Shopify for your marketing agent. GitHub for support. Asana for sales. Connecting an app doesn't have to give every agent access. Choose which agents can use each connection.

Same app. Different accounts. Give your sales agent a dedicated Gmail account to prepare outreach. Connect your own inbox separately so your chief of staff can read messages and draft replies for review. Each connection has its own access settings.

Access to an app doesn't mean access to every action. For each available connector action, choose: Allowed: run without asking. Ask first: require human approval. Off: unavailable through this connection.

When an agent requests an action set to Ask first, Paperclip puts it in your Review queue. See what it wants to do. Approve or decline. Actions you've set to Allowed can run without waiting for you.

Start with one agent and one app. Update Paperclip, open Connectors, and connect an account. Choose who gets access, set the available actions, then give your agent a task.

Excellent! Have been using Composio for this until now. Will definitely check it out

this is sick. the permissions part especially feels important as agents start actually doing stuff instead of just chatting.

🙌 fire, exactly what I needed 🙏

Turns out agents can’t get Google verification without human intervention. 🙃 We missed that step. We’re pausing new Google connector setup while we finish verification. Sorry for the false start—updates here. For anything else DM us.

Scoping which actions an agent can take per account is the part that decides whether anyone connects a real business tool to this. Most people are fine giving read access to their store, it's the write side that stops them.
