The API was using “provider” and “adapter” for the same thing, so I cleaned it up. v1 uses adapters everywhere and makes fallback routing explicit.

Sending is now split into three clear methods: • send() for one email • sendMany() for ordered batch sends • sendPersonalized() for recipient-specific content There’s also provider-native scheduled sending.

The biggest backend change is delivery safety. v1 tracks whether an email definitely wasn’t sent or whether delivery is unknown, so retries and fallbacks don’t silently create duplicate emails. The migration guide covers every breaking change.

In this new version there is a Email UI blocks section. This uses @shadcn with your existing shadcn theme. This reuses React Email from Resend, and compiles them into pre-made presets.
