Introducing GotEmail 💌 A fast, native mail app for your Mac. Every mail account in one window. New mail the moment it lands. AI that drafts and summarizes when you ask. 4MB. Pure Swift. No subscription. Lifetime license, unlimited macs 👇

btw all of my apps built with ShipCat

Is it possible to connect MCP? If yes, I'm switching. Been using spark for ages but fed up with their constant re-design.

congrats on the launch :) you can list GotEmail on StartupBase too and get a DR 73 backlink.

Can we chat to our team within a email. If so sold! And glad to pay

there is chat&thread view for that for now but still noted!

4MB for a native mail app is refreshingly tiny. congrats on GotEmail!

thank you!

Sold me! Purchased and will check out tomorrow!

i wish you love it!

Works with custom emails from custom domains like Mail App with iCloud accounts?

yes, absolutely!

I try GotEmail with iCloud and custom domains, but the client only can sent emails from the authenticated account, the other emails from custom domains not works like Mail app. This image shows how Mail app works

Fixed in 0.1.2, out now (Check for Updates). Right-click your iCloud account → Edit Account → "Also send as", and add your other addresses one per line (e.g. [email protected]). They show up in the From menu, and replies to mail sent to one of them go out from that address automatically. Thanks for the report!

It works! Thanks, you rocks! 😎

happy to hear that! thank you too!

Habrá soporte para iPhone , iPad ?

yes, its on the way

You're going to make me buy a Mac Great app!

hahah thanks!

邮件会经过你的服务器吗🧐

no, never! its between your mac and your email server

Any plans for an iOS companion app?

absolutely! coming on next days

What type of mail does it support? 365 / exchange?

all frontier email clients including 365. pls update to version 0.2.0 from check for updates

I assume imap only for m365 accounts too?

hey, outlook support is live. pls update to version 0.2.0 from check for updates. then sign in to your account with one-click

Is it native exchange support or just imap? Is there an iOS app coming?

its native support with sign in with microsoft

Awesome! I’ll buy a license asap

Great but which service handles backend sync? Is it secure like proton?

its SwiftMail, same as apple’s native

Bought it! A really good app. A light mode would be nice aswell.

just noted!

I just bought it, amazing stuff!

THIS just for $5 bro???? are you crazyyyyy???? it's goooood charge more

its early bird offer and only 100 slots for this price

Just purchased, but logging in not really a good user experience, maybe fix onboarding in future updates

hey, just updated add account screen. pls update

Much better, thanks for quick update. Next please dark mode 🙏

I just bough it but... Can you make the Gmail provider to work with Google Auth instead of just inputting the password?

yes its on the way. google takes 7-10 days to confirm login with oauth to gmail

Keep building brother

thank you, Kamran!

Love to support very small creators like you.

what about the ai? is it paid?

no, but will change that for privacy

4MB, pure Swift, lifetime license is a strong pitch. One thing I’d want to know before putting every inbox in it: do the AI summaries and drafts run on device, or does email content go to an API?

it uses OpenAI API by default. but for privacy here is the option for OpenAI compatible API key if you to use your own AI.

Looks really fast! I’d use it if you shipped a Windows version too.

thanks! coming soon, stay tuned

Can i connect zoho by logging into zoho?

it connects to Zoho over IMAP/SMTP with your Zoho password. just go to settings and enable IMAP access

I am def in if you can add the zoho by login instead of IMAP/SMTP.

it’ll be available soon

Can anyone confirm how reliable notifications are especially for m365 accounts? That’s always been the pain point for email apps.
