Satya Nadella says LinkedIn merged four job titles, product manager, designer, front-end engineer and back-end engineer, into one: "I'll give you at LinkedIn, we used to have product managers, we had designers, we had front-end engineers, and then we had back-end engineers and so on." "So what we did is we sort of took those first four roles and combined them. In fact, increased scope and said, they're all full-stack builders." "So at the same time, as you can imagine, if we're to build an AI product today, there's a complete new workflow, right? It starts with evals, right?" "So basically, there's this eval to science, to infrastructure." "And so evals are done by these full-stack builders and what have you and product managers in the new form, the infrastructure is built by the systems engineers at the back-end because they support the science that supports the product." "So in some sense, there's a new loop and you have to structurally change." LinkedIn has already put this into hiring. Its Associate Product Manager program is finished, and the replacement, the Associate Product Builder track, teaches code, design and product management at the same time. Evals sit at the front of that workflow rather than the end, so writing them is now part of building the product instead of a check before shipping. - Satya Nadella (Satya Nadella), Chairman and CEO of Microsoft (Microsoft), with the All-In Podcast (The All-In Podcast) at USA House, Davos 2026.

I've been researching which companies produce the best product leaders, and Revolut keeps coming up at the top of the list. Revolut alumni PMs go on to become CPOs, first PMs at startups, and get promoted faster and more often than PMs from almost any other company in the world. I sat down with Dmitry Zlokazov, head of product at Revolut, to understand what they do differently. In our conversation, we discuss: 🔸 Their unique org structure where “product owners” manage cross-functional pods as “local CEOs,” with genuine end-to-end ownership and hiring/firing power 🔸 How a radical, ultra-flat structure enables more than 150 product owners to maintain founder-level quality and velocity across dozens of parallel launches 🔸 How Revolut maintains quality while shipping hundreds of features across over 50 countries 🔸 Why Revolut favors “raw intellect and hunger” over experience, and how internal transfers (including ex-engineers and ops managers) become the company’s most successful product leaders 🔸 How Revolut’s founders review every single UI shipped, and why this founder detail obsession scales rather than limits innovation 🔸 Their framework for launching new products—from ideation, validation, and first user cohort to rapid “algorithmization” and scaling across countries 🔸 The importance of treating products that are 99% done as closer to 0% done, vs. 100% done Listen now 👇 • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: ⭐ This entire episode is brought to you by Stripe — Helping companies of all sizes grow revenue:

What you’ll learn: 🔸 How focusing on impact, rather than just shipping features, has transformed the company’s culture 🔸 How they use “traps” (timeboxed deadlines) to drive focus, avoid scope creep, and deliver faster 🔸 How they set seemingly impossible goals, like building 25 new features in one month, to unlock bigger thinking 🔸 Why they decided to launch five new products simultaneously and how it redefined their market positioning 🔸 How sharing all business metrics with the entire company—even during interviews—created a culture of accountability and alignment 🔸 Daniel’s personal journey of navigating impostor syndrome and scaling challenges, and the mental models he uses to stay grounded and effective Listen now 👇 • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 Enterpret—Transform customer feedback into product growth: 🏆 Airtable ProductCentral—Launch to new heights with a unified system for product development: 🏆 Vanta—Automate compliance.
