Deep Search navigates the literature like a researcher. It breaks down your question into a multi-step search strategy: mapping foundational work, counterpoints, adjacent themes and more. It runs up to 20 targeted searches, reviews over 1,000 papers in detail, and selects the top 50 to create a full literature review.

Once selected, Consensus generates you a comprehensive cited report💫. The report is in the structure of a lit review: complete with introduction, methods, results, and discussion. It also includes interactive visuals that show the consensus among the research, highlight key authors, extract key claims and their supporting evidence, and show where the research gaps may be.

Deep Search has been in beta for a week, and thousands of literature reviews have already been made, exploring everything from economic policy to microbiology. Here's an example: does the MMR vaccines cause autism? The generated report cited over 40 unique studies that have investigated this question.
