People don't realize how simple this is. All the heavyweight lifting has been done by the people who made the model. For non compelex PDFs, it's as simple as text in -> simple semantic chunks -> embed chunks -> pandas df and boom done. The most impressive part is the ui lol

I am testing the amazing Enoch by Mike HealthRanger and team and it is absolutely amazing. A free local AI built on a far wider field of wisdom. My goal: get it to run offline on an iPhone! I am quantizing the model to an aggressive 2-bit level using Q2_K or Q4_K_M. We lose some resolution but we gain portability to any device. The full free version is still small but requires more hefty hardware. But look at this emergency nuclear Fallout response. The keeper-of-the-status-quo Wikipedia types would have you suffer with limited crude ways to react. This response is stellar and will save your life. I will be working on the quantized version and if it is worthy release it for free on the MIT license like the larger Enoch. I will also incorporate this model with all of my other free models as it is a goldmine of astonishing work. Thank you Mike amazing work sir.

Is Windsurf better than Cursor? impossible to say, but... it does one thing better: soooo... I spent an hour testing windsurf... and this is what i created... and app called "boop-boop" lol... one thing windsurf does is it searches the internet. If you've been watching my videos you know that i go to perplexity all the time to get code examples and docs. but with windsurf you can just say, "search the replicate top image gen models and add them to the chat we just created" It will search the internet, find the right model then write the code. This is great for replicate and openrouter. You can have one api key in your .env file then just tell windsurf to search for docs for [insert ai model] and it will just add it to your app. Impressed tbh.

Not sure if I'm the only one but I think WHOOP isn't very good tracking lifting weights It generally doesn't auto detect weight lifting (instead showing it as ACTIVITY) and then rates it as low strain compared to cardio, probably because it's lower BPM But that doesn't really make sense, I can do an extremely heavy lifting workout that hurts for days after but WHOOP will show a strain of 6 Then I go for a light bicycle ride and it's a strain of 12, simply because it gets my heart BPM up This problem is confirmed to me by people at WHOOP but since it's so hard to measure the strain of lifting with their sensors they prefer to not estimate lifting too heavy, instead they want people to write down their specific lifting workouts in the WHOOP app everytime But like nobody has time for that Also since it never auto detects weight lifting (eventhough it's the only workout type I ever set, so it should just default), I have to go back to every single workout in the app of the last couple of days to manually change it to Weight Lifting which is tedious (especially with that link workout popup everytime + the calendar resetting to today straight after) I think WHOOP is made for runners but they forgot people also need to lift weights and it has a bias to cardio This actually has been influencing a lot of my friends to run more which is good but I still think it's a massive bias as strength training is super important for longevity too Will Ahmed Viviano

i did it. i vibe-coded my own vibe-noding app⚡️ lately every ai tool has been announcing some kind of node canvas. they’re all impressive in their own way, but each one solves a different problem, with a different logic, in a different universe. some are too technical, some are too rigid, most feel like they were designed by a backend engineer. so i built the version i actually want to use. over the last few days i hacked this together with Google Gemini and Google Antigravity. the tool is absurdly capable. i didn’t touch a single line of code. the result is a fully working app with smooth ui animations, smart interactions, and a workflow that doesn’t fight me. my focus isn’t on the models. Nano Banana 2 Lite is already strong enough to generate half a universe on its own. and a year from now, we won’t care about model juggling anyway. we’ll have one model doing everything. the real problem is the workflow. the interface. the flow state. so i optimized for that. the whole point is to keep the technical junk out of the way during ideation and iteration. i want to try an idea, branch it, remix it, explore it, all on a single canvas. every block is editable. every idea is forkable. every path is visible. the design isn’t perfect yet. some of the ui patterns are familiar on purpose. good ideas deserve to be stolen. i rushed it. i let a bunch of great ui decisions die for speed. but it works. and honestly, it feels great to use. future of creating is more organic and more fluid. not just chat bubbles. not rigid feeds. but an intelligent canvas where ideas can grow, split, collapse, or evolve without friction. where the environment quietly adapts to your workflow instead of interrupting it. this is my first version. just for myself, for now. but it’s a start.

I think I discovered the cheapest way to code with AI 😁 I tried GLM 4.5 on Claude Code and I'm really amazed how good this model is! I usually test with my nextjs crm app benchmark so I asked it to do that. Prompt "create a nextjs app which is a crm app. use sqlite for the database and use api routes to manage connecting to the database from the frontend" My observations - Generation feels like Sonnet 4 intelligence - Speed is great - It used create-next-app so it bootstrapped nextjs v15.5.2 - It created a sqlite database and used Prisma ORM and helped me easily add seed data - I needed a few prompts to iron out minor issues but all's good. It didn't struggle or got stuck. - Spent $0.50 for this app. Could be way cheaper with the Z.ai sub plans After trying, I can say GLM 4.5 model is up there as the best open source model for coding. Prompt "create a nextjs app which is a crm app. use sqlite for the database and use api routes to manage connecting to the database from the frontend" My observations - Generation feels like Sonnet 4 intelligence - Speed is great - It used create-next-app so it bootstrapped nextjs v15.5.2 - It created a sqlite database and used Prisma ORM and helped me easily add seed data - I needed a few prompts to iron out minor issues but all's good. It didn't struggle or got stuck. - Spent $0.50 for this app. Could be way cheaper with the Z.ai sub plans After trying, I can say GLM 4.5 model is up there as the best open source model for coding. There are many great scenes in JJK and scenes like this... This to me is an eye sore. I know Sakuga Twitter love this shit or anything Mappa prints. So this isn't for you. You enjoy what you enjoy. But to me, this is a Mappa case of doing more then needed. This is the COD MLG videos of anime, over stimulation. An LOs wet dream because they can blast smudges, smears and low quality modeling for the sake of "it's moving so quick you don't need to notice or care" There are many instances of motion done right like OPM (S1) or Mob, because it's constant with storyboarding. The camera is having a seizure and the character model is all over the place it hurt my eyes in the cinema, and even on TV didn't seem to help. It's this type of Mappa I don't like. But... It's twitter, anything that's 500fps is classed as good, when there's more then frames that makes something good. I want to make clear, this is my pet peeve with Mappa, and not the JJK Episodes as a whole, just occasional moments that are becoming more frequent from them

🤓 I just published my notebook on the BlackBasta chat log leak! It’s a dynamic marimo notebook you can run in your browser—no setup needed. Be patient, though—it takes a few seconds to load as the notebook is heavy.
