Fun fact: in China, everyone can check their own and their neighbors' social credit score in a billboard. If your score is too low, you will be Blacklisted. So everyone will try their best to stay away from you like you have leprosy. You can earn 200 points if your family members join the army, and earn 20 points for studying ''Xi Jinping Thought'' in this town.

Our Credit Score system in America is a scam This woman has hundreds of thousands of dollars in student debt. She makes payments and managed to pay one of the loans off Her credit score dropped because she paid off one of the loans “I’ll you guys something that just continues to unmotivate me to not pay these off, and it shows you how backwards the system is. My credit score went down a point because I paid off one of my loans. Why, why would I pay off my loans when you're penalized when you do pay it off” Your credit score can actually drop by 20-50+ points because you pay off a loan depending on the size of the account This is absolutely a scam The reason for this is, is because the credit score system is a statistical model that takes in a bunch of things. When you pay off a loan it drops the active installment loan metric, so your score drops It eventually corrects after months but it’s still a scam
