So, this was the one that hurt and bothered me the most. They said this guy was a fake Christian. Look at him articulate the gospel to thousands. He said what even many pastors wouldn’t say. I asked myself how much Christian could he be? Married. Faithful. Of good repute. Able to teach. Diligent. Honest. I could go on and on. He led TPUSA Faith, an initiative which brought millions of young Americans back to orthodox Christianity. He was against abortion. He was pro marriage. All Charlie did was bring Christian ideals into public life. It really bothered me that they labeled him unchristian.

I had a debate this morning about religion and the State here on Twitter. Some claimed that the American founding fathers were deeply Christian; someone even called them Prayer Warriors. What defines a Christian? Can one simply call oneself a Christian without adhering to Jesus’ teachings and values, or must one live by those Christian values to truly be considered a Christian? Did these founding fathers live by Christian values, or are slavery and white supremacy considered Christian values? I have shared a video below of white supremacists in South Africa from two documentary films by Nick Broomfield. The apartheid regime was purportedly rooted in Christianity, but was there anything genuinely Christian about it? How did the key apartheid actors treat black South Africans, and did they view themselves as God’s chosen ones? Was that racist view Christian? Many Black Africans simply regurgitate what they were taught in Sunday school without applying critical thinking because we are victims of colonial education, which aimed to train Black clerks rather than serious thinkers. It saddens me to see Black people in 2024 justifying slavery and even quoting the Old Testament while doing so. We need to address this embarrassing ignorance! How can one quote the Old Testament to justify a human rights violation in the name of Christianity? Those responsible for many atrocities throughout history often identify as Christians to whitewash their deplorable behaviour. But can they truly be considered Christians when their lives and actions are detached from Christian values? While self-identification is one aspect of being Christian, living according to Christian values and principles is integral. Without that, one cannot truly be considered a Christian. How can the violation of human rights be justified simply because those responsible claim to be Christians? Is the Zimbabwean government, which fails to provide even paracetamol and jails and kills its opponents, acting in a Christian manner? Why not when your basis of being a Christian is self identification, Mnangagwa and his regime say they are Christian?

I think the most exhausting part has to be saying, ‘hey you’re wrong,’ only for them to respond with shit like, ‘YoU MaD CuZ wE iNvEnTeD tHe AiR FrYeR!’ Any rational coherent culture would see the numbers and say, ‘whoa we are the common denominator in everything negative here in America. We should address this.’ Instead it’s, ‘wE GoN StEaL aNd ShOw dEm dAt We uNiTeD!’ 🥴 Logical conversations are a foreign language to these people. Proceed with caution.

If you were facing an issue with your neighbor that was affecting your family's health, you'd have to have a serious conversation and that's exactly what we need to do with Canadian officials about steps they can take to prevent repeat, uncontainable wildfires. I'm going to be using the relationships I've established during my time in office to bring some action and accountability to this problem. We cannot let another year go by and find ourselves in the same position next summer.

Today, on Orthodox Christian Eve, we would like to share a story we might call a 'Christian Uprising,' which the mainstream media did not report on due to its 'woke' political agenda. We hope that this post will be shared with others so they can learn about what happened in Montenegro between 2019-2020. In 2019, Montenegro found itself at the crossroads of faith and politics. The Balkan nation, with its rich cultural heritage and diverse religious communities, became the stage for a fervent movement fueled by the desire to protect centuries-old traditions. The catalyst for the 'uprising' was a controversial law proposed by the Montenegrin government known as the 'Law on Freedom of Religion.' The law aimed to nationalize religious properties of the Serbian Orthodox Church and assert state control over the appointment of church officials. The Serbian Orthodox Church vehemently opposed the legislation, viewing it as a direct attack on its autonomy and a violation of the centuries-old ties between the church and its followers. As the government moved forward with the law, tensions escalated. Peaceful protests took to the streets of the capital, Podgorica, and all other cities and towns. However, the situation soon took an unexpected turn as the protests evolved into a broader 'Christian uprising.' The movement gained momentum as Serbian churches and monasteries across Montenegro became focal points for demonstrations. The 'Christian uprising' took on a peaceful yet powerful character, with people from all walks of life participating in prayer vigils, candlelight marches, and public gatherings. In the midst of the upheaval, a moment of unity emerged when leaders from various religious communities, including Muslims and Catholics, expressed solidarity with their Orthodox Christian brethren. Together, they advocated for a peaceful resolution that respected the religious diversity inherent in Montenegro's history. The 'Christian uprising' in Montenegro, born out of a shared commitment to faith and heritage, left an indelible mark on the nation's history. It served as a testament to the power of collective action and demonstrated that the voice of the people, when united by a common cause, could influence change. Out of a total population exceeding 600,000 people, nearly 300,000 participated in the protests. The 'Christian uprising' in Montenegro came to an end on the election day, August 30, 2020. The protests lasted from April 2, 2019, to August 30, 2020 (1 year, 4 months, and 4 weeks). The corrupt regime that ruled the country for 30 years was finally defeated, and the 'Law on Freedom of Religion' was repealed. The President of Montenegro, who proposed the law, was defeated in the presidential elections of 2022, ending his 30-year rule.
