misbehaving or “bad.” Babies throw things because they are babies. And they are learning as they do so. Learning about cause and effect. Learning about gravity. Learning what (and practicing something new) they can do with their bodies. Learning hand-eye coordination. It’s a completely normal part of development. And the fascination won’t last forever. The real question is, how do you manage it? First, be proactive. Expect that anything your little one handles might reasonably be thrown or dropped. So choose wisely, avoiding items that are valuable or might pose a danger to them or others if they suddenly took flight. Second, depending on the age of your child, begin introducing some natural consequences. Put the toy/object away temporarily after it is thrown (if throwing it is dangerous or inappropriate). And involve your child in the subsequent clean-up. You can also redirect. Explain which things are and are not for throwing. Model the correct use of these objects. Finally, lean into it. Recognizing that young children are drawn to throwing, provide items that are safe and acceptable to throw. Soft toys. Socks. Balls.
