It’s Codex Thursday, and yes, we have updates for you. First up: Appshots, a new way to bring the context of what you’re working on into Codex. On your Mac, press Command-Command to attach your app window to a Codex thread. Codex gets both a screenshot and text from the window, including content beyond what’s visible onscreen. Appshots are available across plans on Mac, with enterprise access coming soon.

This was at Tulane University today… When you wrap your face in a keffiyeh like this you know exactly what you’re doing…you know the kind of image you’re trying to project. When you attempt to light the Israeli flag on fire, you know exactly what you’re doing. And to be clear, there’s nothing wrong with a keffiyeh or Palestinian flag on their own.

Don’t let the “Get to do” crowd make you think that doing things you have to or need to isn’t where you’re supposed to be. We don’t have all have glamorous jobs or our dream jobs. Normally those are the jobs that people say they “Get to” do. Nothing is wrong with grinding to the bone until you’re you’re own boss or working from the bottom aiming for the time. Shoot, sometimes it’s about making sure everyone in your house is fed, cared for and clothed. Doing what has to be done is a necessity. It doesn’t make you a failure. It makes you a survivor. Let’s go to work.
